Hi I've just found your channel. Thanks for posting as the contents was exactly what I was looking for. I wish I'd found this a few years ago. Excellent 😂
Just found your channel as I was surfing for some videos on the x100f as I just picked one up and am still slowly learning how to use it (I normally only shoot on film). Your work is gorgeous and your videos are both entertaining and informative!! Keep up the good work from a fellow aussie photographer!!
Hi! I really hope you can help me here :( So I am New to the Fujifilms and just Got the x100vi - i enjoy shooting JPG’s but wanted to go into the raw editing (as I’ve been doing for years on my Sony a7IV). So I downloaded your 2024 preset and when I applied it to one of my raw Fujifilm photos which was shot outside in neutral exposure - my photo turned very odd and magenta in the colors…? Am I doing something wrong? Do I need to do some settings in order to make my fujifilm photos compatible with Lightroom or? Really hope you can answer this, because I am lost haha.
Hey thanks for your video! I am quite new with Fuji, and I found the polemic between them and Lightroom which apparently Lightroom wouldn't be a great raw editor such as Capture one. I shoot only in RAW, use Lr for a long time and I wouldn't change for an other raw editor for sure. I would love to have your opinion on this. Thank you.
the files from my xt20 in lightroom just look waxy if i dont sharp then... and if i do sharp the worms come, i really can get in to the colors i want in Lightroom but the texture of the image is so OFF! and i already tried no using the detail and radius sliders, but its just no the same... the effect is too subtle! In capture one, the image texture is OK but i find it hard to get the colors right in there! im kinda bouncing between then testing and getting nowhere...
what is the sense in modifiying so much colors and hues. I mean, your photos are really great, but they dont represents reality. What do you think about this topic?
Would you guys like to see more editing videos like this?
Absolutely
@@tallegoossens3234 anything in particular you'd like to see? :)
@@mattyloucas just more the same of this, it's nice to see other photographers reasoning and decisions when editing :)
Yes please!! Could you do more and show us the whole process of editing pictures? (Don’t show the result first)

Glad you think so! Thanks Michael!
Hey Matty, great video! Do you always shoot your Fuji photos in RAW?
Hi Justine! Yesss, I usually shoot in RAW. I did try shooting in only JPG and did a video on that so check it out if you're interested :)
