I have a pretty good theory for Legends Z-A. Specifically, Zygarde's potential counterpart.: * The Z in the title obviously means Zygarde, but what about the A? Since Zygarde is the last Pokemon alphabetically, its counterpart must be the first (surpassing Abomasnow). * Look at it this way; Xerneas represents Life and Yveltal represents Death. Zygarde represents Balance/Order, the balance of an ecosystem, as too much life leads to death and too much death leads to no new life to flourish. * With that said, Zygarde’s counterpart must be the representative of *Chaos,* the chaos that effects the balance of life and death. Perhaps it will be straight-up evil and intelligent enough to have a moral agency with an understanding of good/evil. * If that’s the case, like the Zygarde Cores, perhaps the A Chaos Pokemon has components that are scattered. But unlike Zygarde, it was separated on purpose to keep it from regaining its complete form. * Dream type can be Dark/Poison with Levitate. I'm getting fed up with Dragons being the ONLY type for Legends.
I'd rather see a regional variant of Dragonite over a mega, with these stats Water / Dragon HP: 100 Attack: 75 Defence: 105 Sp Atk: 120 Sp Def: 105 Speed: 95
I doubt that it is only going to take place in the past sense the trailer looked mostly futuristic looking and there was a person sitting near a Furfrou that had what looked like a smartphone. If this took place either a short amount of time before or after Legends: Arceus, there won’t likely be any phones that you can take along on your person.
Maybe mega-evolution is what causes people in old Lumiose to be afraid of pokemon and not want to live with them in close proximity. So maybe the antagonists to the Luminose project will utilize mega evolution to further people's fear of pokemon and the true villain is just obsessed with mega evolution and is utilizing the antagonist to help further the research into mega evolution. But then there's the question of, why is it that none of the Kalos region pokemon can mega evolve when mega evolution is native to Kalos? Maybe that's where Zygarde comes in and maybe in this game we will utilize Zygarde to REMOVE megaevolution from the Native Kalos Pokemon. Therefore removing that extra bit of fear people had of pokemon and more willing to take them in and endorse the Luminose project. It would finally give Zygarde the spotlight they deserve and allow gamefreak to make new mega evolutions that will still fit into X/Y story of those pokemon not having a mega evolution later. Who knows? It could even bring up another game where someone tries to bring BACK those evolutions.
I definitely like what you did with Lysandre's Ancestor and Clement's ancestor , making them Kalos royal family lore researcher and designer respectively, and I hope this is just the straight plot of the game (I thought it was that good and I think something similar to this concept will be the actual plot of the real game based on what we saw in Legends- Arceus). But, I would add one thing to Lysandre's ancestor to tie him closer to the story and closer to Clemont's ancestor. I would make the ancestor of Lysandre the benefactor of the redesign program while Clement's ancestor is designing the new city.
I couldn’t agree more Like 362-450 new additional kalos Pokémon Most of them, new common Pokémon, but yes a lot of regional variants too as well as new pseudo legendary Pokemon lines, a legendary sub trio and the legendary Pokemon that has a name that starts with the letter A and is the counterpart of zygarde
Hey, I got an idea! what about giving a role to that 122 year-old woman who was from France? Not as an NPC, but as an important role like an ancestor of someone.
Honestly I'd like the ancestors of Dexio/Sina to be the player characters of the game and ancestors of Calem/Serena to get a role similar to that of Adaman/Irida
I don't remember you talking about the mega forms of Milotic and Noivern, but I gotta say I appreciate the thought of bringing another Kalos Pokemon to the Mega Evolution pedestal! I knew immediately Mega Dragonite looked like a superhero as soon as I saw the wings shaped like a cape; they also look like waves like you see from the ocean. I would also like to see more on the ancestors of previous characters we've known about at some point in a future video.
I wonder how catching wild Pokemon would work? I’m guessing each district of the city has its own wilderness with different Pokemon that you have to go through to get to the other city districts. Since the city undergoing renovations they may be inaccessible at first so you have to go around on the outside to get to them.
I like to imagine that if sycamore ancestor concept is real, it would be cool if game freak took mega evolutions entries (like garchomp or aerodactyl ones that are pretty dark) and base sycamore’s ancestor character design, for example, precise how he doesn’t give a shit about pokemons and he is ready to do anything for research or maybe gaining power, in a world where pokemon and humans aren’t so friendly, imagine what a trainer with the power of mega evolution could do
No man, I think ZA is gonna be in the future with what we see in the trailer: the cyber and future animations and reconstruction program. Now I do think that we could get told of Kalos’ ancient past, it’s just the game won’t be in the past but 100-200 years in the future. Descendants of Team flare would still be the villains or maybe a descendent of Diantha.
Meanwhile I think the game could be based on both the past and the future. I don't know what exactly led me to think that, but the idea of us being in both eras and trying to influence events could be interesting.
@GoinGreninja I think you're kind of right here. I noticed that hologram-like feel to the trailer and wondered what that was all about. From what I remember from X/Y, the city is quite modern and pokemon always has a bunch of tech (like pokeballs or the storage pc) that aren't heavily explained. Maybe we'll get to see the development of that modern tech?
@@ryanparrott6866 I don't think it's a mystery big enough that needs explanation above everything else. I want to know more about Zygarde, if anything. I want to know why it upholds order and what kind of a mess happened for there to be a legend about it, whether it's in the past or in the future.
@@jockson7574 I said I believe in both, not that past is definitely the one. But if you've to ask me which one I prefer, it'd definitely be the future, because it makes for more interesting storytelling.
My question is if they are bringing back most if not all megas, what are they gonna do about mega Slobro. You might think "why would he be any different?" at first but realize he's a special case. I'm 99% sure he's the only Pre-Existing mega with a regional variant. Now Gamefreak/Nintendo may go the poring way of not making Galar slobro not obtainable in game. But imagine if they kept it in. That's why I think this game's gimmick is going to be giving regional variant megas. Its weird because Galar Slobro isn't a separate mon. It's STILL A SLOBRO. So would the Slobronite still work?? Its not the same a as a mega Gmax Charizard X with a Z move. Slobro is just a base mon with a different form. Not an extra form thru some sort of mechanic transformation ie megas/gmax. Soo am I crazy or do yall think i have a point? I would love to see Mega persian, Ninetales, goodra, sandslash ect.
I could imagine a colress ancestor to connect to unova since the clemont ancestor and colress ancestor have a similar goal also each kalos starter should have a battle bond form
Mega Xernas and mega Yveltal would be best here seeing the zygarde got all those forms so a way to match him would be mega forms or aka their true forms before being put in sleep mode for 3000 years
Trying to think what may be new for mega evolution in ZA, like maybe mega evolution could actually combine with certain pokemon evolution to create an entirely new pokemon, it could be the same for the kanto and hoenn starters, they evolve holding a megastone, and could actually create an new evolution
9:27 That’s actually a scary thought, because if this game adds 10 mega evolutions and is set 200 years ago, that would mean a Mega Evolution atrophies an average of once every 20 years, meaning that as many as 150 mega evolutions may have atrophied and that mega evolution itself would eventually go extinct (wait, was the ultimate weapon fired 3000 years ago? I can’t look it up now).
Wonder if battle bond is an ancient phenomenon to the kalos region and we'll get maybe like a new version of it here. Or just the return of ash Greninja 🤷 I'm cool with either
Something I think would be cool is if, at some part of the story, the project manager for the redevelopment started acting strangely for no obvious reason in a "Self-Sabatoge" kind of deal, lashing out when he says somethings wrong when the workers were following the original plan and hadn't been notified, people getting demoralized due to this shift in personality and some higher ups thinking it's just stress getting to him, until the professor suddenly goes missing and the manager doesn't seem bothered in the slightest. The professor is missing until the player finds the professor held hostage in the managers home. The professor had found out what's wrong with the manager and had to be silenced to prevent him talking about Anneel (the name I'm giving my concept for an A to zygarde's Z) (a Ice/Electric sea dwelling serpent drawing from jormungandr as the other three are also based on norse myth as well as the name and type choice being made to parallel zygarde as so it can hit zygarde very hard but it can also take hard from zygarde, and anneal meaning like freezing in place or stiffen) I feel like it's shown that Zygarde understands change is just part of life, it understands things can't stay that way eternally, Anneel is the COMPLETE opposite extreme it wants things to stay the same and will do ANYTHING to keep it that way even freezing entire ecosystems and taking them home if things start changing, it was influencing the manager the "self" sabotage was anneel's doing to stop the project, and it would have a more useful ability by normal means but if zygarde is present there is a drawback, congealed aura is an entry based ability like intimidate but lowers speed harshly but also is like an entry hazard (if Anneel is on the field and the opponent is switched the new pokemon is also affected its a powered up sticky web more or less) however if zygarde enters battle things start getting bad for Anneel, zygarde more or less gets both abilities together the first aura break more or less turns congealed aura back on anneel and his speed is dropped by two, the effect being turned on it, and then zygarde instantly goes into 100% mode as long as anneel is present if anneel switches it reverts and it enters again it transforms again. Power construct is still the better ability, though, as it just matters if it enters the field as it more or less is treated as a rider calyrex in that situation. It's just a case of defeat anneel really easy with zygarde, and it could be in the dex that the reason Anneel even lives in the ocean but still is invested in "protecting" kalos is that zygarde drove it to do so as anneel knows it can't win in a head-on fight so it has to employ underhanded tactics to get its way.
"More Mega evos are are happening because the Ultimate wrapon happened more recently in the past" Only by like 100 sooner than present. There is still thousands of years seperating the speculative time and the great war. To help give perspective, about 100 years ago was cowboys in the USA, about 3000 years ago the bronze age and about 500 years before the Pyramids were built. Not all that much closer to the ultimate weapon.
Sigh... why is every person making a theory.... so concerned with X Pokemon having a mega evolution but not having it in the X and Y games..... Like we know why... it is because they were created yet. In world however they just could have always existed... just like every region that pops up every few years... with s slew of new Pokemon...
Well I hope there are a ton of new Pokémon, regional variants, new evolutions and tons of new never before seen regular Pokémon as well That’s what Pokemon legends z-a needs over more new mega evolutions. I still want mega flygon though
I would be down to play it if this is the game we get 😁 I'll be honest if we get this Sycamore ancestor, it would be fun if he would be like Volo, collect the remaining Mega Stones to unlock mega Xerneus and mega Yveltal OR the Zygarde cells to summon perfect Zygarde. (Or both) And once that happens, we go to the top of the Prisim Tower to learn and find out that the Sycamore ancestor is doing all of this to make the pokémon world beautiful just like what Lysander was trying to do in X and Y. When we battle the Sycamore ancestor, he would have 3 rounds Round 1: mega evolutions of the Legends ZA starters AND the Kalos starters (yes all of these battles have permanent megas kinda like Roaring Moon and Iron Vallient from scarlet and violet) Round 2: Mega Xerneus and Mega Yveltal And Round 3 are all of the Zygarde forms (I know this sounds unfair but if Volo can use he full team of 6 and the Giratina forms, so can Sycamore's ancestor with the megas and the Zygarde forms) Once the battle's over and Sycamore's ancestor gets arrested by the International Police, you can go back to the Prisim Tower to battle and catch Zygarde in it's perfect form just like Giratina in it's origin form like in legends Arceus. And for fun, once you catch Zygarde, it'll drop it's core which allows you change Zygarde's forms like the grecious orb. And as for Xerneus and Yveltal, you can go to the Pokémon Village to catch Xerneus, and you can to the top of the Tower of Mastery to catch Yveltal. And once you catch them, they'll drop their mega stones and that's how you can get mega Xerneus and mega Yveltal. So that's it for how to get the Aura Trio. What do you think 🤔😁
@@VaporeonKanto yeah it's a vision of what the present lumiose will be which fits with the trailer line abt the city being a dream of peaceful coexistence between humans and pokemon
These character designs look so good. Funny to see some « traditional » French clothing elements. Also these megas look amazing, but I hope Dragonite is a regional variant and not necessarily a mega. And an evolution for Noivern.

That Clemont ancestor design didn’t need to be that good damn
Wait does that mean that the sycamore ancestor wears cosplay based on which legendary he summons ?/j
I'd rather see a regional variant of Dragonite over a mega, with these stats
Water / Dragon
HP: 100
Attack: 75
Defence: 105
Sp Atk: 120
Sp Def: 105
Speed: 95
Given that it's a "Legends" game, it makes sense for it to take place in the past.
what would Diantha's ancestor's role be?
What about diantha....?
Also i wanna collect zygarde cells. They need to tie in Alola somehow, too
Your mega Delphox design is gorgeous I wish the base form looked more like it
I doubt that it is only going to take place in the past sense the trailer looked mostly futuristic looking and there was a person sitting near a Furfrou that had what looked like a smartphone. If this took place either a short amount of time before or after Legends: Arceus, there won’t likely be any phones that you can take along on your person.
You are smoking ROCK
I think There is already one mega dragon noble Pokemon(Flygon)
I hope Mega Luxray
I honestly hope we get more kalos Pokémon and regional variants Kalos deserves more than just 73 Pokémon
I couldn’t agree more
Like 362-450 new additional kalos Pokémon
Most of them, new common Pokémon, but yes a lot of regional variants too as well as new pseudo legendary Pokemon lines, a legendary sub trio and the legendary Pokemon that has a name that starts with the letter A and is the counterpart of zygarde
Hey, I got an idea! what about giving a role to that 122 year-old woman who was from France? Not as an NPC, but as an important role like an ancestor of someone.
Mega Milotic looks gorgeous 😍
Thank you!! I'm glad you like it! 😄
They should make Mega Charizard A too
Honestly I'd like the ancestors of Dexio/Sina to be the player characters of the game and ancestors of Calem/Serena to get a role similar to that of Adaman/Irida
as a plmm glazed fan, mega noivern is great
I don't remember you talking about the mega forms of Milotic and Noivern, but I gotta say I appreciate the thought of bringing another Kalos Pokemon to the Mega Evolution pedestal!
Please give use the milotic (water/fairy) mega we deserve!!
@@GoinGreninja I doubt it. I see people talk about that a lot and while I see their point, I believe it’ll be in the future
@@jockson7574 I said I believe in both, not that past is definitely the one. But if you've to ask me which one I prefer, it'd definitely be the future, because it makes for more interesting storytelling.
Imagine Mega Alphas 😳😳
I am your true fan watching you since 2021
Love your Pokemon content and I am a Pokemon too love the content that you create
Thanks so much for watching!! 😄
YESSSS! Plz Gamefreak give Noivern some love! Mega Noivern looks amazing!!!!!
I could imagine a colress ancestor to connect to unova since the clemont ancestor and colress ancestor have a similar goal also each kalos starter should have a battle bond form
THE FURFROU IN THE TRAILER IS A ROBOT: Change my mind!
13:13
Dragoniteite
I think you should make a video of the future and how that could be included into the plot as well
Mega Xernas and mega Yveltal would be best here seeing the zygarde got all those forms so a way to match him would be mega forms or aka their true forms before being put in sleep mode for 3000 years
It’s funny that all the boss Megas have wings except milotic
I think you are actually predicting a lot, can't wait to see what the game is going to be like
The Kalos starters are going to be in the wild just like how gen 4 starters were in the wild in Legends Arceus.
Trying to think what may be new for mega evolution in ZA, like maybe mega evolution could actually combine with certain pokemon evolution to create an entirely new pokemon, it could be the same for the kanto and hoenn starters, they evolve holding a megastone, and could actually create an new evolution
Another possible element could be postwar reconstruction which could be interesting imo
What if the Lysandre ancestor is Lysandre himself and it's revealed he is as old as AZ?
He is the descendant of AZ’s brother
I think we could see some other ancestors of characters, like Fantina and Looker, in Legends ZA
Mega Evos for the last couple sets of the TCG block!
Also drawing from lysandre's motives now that I'm thinking about it.
Zygarde is based off of Jormungandr too, but it's not a bad idea, I suppose.
@GoinGreninja I can see that but I always felt it pulled more from Nidhogg then jormungandr.
@@peytonmacmillan9047 I think it's both. They just use both Nidhogg and Jormungandr to convey the same idea this Pokémon has.
The elite four and diantha ancestors could be the old team flare leaders
"More Mega evos are are happening because the Ultimate wrapon happened more recently in the past"
Only by like 100 sooner than present.
I’m more excited for new regional forms/evos to Pokemon than megas don’t get me wrong new megas but I love new forms and Mons more
Well I hope there are a ton of new Pokémon, regional variants, new evolutions and tons of new never before seen regular Pokémon as well
That’s what Pokemon legends z-a needs over more new mega evolutions. I still want mega flygon though
5:21 What about Bonnie?
I would be down to play it if this is the game we get 😁
I'll be honest if we get this Sycamore ancestor, it would be fun if he would be like Volo, collect the remaining Mega Stones to unlock mega Xerneus and mega Yveltal OR the Zygarde cells to summon perfect Zygarde. (Or both) And once that happens, we go to the top of the Prisim Tower to learn and find out that the Sycamore ancestor is doing all of this to make the pokémon world beautiful just like what Lysander was trying to do in X and Y. When we battle the Sycamore ancestor, he would have 3 rounds
Round 1: mega evolutions of the Legends ZA starters AND the Kalos starters (yes all of these battles have permanent megas kinda like Roaring Moon and Iron Vallient from scarlet and violet)
Round 2: Mega Xerneus and Mega Yveltal
And Round 3 are all of the Zygarde forms
(I know this sounds unfair but if Volo can use he full team of 6 and the Giratina forms, so can Sycamore's ancestor with the megas and the Zygarde forms)
Once the battle's over and Sycamore's ancestor gets arrested by the International Police, you can go back to the Prisim Tower to battle and catch Zygarde in it's perfect form just like Giratina in it's origin form like in legends Arceus.
Hoping for gamefreak to give us new feebas evo based on other contest stat
Ok that’s just Lysandre and looker’s love child.
I really thought you were making a pun there for a second by saying “unovication” (unova, unify)
We can see a Lady on her phone in the trailer, so it would make more sense that its happening in the future.
Thats probably present day of the reconstruction.
@@VaporeonKanto yeah it's a vision of what the present lumiose will be which fits with the trailer line abt the city being a dream of peaceful coexistence between humans and pokemon
If you are talking about the lady at the table she wasn’t in the phone. You can see her fingers visibly in the trailer and there’s nothing there
These character designs look so good. Funny to see some « traditional » French clothing elements. Also these megas look amazing, but I hope Dragonite is a regional variant and not necessarily a mega. And an evolution for Noivern.
Good idea and theories but I don’t know about the past part.
I would love to see pretty much every Kalosian Gym Leader ancestor than just Clemont's ancestor as an architect and electrician. What do you think of these potential ancestors?
Viola's ancestor as a photographer
Grant's ancestor as a paleontologist
Korrina's ancestor as a mail deliverer
Ramos' ancestor as a painter
Valerie's ancestor as a fashionista
Olympia's ancestor as a fortune teller
Wulfric's ancestor as a chef
Maybe a Lyzander ancestor is like a frankeistein type of person
Warning! A banger video dropped!!
🚨WARNING🚨
17:35 I was thinking of Diantha.
I feel like story-wise, if it does take place in the past, this game will tell us why so much of Zygarde was missing from Kalos during X/Y and was instead in Alola
Doubt it. Zygarde probably traveled to Alola closer to the present
I want to know what happened to Emmet.
Your mega all look awesome I love dragon types and even though Milotic isn't I might consider getting one as well if it looked like that
