    I'm now at about 17 weeks pregnant and well into my second trimester of my second vegan pregnancy. As a toddler mom, finding the work-life balance can be a struggle at times, especially when I'm growing a baby inside me! Thankfully, I've been feeling a lot more energized the past few weeks, and much of my nausea and morning sickness has subsided.

    I am now 28 weeks and I have really struggled with food aversions. Normally I follow starch solution lots of veggies and potatoes but this pregnant I can’t even prepare a potato. Fruit got me though the first 16 weeks and now it’s salads. My only craving has been chickpeas -literally I can eat a whole can. . I have also found making homemade kale chips with tahini a lifesaver to get those extra calories and greens in. I am definitely giving those burgers a go tonight. They looked lovely and fingers crossed the bean loving bump loves them too. X

    You talked a lot about the "eat" and "move" part, but what about the rest?? I'm in my 3rd pregnancy now, on the way to enter the 2nd trimester, and I can't make it through the day without a nap 😴😴😴 I'm actually looking forward to having a bit more energy and come back to working out.     I had massive nausea with my son who was born with a full head of hair. I had almost none with my daughter who was born bald. Many of my friends this past year have opted for home births in which all went splendid without issues.

    A great video! For sure things come differently with each pregnancy including food lol. I know salad with my pregnancies was a no. They were winter babies and one the pregnancy was mainly during the winter to this day I do not trust a salad in the winter, but the brown rice, couscous and quinoa bowls I will do those. That’s great that you get to have your green juice I know that makes you happy so when I saw that I said alright!!!! I’m so happy for you and your family baby #2 zoomin and boomin!

    Hi Erin, did you try Mary ruth vitamins/probiotics.. They are liquid too and I think pretty good. As you mentioned you prefer liquid supplements just wondering what are your thoughts on Mary ruth products. I am also pregnant with my second child(due in June) and my toddler son is also a month older than your kiddo.. I will try your recipes too.. I got some aversion towards green things too as compared to my first pregnancy. Also I am finding it quite hard compared to first pregnancy, I am just super tired now and also taking care of toddler is quite demanding.

      I don't love Mary Ruth, just because some of the supplements seem to have too many ingredients for my liking!

    I'm in my second trimester and I'm no longer taking them daily, just a few times a week because I get a lot of nutrients from food, now that my appetite si back to normal ( also plant based diet).

      I’ve always taken B12, D3, and an omega daily, and with the prenatal you are supposed to take it 3x/day but I’ve always just taken it 1x daily since I get so much nutrition from food!

      Seed says to take it on an empty stomach first thing, about an hour before eating!

    Thanks soooo so much for this video. A few questions... I have major digestive issues but love my greens ... but I fear I struggle digesting them... :( I struggle with fats and big portions too... or too much cooked food. If you have any advice is welcomed. I also was on the Seed probiotic, but the capsules were too big for me :( I wish they had a liquid formula ... so now I have gone back to a liquid spore probiotic called LivespoColon.

      Maybe try lightly steaming your greens and see if that helps until your body adapts and adjusts. Smaller more frequent meals are better than large meals that leave you feeling weighed down, and typically high carb low fat is going to be better. High fat meals never lend well to digestion..

    This question is a little personal as many do not wish to discuss this topic, but do you vaccinate Max? I am asking because I am starting to see a shift amongst not only vegans but many non-vegans also in which more and more people are choosing not to vaccinate their kids or selectively vaccinate. No judgement either way.

    Hello I just started watching ur channel and love all the ideas and the routine I am currently 30 weeks and 2 days pregnant with my 3rd child baby girl I have a almost 7 year old daughter and a 2 year old son that I just stop breastfeeding about a week now and it's so hard to stop geting meat completely I want to know some info how to stop I more of fish and chicken I do it eat lots of fruit and vegetables but I want to cut meat out my life I try once before about 2 years ago I went for a week with out eating me and I filled that so here I am now wanting to start 2021 with fresh start of healthy lifestyle for me and my family I'm due April so I just wanna know some advice I also google as well but yes plz tell !       Congrats on your 3rd pregnancy!! My advice is to either start by making 1 meal a day vegan (smoothie or oatmeal for breakfast) and just focus on one meal a day, then 2, then finally 3. Another way would be to just focus on eliminating one type of meat at a time (chicken, fish, beef). Focus on protein and iron rich replacements like legumes (lentils are our fave), beans, whole grains, and organic soy products like tofu. :) If you'd like individual coaching, EatMoveRest.com/coaching

      I've always loosely adhered to it, but I think I've always found a bit higher fat to be more beneficial, especially for young men and women!

      Definitely search for someone locally in your area! A midwife will be much more holisitic-oriented, and a doula is amazing as a support system...someone who knows what you need and can help take the pressure off of your spouse or partner!
