    Isn't there a statute of limitations on the debt?? Credit card companies have 5-7 years in some cases! Why is he so special?? How do yoh lose contact with your lawyer in an active collections case?? 🤷🤦👵🇺🇸

    The fault here lies in the judge who dismissed the judgement to collect. Perhaps the plaintiff could go to his attorney , and collect on the previous judgement.
    Contrary to what people might think, lawyers and judges are buddies, and work with each other- ie his attorney is a judge.

      I'm not buying that he didn't know anything about what the lawyer filed. Not only that but as indicated, there is a statute of limitations. There is nothing stating that the lawsuit was filed within the statute. I think he was getting away with scamming the system at the league. He was stealing money for years and then he finally got caught and not it was not so easy for him to take money without being noticed. Of course everyone in the legal system is buddies. They golf together, they have dinner together and the case is probably already tried and settled before court. LOL

    • @vorco8120
      @vorco8120 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      They cannot collect because the previous judge had made a ruling that they are not to collect due to the plaintiff not showing up for that hearing. Which is why the previous judge dismissed the case. If you don’t show up to your own hearing that you filed then you’ve wasted the time of everyone who did show up and so it counts against whoever didn’t show up. In that first case, the plaintiff did not show up so his first filing was ruled against him.
      He most likely thought that his lawyer wouldn’t have given the club any paperwork from that case so he could collect from this case. However, lawyers always leave a paper trail when dealing major cases. Had his lawyer not given any paperwork to the club then the lawyer would’ve been caught with malpractice. So the lawyer did his job the right way by handing copies of that first case, the plaintiff probably had no clue about the copies which led to him having answered that he knew nothing about a first case. Which I’m sure is a lie. He may have not shown up for the hearing but I’m sure his lawyer had told him the outcome of that first case which he didn’t like so he tried to collect through other means. He probably went to this show without his lawyer knowing because I’m sure his lawyer would’ve told him that he would lose because the club has evidence of the previous ruling.
