Well done as always, Josh and Pops! I'm liking these "Best of" highlights of your favorites from the longer trip videos. It's great to hear Pops doing narration too...such a nice voice! Thanks for sharing your adventures with us!❤
April 2024, access to the bridge was closed, the entire loop, there was no issue with snow so I'm not sure for how long. To see everything, travel the Alcan after mid-May, when campsites, visitor centers and museums are open for the season and the sign post forest/falls trail aren't icy/slushy from snow! However, if you do go in April... McClintock Bay's Swan Haven is open and the trumpeter/tundra swans are there in hundreds! Swan Haven is 30 minutes from Whitehorse (before Whitehorse). I drove early April for a specific reason, but will do the drive again, in late May/early June. I also want to do it Delta Junction-Dawson Creek because I noticed most of the best turnoffs were on the outer lanes! Whitehorse was awesome, I stayed three days there and all the museums were open. The Beringia Interpretive Center was amazing. In Delta Junction, was that massive mosquito there by the visitor's center?
Josh and Pops, you guys are absolutely phenomenal.🎉*** You should be doing travelogs, and documentaries, beyond this channel. You ALWAYS nail what's important to see, the background of the area(s), and highlight all the essentials, etc... of the region(s). Thank you, for the 5🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 videos, time after time. 🏡🙏🏻🛣🚘🛥🛩
Seriously i am so excited that i found your channel. I cant wait to watch all the videos over and over again. You are living my dream. Thank you for sharing these views and all the info with all of us. Also you have such a soothing voice. I could listen 24/7. I laughed so hard at Pops comment on getting to see things and becoming obnoxious lol you guys are the best ....so much fun.😊
You have no idea how blessed you are ( figure of speech) as i figure you do know 😊 that you have a "pops" that says "let's do it!" Whenever you suggest another road trip.... my gosh the world would be such a better place if EVERYONE could experience that ❤
We would 100% agree that we are blessed! To have the relationship, time, and resources to do these trips is not something we take for granted. We are very thankful!
Through my Lens, I did this solo from northern IL back in '84, when it was still 30% gravel. What a memorable trip. I remember Muncho Lake to this day, though my first night was at the Pink Mtn. campground. While on the subject of Kluane N.P., this is worth mentioning: UNESCO has pointed out that starting near Gulkana just outside the west edge of Wrangell-St. Elias N.P., it’s possible to travel through Kluane N.P., B.C.’s Tatshenshini (tat-shen-SHE-knee) Provincial Park, and Alaska’s Glacier Bay N.P. in an unbroken string of wilderness and icefields around 550 mi./885km. long. Tok is a weird name. I read in Milepost back in '84 that it comes from Tokyo Camp, one of the construction camps during the building of the AK Hwy. during WW2, which eventually became a town.
Get video. You are good with the camera. The first time I drove it was the end of April in 1979. Many places went even open yet so we had only a few stops. We did it in 2013 and spent over a week. The road was gravel in 1979.
We drove the highway last year and in 2017! Planning a return trip next year. We have been to most of the stops you listed, but missed a few...next year!
As far as living in, owning a house etc. what would be your top three states to live in? Not just beauty considered but cost-of-living crime everything... maybe you could make a video on it
Some suggestions from Local. Atlin BC Also Watson Lake airport. WW2 erra. Lots of great photos from the great airlift to supply Russia with aircraft. Also amazing freewildlife museum besides the Teslin reseurant
I lived in the Yukon and Alaska for 20 years, and here I (and everyone else I ever knew up there) thought the Alaska highway ended in Fairbanks. Interesting how history gets rewritten. Ah well, live and learn.
Narration is too fast because you're reading a script. In your other videos you talk and show where you are and it's more leisurely and gives more the sense of being there while watching it. You could break this up into a mini-series that would be more fun to watch. I have a question about how your wives handle this... don't they want to come too?
drove that road three times from north florida to fairbanks 4300 miles what a trip
I love when you and pop both narrate the videos you can hear the confidence in his voice!
Thanks for watching!

I absolutely loved that trip and route! One of my very favorites!!
Everything looks just breathtaking! Great video, Josh and Pops 😁🙌🏽
Very informative overview of the Alaska Highway--your Dad did an awesome job of narration. Thank you!!

A dream to drive to (and in) Alaska. Thought I might be able to do it this summer, but it's not gonna happen. Maybe next year.
It was fun to see all the places I went to in 2007. I love Watson lake, whitehorse, the desert and so many blue lakes.
Gorgeous, I'm in awe Thanks for sharing Josh and Pops
Well done! Thank you! I did this in 2007, starting in Fairbanks, then down to California and Nevada. What a trip! Unforgettable 👍🤜🤛
Between our two journeys in 2015 & 18 we saw several of those places going to Alaska. Nice video you made.
Wonderful Video Alaska, Thanks you
This channel reminds me of Ozzy and Jack's World Detour in the best ways. So good to see wholesome father-son adventures.
Wonderful video and Alaska!! Thanks.

Great information! Thanks
Thanks for sharing......
I’m thinking about doing this road trip this year. Were there hotels along the way and did you have to make reservations? Thinking in September
Beautiful

I love your videos, they are incredible amazing, but for this particular trip did you guys rent an RV? Can it be done in a regular car?

Luv ya content Hollywood ain’t got nothing on ya!
The google map seems to only have the Sign Post Forest and nothing else in it ?
