Hi Carrie and Dave! Have a quick request for your Alaska series: Can you include mentioning the temperature for us? Maybe even the date of the video? Thanks for considering this-we’re heading up next summer.
Watching the video makes us wish we were back with you all- we did pick up a BC hitchhiker named Mickey that made a nest in our utensil drawer on our way to Waterton this weekend ( he's very crafty putting KC's kibble in our shoes) Can't wait to get together sooner than later for another round of Bullshit -Ron's been practicing how to hold the cards better! We didn't want the video to end (that's how much we miss you guys). Keep up with the amazing videos. Happy journey to you all.
Beautiful country up there. Thanks for sharing this with us in this video. Glad you mentioned the forest fires and to use caution and follow the rules re: campfires, etc. Enjoy your continued trip to Alaska.
Watched a video by Jumping Places on TH-cam analytics and payment. Didn’t know before, but TH-camrs get more revenue if their viewers watch all the way through the ads (or at least the first 30 seconds of an ad, I think they said). So any of your viewers can purposely add to your income by letting the ads run instead of skipping them. (Doesn’t mean we have to watch the ads. Good time to get a second cup of coffee or put some bread in the toaster imo.)
Oh my, that view at the just after the 20:00 minute mark took my breath away, and then you added those epic views in the closing for next week's video. Can't wait to see what's yet to come. Be safe and stay well.
Epic epic and epic. Thanks for taking us along. Boy has the world changed. We played REAL jarts in High School gym class. We also had archery with real arrows. In grade school we had show and tell and kids would bring in their first 4-10 shotgun. Everyone around my age agrees we have lived in a great time. Can't wait for your next video. Sure do appreciate you making these for us.
Thank you @johnnylighting1491 Carrie and Dave are such natural documentarians we forget sometimes there’s a camera (such as when I accidentally stepped on our dog KC and Roodle came to rescue him as they filmed deets about Radium) Roodle is such a great dog 🐕
Oh Carrie, I really needed this video this week. I had a really thought week sending my son to another state (for work) and I really took an emotional biting. Thanks for putting out such positive videos. ❤
+@freedomdove we just arrived into the main part of Alaska today! In Canada we saw 28 black bears and 5 grizzly bears! The grizzlies don’t have a care in the world…. They know they are top dog!
If you going near to Prince George plan a night or two weeks at Diherty Creek Recreation Site. It is only 20 kms south of downtown Prince George. It is a lovely site with a log picnic shelter, many level sites all with picnic tables and furepits. Two clean pit toilets. Horse corrals and trails, Dougherty Creek of course and a lovely wheelchair accessible trail alongside the Creek. Next door is the Snowmobile Club/ATV. You will hear some atv traffic, usually only as they head out on miles of trails and when they return. You are likely to see horses and riders ho out onto the trails as well. It is an exceptionally beautiful free camp.
Outstanding work on this video! Phenomenal drone footage, amazing views, and beautiful mellow guitar music. What an incredible trip you are having. The parts of Canada you are traveling through are so beautiful. I am thoroughly enjoying your journey. Safe travels...and Roodle, no more getting $#!£ faced, lol.
The glacier on the Parkway north of Banff used to come right up to the highway about 50 years ago. Also too late for your trip up, but if you return the same way, check out Athabaska Falls, a short drive south of Jasper. I know you will be very impressed
Looks like Roodle isn't a rock hound. I knew a Goldie that actually put her entire head underwater to retrieve stones. And somehow found the stone that was tossed in amongst the others covering the lake bottom. Potholes, I'd say! I just love your hat Carrie, the bling and ears suits you well. Looking forward to next week. What a great still of Roodle running.
Welcome to our backyard, yes the Columbia ice field drive is among the most scenic in the world…. Looking forward to your next vid. P.s. brown bears are not the same as Grizzly’s…. Brown are “ tame” like black bears compared to the grizzly.
Hallo to both of you. So, excited to follow you on your way to Alaska as I am hoping to go next year, from Europe via Halifax. Could you please tell me when this was filmed? That would be very helpfull for my own planning.
Why did I think you two were traveling to Alaska alone? How did those few patrons luck out to get to go with you? Must be hard for the solo travelers to do all of that driving.
Diggs breed in notorious for eating cow pies and bird poop. While we are out hiking he will sometimes roll in dead animal remains. Just makes for more bath time in Lynn's fancy claw foot tube which he loves.
Hi Carrie and Dave. We are heading out of tok. If we run into you we would like to share what we have seen. Heading toward Watson lake going to Fort Nelson. Kim and Jerry. June 12, 2024

Which ON-X are you using, there are 3 variations. What's the cost of the app?

Maybe you guys can reach the 70th parallel by June 23rd and watch the Sun stay above the horizon for 3 days without setting .
I was reading online that non-Canadian citizens are supposed to pay $10 / night.
Where? Both locations had no way of paying anywhere. Who would you pay it to? If that is the case, I’d like to pass along the correct information😃
