This is genuinely one of the most underrated videos I've ever watched. Yeah I know that gets thrown around a lot and Elite is a relatively small community, but man. The cinematography was absolutely incredible, better than literally every other music video or fan trailer I've seen, and by a good margin at that. The music is perfectly composed to fit the mood and style, and you had my attention locked to the screen for the full six minutes. It didn't even feel like two. Congrats on making a masterpiece that I will be watching over and over again.

This is an amazing watch. The angles, the shots, the pacing, the sense of storytelling, the effort this must have taken... it's just all around incredible! Probably the best Elite Dangerous music video I saw so far and definitely better than even the official trailers! I think they should reach out to you to ask to replace their trailers with this video...

only thing i can say is : the screen shake is not necessary in every shot. especially in wide shots, unless your take the hand-held zoom-in effect approach! Still nice cinematography.
Thank you Yamiks. I didn’t use it in a lot of shots though (when close to the ship, and maybe 2 wide shots). Only those which needed some dynamism in my opinion. And I personally like that handheld effect also on wide shots sometimes (when i shoot irl too).
@@Placyde no doubt like other effects , if used well can improve the look and indeed this was a good example of it. not a big fan of tone change for the colors but at least it was consistent and not overblown or overly contrast-y as if a child got the hang of the color corrector plugin
Color grading game footage is no easy task since there is quickly a lot of compression artefacts or even in-game imperfections that are not very smooth and well we are not shooting raw so there isn’t much room. But still, it’s fun to give to a very neutral looking base material a more personal mood and atmosphere. But Yeah, I am no child and no stranger to this practice fortunately! Sorry that it is not to your taste. It’s impossible to please everybody in every way. Thanks again for the feedback! o7
