anytime i come into a sandy corner i cant help my self i need to slow down and come close to crashing every single time im not a fan of sand myself very crummy surface to ride on i find even body weight mid to just a littler farther then mid back im slinding all over and front end wants to wash out
he's not all right in my opinion, like body position, i ride a yz 125 in the national 125 championship and when i have a sandy berm i always hang on the rear wheel to keep the front wheel light. because if i don't, i can't hold on the gas and the bike will just fall over. As well as throttle control, when you ride a 2 stroke, you need to hit the gas right after you stopped touching the rear brake, and even use the clutch a little bit. And before people start talking shit, i come from The Netherlands so i know what sand tracks are lol

+kishan bekkers hallo! Het beste is om onderaan de eerste knip gas te geven zodat je je voorwiel over het gat heen kunt 'trekken'. Probeer dit eerst bij kleinere knippen. En waar er niet te veel achter elkaar zitten. Als er meerdere zijn, zorg dan dat je voorwiel precies boven op de knip terecht komt. zodat je hem direct weer omhoog kunt trekken . Zorg dat je staat en je knieën goed tegen de motor klemt. Hang achterover en laat de motor het werk doen. anders hou je het niet vol haha. Succes!
+Joop puinhoop Heel erg bedankt voor je info! Ik zal veel gaan oefenen want dat zat me best tegen. Je kan ook op mijn videos kijken en dan zie je ook dat ik het moeilijk heb met bochten/knippen. Dankjewel man voor de moeit! :)
+kishan bekkers Geen dank, ik heb even snel gekeken. En m'n tips voor het zand rijden zijn,klem meer met je knieën. Op die manier kun je meer met je lichaam sturen en niet met je armen. Hierdoor rij je minder verkrampt en dus makkelijker. En probeer je gas meer in 1 positie te houden. Dus niet vol gas en weer los, maar liever half gas constant. Zo ga je 'stabieler ' door het zand en ga je makkelijker recht door. Want hoe meer snelheid je houd, hoe makkelijker het word, je kunt over gaten heen springen en vormt je eigen lijn ipv een ander z'n lijn te volgen. Succes!

Try running lower PSI in both your front and rear tires and play with your suspension. I always go a couple of clicks harder everywhere for sand. For the slowing down thing use outside lines all the time to build confidence then try the slower insides is all I can say to that.
i started to drive mx 2 moth ago had no ide how to dive noting now i have watch all these movies and test them on the track feels so mutch easy to drive and lots of more fun :D thanks this really helpt me out!
What about sandy berms with huge whoops in the middle from over twenty years of not being maintained?

that's not sandy that's hard dirt compared to what I ride on! come to flatrock and try that technique
