Visited twice with the most recent time being a few weeks ago. Great little city just to stroll around and enjoy the calmness of it all. Plus where else can you just stumble upon a Tito statue!
Fairly new, wondering who put up the money for it.As the guy said it used to be called Titograd, reason there are hardly any old buildings about is because it was heavily bombed during WW2. Most people say Podgo.is a boring place but I disagree, you can walk around quite easily and its a green place too with parks dotted around plus the river too of course.
randomly found this video, nice content. Advice: the little transitional effects you add have a very loud audio volume compared to the rest of the video (your voice and traffic) and it blows your ears if you have headphones
@@prashantoberoi1979 depends what is your goal if you coming as tourist here you wont find much in podgorica so better stay at Budva one day is enough to explore podgorica but if you want to come as resident its totally depend on what kind of business you want to start
King Nikola is not the first Montenegrin king. The first king was Mihailo from the Vojislavljević dynasty in the 11th century. He will become king in 1078...That royal castle of King Nikola in Podgorica was not the only one, he had it in every major city and the main one was in Cetinje.
What was decided at the Congress of Berlin? The decisions of the congress, embodied in the Treaty of Berlin of July 1878, included establishment of Bulgaria as an autonomous principality that was to remain nominally under Ottoman sovereignty; recognition of the independence of Montenegro and an increase in its territory... 🙂
Nicely done! Thanks for the insight, great video.
Glad it was helpful!

Č is pronounced as CH in English, so the river is Moracha.
Thanks for video!
I visited Podgorica in 2014. It's an interesting place. It's a shame I didn't go to Cetinje though.
I read they also have no foreign fast food franchise's also... will you visited Budva or Kotor...
Correct, none that I saw but of course plenty of places sell burgers, pizzas etc so you wont starve..also chevapi and burek, ubiquitous in the Balkans.
Right now I’m in Podgorica and saw a billboard that Burger King will open a store in the city.
