    Thanks for these videos Danny! I just moved back to winsford and started fishing again. Haven’t fished since I was young. Took the kids 6 and 7 and they caught loads of roach and perch on their first trip. Used cheap whips and I must say, there isn’t a finer way to get kids fishing. Thanks for all your hard work and videos ! Big up mate!
    Ps. Just getting into piking myself:)

    Hi Danny thanks for all the great hints, tips and action!!
    Please can I ask you to do a SPECIAL on fishing for pike with regard to trace and the length of it. I spend my life unhooking deep hooked pike cause folk are using 12" trace with trebles with a low breaking strain nylon line. Personally I hate treble hooks and only use Circle Hooks with a minimum length trace of 22" on a 50lb braid. Admittedly I'm still waiting for my first double figure pike..
    If you ever fancy a spell up in Scotland I have a lovely loch to show you.

    If you were fishing a canal for pike would you fish 1 or two rods? Or would you say it depends on the experience of the angler?

    Hi mate great vid 👌 I’m a match angler but would like to have a go at pike fishing. I have a local canal that has quite a few pike in. My question is would I be better dead baiting or lure fishing ? What’s the advantages to either method and when would you choose one over the other thanks 🙏 👍

    • @johngarvey5370
      @johngarvey5370 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Winter dead bait, you can spin but they're less likely to chase. Hotter weather they're more erratic and more likely to chase the prey down. Neither have a certain advantage just what method you prefer yourself.
