Hey everyone, hope you like this video. Had this beast on pre-order for what felt like a very long time (the wait was killing me lol) This is just a quick unboxing of the card and all the bits that come with it. I will be paying this thing off for quite awhile Hoping it performs well and lasts. Thanks for taking the time to check the video out!
@@PranKzTa terms of coil whine typical asus its there but low usage dies down while gaming i use headphones. Doesnt dissuade me thought still beast of card
@saitamamako7949 Nice, I have not pushed the card yet, but with the couple of games played like Suicide Squad and Robocop, it's just the fans kicking in I hear. Same also using headphones 99% of the time 😃
I have the standard tuff gaming 4080. I've never seen it go ubove 63 degrees in any game and it has a constant boost clock of 2750mhz. Very good cards. Be interesting to see yoir results
Will let you know, first impressions are amazing, sits at around 28-30c when not playing games, the couple of games tried, suicide squad and Robocop it hardly moved and went up to around 34-35c. Playing hell divers and Dragon's Dogma 2 later today so will see what these games do 😅, thanks for the comments and glad you loving your 4080 as they are not cheap are they was looking at that Tuff one as well, nice card also.
I have just got the Msi 4080 Super Suprim X my card idles between 28-30•c also when gaming on Warzone it doesn’t go over 50•c 2880mhz I was really considering the Rog Strix version
Hey, thanks for the unboxing video. I wanted to ask you, why did you go with the RTX 4080 SUPER ROG Strix OC and not the MSI Gaming RTX 4080 Super 16G SUPRIM X? I would really love to hear your opinion. Thanks!
Hey, Was more due to last card was MSI and wanted to try different brand. Both cards are built very well, This card design also goes better with my PC build. Thanks for the comment
Hi, I just bought this card. The decision was based on the branding, which matches some of my other components, and also this card is one of the quietest and coolest (temps) versions you can buy. There is a price premium though.
@paulwilson9807 I hope this new card serves you well. Why didn't you wait for Black Friday to make the purchase? I am planning on buying this card as well, but I think there might be a deal or a discount close to BF season. What do you think?
Hey, thanks for the comment. If you have a 3090TI, I would say no, I don't think it would be worth the swap. Your card is a beast, and the performance difference will be minor, if any at all. If I had a 30 series card, I would be waiting for the 50 series or even the 60 series cards before I upgrade again. The only reason I went with the 40 series cards was because I was still on a 2080 Super. But hey, if you have the funds to spend and it's more for liking how the card looks, then the performance , go for it. Personally, I would wait!

I still have my rog strix 4090 OC no melted cables so far and going strong
Nice, that's very good to hear 👍 after installing the card, and seeing the adapter in person 😀 it doesn't look too bad. Thanks for the comment.

@saitamamako7949 nice, OK now I am hoping the ones that come with the cards don't have issues anymore lol 😆

Ha ha i thought my temps were low 🤣 be interested to hear what your card boosts to. Its an improvement over the 4080 and has a higher base clock

I’m not sure if you play warzone or mw3 but could you maybe do a video on it I’m curious to see how the Strix does compared to the Suprim X

Thanks. Why on earth would I wait 3 months for a product that might not even be discounted? The RoGS often sell out too
Great gpu, I currently have an msi suprim x 3090ti and was considering this card. Do u think it would be a worthwhile upgrade? Thanks for sharing!
