I remember playing this around the time hurricane Katrina happened, my parents evacuated me and my brother to a hotel in Texas and it was our first time playing it and we stayed up all night playing not worrying if we would even have a home to go back, this game was making waves even in dark times. Glad to see Konami's bringing it back with a fresh coat of paint.

I have a voice acting background and have to say that David Hayter's performance has been such an inspiration for me since the first game. The vocal training was really tough, sometimes without noticeable results for months but actors like him and the late Kevin Conroy are a great impulse to not give up. You almost saw me as Leon in those new RE games :) Hope to hear 'Snake Eater' theme. Super kanal!

What's funny is that the difference between these two is actually far greater than this. The original ran at something like 640x480 and lacked the improvements Bluepoint made in the MGS Collection back in 2011. What an insane difference nearly 20 years makes between the two.

I might be in the minority but the game needs some post processing color correction done. I liked the greenish orangish sepiatone like color scheme the original game had. It helped ground the games setting in the 1960s for some reason to me. The way it looks now it looks they are using base unreal engine presets, it doesnt make the graphics and art style stand out from other unreal engine 5 games shown lately. But I'm genuinely impressed by the remade assets and overall lighting. It just needs a few more subtle touches I feel for it to be perfect.

This is the best game ever made imo. Best story, bosses (The End for me is the best boss in all the games I played), and stealth action. I played this when internet was not yet a thing and finished this game multiple times just to keep discovering new things for every replay. This was top of the line game, can’t wait to go through dolinovodno to rescue sokolov once more.

At last they made the head more proportionate to his body. In the original whenever snake turns his head, it looks as though his neck is missing.

It's really good they are adding some Phantom Pain mechanics to the game and improving on some. But to be honest, why is Snake's forefinger (hand holding the knife) is up like it's holding a handgun or something. I dunno I mean the game looks cool, can't wait to pre-order soon and get my hands on it.
