Love this type of video, pure atmosphere, your music is awesome. My first experience with Elite was the second game on an Amiga 1200 in the early 90s, It doesn't feel that long ago. crazy how much time has past.
@@scottjgray83 I'm a veteran from the 1984 Elite. You are right, it is crazy how much time has past. Back in 84, what we have today was a dream. Thank you for the kind comment, appreciated.
may I ask just 2 questions? I never played newer than Elite2, so please forgive me to not know much about Elite Dangerous. - you said that there are many planets like this, but this is yours, since you discovered and mapped this one. What do you mean by many like this in a galaxy? - there are beautiful shots from the space, and from an airplane view, but between the two there is a cut - going up, and also going down. Why?
Elite 2 was a great game as was First Encounters after that. Elite Dangerous is, for me, in a league of it's own. Addressing your first question. Elite Dangerous has around 400 billion star Systems in it as a 1 to 1 scale simulation of the Galaxy. Many other players have found planets similar to this one. Addressing your 2nd question. The cuts were just to add a a change of pace and a different view of the Planet rather than a constant fly by view. Thanks for the comment and the questions, hope you enjoyed the video. Best Regards.
@@rayfighter thank you, glad you enjoyed it. Elite as a game gives me the opportunity to combine 2 great hobbies of mine. Gaming and synthesis. The game makes a great backdrop to create music.
@@erichuet4844 thank you so much for the kind comment. I love putting my synth music to my Elite Dangerous videos. It's like the two were made for each other.
Nice discovery. I am intrigued by what could give a planet those colors? Can you give more details on the planet? Type, composition, atmosphere, gravity etc
Here is the info you asked for. Atmosphere Type: Oxygen. Atmosphere: 100% Oxygen. Composition: 94.8% Ice, 4.5% Rock, 0.7% Metal. Gravity: 0.29G. Earth Masses: 0.1596. Radius: 4,760KM. Surface Temp: 150k-294K. Surface Pressure: 0.06 Atmospheres. Volcanism: Water Geysers. Orbital Period: 1.6 D. Semi Major Axis: 0.01AU. Orbital Eccentricity: 0.0000. Orbital Inclination: -44.88 Degrees. Arg of Periapsis: 130.68 Degrees. Rotational Period: 1.6 D (Tidally Locked). Axial Tilt: 25.02 Degrees.
Wow, it's so pink. My kid would love it, might make a visit there someday if it's not dreadfully far from the bubble.
@@Rezorrand it's about 6500 ly away. Well worth the trip.
