    Hi Jessica, I live in South Africa, in Kruger National Park. I love your inspirational videos. Due to back issues I was confined to camp for 6 weeks and made over 30 of your grocery bags which everyone absolutely loves. I just wanted to say thank you for making it so easy and such fun and for your enthusiasm which is a great inspiration.

    I completely understand getting around people. We finally took a vacation trip to Gatlinburg!!! My husband never had been to the mountains and freaked when we went up to the cabins. I laughed so hard. He is a big man!! He was in awe of the mountains.

    For the card slots I used a cheap vinyl shower curtain. Works great and its thin.

    @jackyf3505 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    I used a scalpel at work for years for display work and always used a steel rule. A 6" rule (very cheap) would be ideal for the card & zipper slots so no pressure doing it freehand.
    Nowadays you can get acrylic rulers with one fine metallic edge for using a blade too. That lovely Xacto set of yours deserves a couple of nice ruler companions. 🙂

    I love making these. For the inside lining I use HTV and also use my cricut maker to cut it out. Game changer.

      You use Heat Transfer Vinyl for the inside lining?? HTV is not for sewing with.

    My Home Ec teacher in the late 70s did not teach us to secure our seams and my mom was appalled. She learned to sew in the 40s and pulling the top thread loop to the underside is how she learned, so that's what she taught me. When my home ec teacher saw me doing that, she decided then was a good time to teach everyone how to backstitch.
