    Both of my children were born naturally at home with a midwife. Educated yourself by reading a few books so you know what to expect. Trust your body and you will do great! After the baby arrives you will be so proud of yourself!!

    Me toooo!!! I am 11 weeks pregnant, and I had this huge vision of how healthy I will be during my pregnancy, but no. I was fine with greens, but vegetables EWWW, fruits EEWW.. For fruit I would only stomach citrus, everything else tasted so off. Melon was the worst. I have always been a veggie person, but the thought of an aubergine or a zucchini still makes me feel uneasy. I never liked bread or pasta, but I swear I have been living on refined carbs. MmMm rice. I feel so guilty about it, but I take my vitamins, and it's better than skipping meals. It's so strange, I've always been a passionate foodie, and am just not into cooking. I also go from zero to starving in ten minutes... My husband is preparing most meals. Pregnancy is sooo weird.

    Thanks for sharing your journey. I’m a 40 year old high raw vegan considering making the leap into motherhood while I still can. Hearing about other high raw pregnancies is reassuring that it can be done! 💗

    I’m so glad you are feeling better. The first trimester stinks. I used the sea bands for nausea. They helped a little. I took natural prenatals the first 6 weeks and they messed up my digestion so bad. The doc said I could just take my Juice Plus and my digestion has been great since!

      That's so awesome that you were able to do well without the prenatals! I don't love the idea of taking them...but I'm taking such a small dose anyways....

    I love this video. My first child, I wasnt vegan but I'm pregnant now and we have been vegan for 3 years. My son is vegan as well. Any tips wpuld be awesome!!!

    Be careful with essential oils. I both sell do Terra and am studying to be a certified aromatherapist. Some oils are ok, but some oils are contraindicated for pregnancy. So glad you're doing well!

    LOVE the video update, so raw and I appreciate your realness. I think you have the nutrition aspect down, I think it's also JUST as important to focus on the mental preparation for giving birth. I can tell you have a lot of nerves about the whole process. Just remember that humans are the only animals that medicate themselves for the birthing process, which tells me it's not truly needed (minus emergent cases). If you work on the mental aspect I think you will do an amazing job in giving a natural birth. Thank you for sharing your story, it's very brave of you. xoxo ❤

    Congratulations!!! I am a doula and my 2cents is do what makes you feel secure. Whether it's a home birth, midwife hospital birth or ob hospital birth. Read birthing from within. I just love that book. You might have also heard of Ina May Gaskin books. Good luck!!!

    even if you are past the nausea, keep in mind that your tastes may change during the entire pregnancy....when I was pregnant, I put hot sauce on just about everything....i had not eaten it much before my pregnancy and rarely eat it now 21 years later :)

    I used twinnings lemon and ginger tea throughout to avoid caffeine and soothe the belly/aid in digestion;) I’m sure you could easily make your own as well!!!

    I’m vegan and pregnant now and stumbled across this video. I wanted to find out if any one else was finding greens repulsive, also not having much symptoms other than sore breasts and on and off queezieness.

    Hi Erin! I’ m happy you start to feel better with nauseas and digestion, don’t worry to much about nutrition, the way we eat is just so so much better than the majority of women and foetus get to eat prior to us so yours won’t miss on anything he need’s to develop and grow healthy! For my first pregnancy ( June was born in february 2012) I found that ginger really helped a lot with nausea, i had it infused in hot water and drank liters of it! For my second pregnancy ( Robin was born in June 2015) ginger made one more time wonders for me, but this time i just had it grated in chilled water! What about finding a sweet little name to give baby in your videos until you find out its gender?! June was « ladybug » and Robin was « peanut » don’t judge loved this names! Great memories for life! Looking back i’ m glad i didn’t listen to much to people around and just trusted myself. I wish you the best, take good care of you! Gwen, Alsace, France

      Thank you so so much for this helpful advice, Gwen! I have tried ginger tea and used to drink it every night but since becoming pregnant I can’t take it! I have been disguising ginger root in my smoothies though! Thank you for reminding me not to worry too much about nutrition, it helps to hear! :) I LOVE the idea of coming up with a nickname for Baby S...I will do some thinking!🙏☺️❤️

    I was curious what guide you use to set your individual vitamin and mineral amounts per day on Cronometer?

      Nina Egenreider I just left them as is and did custom 80:10:10 for macronutrient targets to reflect high carb low fat...is there something more I should know to be doing?

      EatMoveRest, I changed all of mine because, I'm a type 2 diabetic, overweight, fair skinned, past menopause and have had my gall bladder removed. I follow Dr T. Colin Campbell, Dr michael Greger, Dr. Esselstyn and Dr. Andrew Saul. Upon what I learned, the presets are off on Cronometer, for even a normal healthy person. Whoever you trust, change the preset quantities to fit you and your pregnancy. I'm a huge fan of Vitamin C. See www.doctoryourself.com/pregnancy_lactation.html
      My daughter in-law has a 2 year old and is now pregnant with twins, 35 wks along. She takes 6,000 to 8,000 mg of Vit. C and doing great! She is not WFPB or vegetarian (I'm working on that, lol). I know you get a lot of Vit. C, due to what you eat, but the Cronometer doesn't even come close to these values. That's just an example, that can make it look like you got 100% but that's not enough. Just something you should consider and read up on for your individual health, cronometer doesn't know you. 😊

    Great video👍 Get ready to know love like you've never known love before! It's such a joy to be a mom, seriously. Stay positive don't listen to people's scary stories they can't help but tell. If your scared at all about giving birth I would google Byron Katie or TH-cam and do what she calls ’the work’. It's helped me so much, for everything. Keep the videos coming💗
