I am stuck in a cycle of emotional eating. Tbh I am disgusted in what I have done to my body, feeding it junk and not taking care of it. I was never super healthy but I used to walk daily, eat some good meals and drink 2 litres of water a day, but some crappy life events have sent me into a downward spiral of bad foods, no exercise and depression. You and your family inspire me so much I hope to get out of this and live a healthy life like you.
14.5 years ago I went vegan and when I did, I was eating 99% whole foods, lots of fruits, veggies and grains. I had so much energy and clarity that I retained everything I learned, I was working out 3 times a day just because I felt so good doing it. ( hated and only exercised in gym class my whole life prior to that). My boyfriend told me his aunt said I must have been healthy because the glow and whites of my eyes. I was rarely angry, it changed my life and was and still is the best decision of my life. I do it for ethical reasons first, but if that weren't the case, the proof is in the pudding, I'd do it for my health alone, too. Due to depression from losing pretty much everyone in my immediate family, I ended up off that path (still vegan but eating processed foods, drinking way too much, not exercising) etc. It's been horrible. I found your channel again after all these years and it lit a fire inside of me once again. Thank you both! Keep doing what you're doing. I've already made progress getting the old me back.
Awe I’m so sorry for your losses and what you’ve gone through. Glad to hear you’re feeling reignited…if you need any extra oomph to get going, DM me on IG, let’s chat instagram.com/erinstanczyk🫶🏻
Fermented foods healed my gut after just 2 weeks.I was so bloated with all the beans, people asked if I was pregnant😢, now after 4 kids I am in my best shape but it doesnt come for free, need to have alot of dicipline but its all worth it❤❤❤
I love your message here Erin! One of my favorite quotes applies to making time for working out and taking care of ourselves..."If it's important to you, you'll find a way. If not, you'll find an excuse". ❤ NO BUTS! 😃
WFPB has done wonders for me as well. No matter how many times I veared away from this over the years, I have always felt better when I come home to whole food plant based eating. The natural fiber and water in and of itself has made my body (gut) function and work to its maximum potential. Movement has equally helped.
If there is one person whoms routine I wanted to know, it would be yours. You are so beautiful and you have such a relaxed and honoust personality. Thank you 💚
I LOVE you Erin! You're an amazing woman and mama 💕 You were the one who made me think "if she can do it, maybe I can too" 4 years ago when I began my WFPB journey 🎉 thank you for always being a beautiful beacon of light and encouragement ✨️
Love noticing the 'yes, but' approach! Would love love love to see more workout videos from you! My husband and I love your home workouts, especially the rounds of 3 minute exercises. Would love to see more
Love these videos! From Iowa, I'm laughing at the fact that you can hang out in your tank top right now. I'm sitting here watching in a cozy almost full length sweater 😂😂😂
lol! To be honest I always question whether or not I should throw on a sweater to be seasonally appropriate/sensitive to the fact that the rest of the nation is freezing right now.😂
😂😂 picking up he banana and just blowing on it, AND the crawling on the counter to reach the cupboards! I'm 5ft tall so I'm always climbing. Gotta do it though 💪🏼
thank you Erin for this video. I needed this encouragement to keep going with plant based when everyone else around me thinks im crazy. Also, so cool to hear about this waterless skincare/makeup line. I’d love to hear more about it! ❤❤❤
You look stunning. I hope you don’t mind me saying but your before picture you looked lovely 🥰 too. You’re so right with what you say. Thanks so much for sharing ❤❤❤xx
I have been watching you two before you added the littles. I have celiacs since I was a young child and suffer. I eat lots of raw fruits and veggies. Grains are tough for me. More Gf recipes would be helpful. Keep up the good work for whole food eating.
Thank you SO much. I truly appreciate your encouragement and inspiration. I’m not a fan of smoothies. Especially cold weather mornings. For a whole food plant based morning meal what would you eat instead of smoothies?
I love your video!!! Where you find your online exercise, do you have any recommendations? Thanks a lot ! A have a great day in Florida! I’m Canada is very cold outside in this time of the year and grey!😅
Thanks for your tips because you do look great!❤ I have wanted to add more fruits to my diet but I’m worried about increasing my blood sugar. Any thoughts or tips on how to incorporate all the fruits without the blood sugar spikes?
What about those of us that have food allergies? I am allergic to hemp, wheat, soy, corn, as well as sensitivities to oats, beans and such. Also cannot eat any raw foods it disturbs my gut. It’s hard to hear “ eat plant based” all the time knowing I will starve.
What about fruits 🍌🍉🍐🍇🍓🥭🍑🫐🍍🥥🍏🍎 and veg 🥦🫛🥑🥬🥕🥒🍆🍠🫒 Try eating things that give you a mild sensation in smaller portions to build up your tolerance to. Maybe don’t bother with wheat, soy and corn 🌽 Watch Gillian Berry, Platiful Kiki and Fully Raw Kristina. It can be done if you put in the research, work and consistency. You got this 💪🏾 no more reasons, take positive action. You’ll thank yourself for it ❤
Hmm that has got to be tough, so sorry you have to deal with all that! It sounds like perhaps some type of cleanse or fast, like a juice fast, would be helpful to restore gut health and function. Try to avoid anything that’s processed and buying organic will be critical (regardless of if you plant-based or not)!
Hi Erin, Thank you for your wonderful videos and inspiration. I am curious - how do you get up to 3000 calories on smoothie, salad and soup/stew? Thank you :)
Even though I follow this framework I am still eating fruit and things like oats/homemade muffins in between meals esp since I am breastfeeding. Typically my morning smoothie is about 600cal, salad is about 400-500, dinner is anywhere from 800-1000. So when you factor in the in-between meals it’s about 2800-3000! If I weren’t breastfeeding it’s usually around 2500. Even though I am not counting calories meticulously, I am calorie conscious and always recommend everyone to educate themselves on caloric density of the foods they’re eating by using the Cronometer app about once a month to check in and make sure they’re getting what they need and eating the right amount!💚
@@EatMoveRest Thank you! this helps immensely. I really appreciate you taking the time to write such a thorough response . Your 'Yeah but' talk really shifted something in me today and I got my workout in, even though it meant being a toddlers tunnel/jungle gym at the same time. Many blessings to you and your beautiful family 💛
Hi Great video 👍❤️ I have two questions one is can you recommend a budget friendly juicer that works really well? And second what are your thoughts on tofu? Because I like to eat protein with my fruits, veggies and whole grains! I like to choose beans, tofu and occasionally processed vegan protein sources like high protein yogurt and mock meats, Thank you ❤
Hi Erin! Thanks for the video. I’m almost 7 weeks pregnant - first pregnancy - and I don’t know how to train and what is still safe! I’m lean and fit, I Tran usually 3/4 times a week and teach cross fit in the gym. I stopped cross fit as I got pregnant because my doctors said it would be too high impact for the baby. I don’t know what I can do anymore. Out of weights and pilates, can I go on the eclipse trainer or also called cross trainer? I usually used it, but I measured my gear bit and I go over 160 bpm… is that healthy for the baby? As I said, this is my first pregnancy and I’m lost. I wanna train and be strong but not harm the baby…. Also I’m felling great, for now no nausea just very tired and brain fog and sometimes cramps in the lower areas… THANKS FOR HELPING! ❤
That’s a great question! Honestly I didn’t change anything with my exercise except I stopped doing things like core exercises or anything laying on my tummy (obviously)! I was still able to do HIIT, lifting, teach spin and barre classes, and distance running…as time went on, I just dialed back the intensity in most areas but kept doing the same things! The main thing is listening to your body and what feels good to avoid injury, etc!
When do you feel you saw most results after switching to plant based? I've been plant based for 2 months, and although I love how great I feel, I don't see that I've lost as much fat as I would've liked
I have a really odd question for you but I’m so curious. Can you sometime show how you twist up your hair on top of your head? I know it sounds silly but yours always looks so good. I’m wondering if you use hair pins or clips of some sort to get it to hold. I may be the only person interested but if you feel like sharing what product you use to hold it in place I’d love to know. I do this with my hair and use a scrunchie type thing but it doesn’t like anywhere as good as yours.
Such a great place to start, to start questioning things! And then, just know that you can change your microbiome, that means you can change what you crave. But anything worth having in life comes with some hard work and sacrifice. You can do it!
great video with a very targeted message. especially the sentence: are you honest with yourself? the basis of smoothie, salad and stew are very helpful. although we still have to figure out how to lose weight... but then we wonder. we are honest with ourselves. 🫣🙏🥰

A book called “the yoga of eating” helped me so much with this.
You are not alone!
😢 Same here I feel you xx
@SianYu1 "Defeat Your Cravings" - might help you. Lots of free options and podcast. Also a great book.
Support to you ❤

I’ve been stuck at 157 lbs to 160 lbs since July after dropping 30 lbs in 4 months. It’s been so frustrating!
One other question are you following workouts on TH-cam? If so who are your favorites?
They have mentioned heather robertson before!

Can ask ? So many carbs? Diabetic? Can ?
Hi Erin! How heavy of weights do you lift for arms and legs??
As a 57 year old menopausal woman I have gained weight in the plant based diet
Any advice?
Aside from gym sesh, do you try to get a certain amount of steps?! I’m a mama too but just curious:)
When do you feel you saw most results after switching to plant based? I've been plant based for 2 months, and although I love how great I feel, I don't see that I've lost as much fat as I would've liked

Agreed!
I have been trying to eat vegan for awhile now and riding my bike daily but I am not noticing any weight loss. It feels discouraging 😢
Did you start this diet when you were a teenagers, or just using a pic from that era?
How are you dealing so well with the election results? Any advice for those of us who are struggling?
I love those leggings! Where do you get your.colourful leggings from?
They are Beyond Yoga! I also love Lululemon, Athleta, and Vuori
