I bought this pattern about 3 weeks ago, then found the tutorial.
    Thank you so much.
Watched through it a couple of times.
Cut out all the pieces yesterday, then made it today, with this as a Sew a Long.
Never actually read through the pattern.
Did exactly as Jess said, including 61 clips around the base, and it worked perfectly.
I added 1.5" to the height of the large one. Turned out great.

Love it Jess thanks again for the tutorial so much easier to watch than read a pattern. Also thanks to Caroline for the pattern. Quite agree there are so many fabrics for ladies but not a lot for men.

Thanks for this! I bought the Kandou pattern as it was the best I could find to make a round bag for my granddaughter’s ipu drum (hula class). Your video is very helpful, will make some adjustments to use Soft and Stable as the drum needs protection. May also insert a firm bottom that’s separate to help with the circular sewing. Hope I’m successful. Otherwise, the pattern looks very accommodating for our needs.

I used to sew water bottle holders using the same method for my children to bring to school, except for the accent at the bottom edges and inner pockets. And made a long handle to go over the shoulder. It had been over 25 years ago! Thank you for reminding me to start making one again, a much bigger one this time 😄

So this is 3 years later. You're doing lots of clear vinyl patterns and I had mentioned in a comment how obsessed I have become with clear vinyl things and I'm trying to figure out how to make this pattern work with clear vinyl. I think I can get the bottom done but with exposed seams and bias tape. But the top I think would be tricky.

It's from Backstitch Fabrics, a group on Facebook.

Just an idea. Like your presentation(s) Many Thanks

Can I ask where do you get All your Fabrics from (Especially thru-out Lockdown) All of our Fabric shops are shut, and I dont have a Huge amount of Fabric at home,
I haven't even started your monthly challenge yet, Due to NOT having fabric to use, I would have to buy Fabric as I go for each project.

I buy almost all of my fabric online. I like to shop at Fat Quarter Shop, Fabric Bubb, Hawthorne Supply Co, various Facebook Groups...

As a former Pellon Products seller I would warn you to never adhere wovenfuse or SF101 to your fabric before adhering decovil light as it VOIDS the warranty. Decovil Light is to be applied directly to the fabric for perfect performance according to directions and warranty. No need for anything in between. :) Wovenfuse and SF101 are awesome products but interfere with Decovil adhering.

Thank you so much for this information Lisa! I had no idea! Would it be OK to apply the SF101 after the decovil light?

TBH.. I liked the final result, but you should make the video faster, 50 min too much on a bag!!
