Love the view of Denali at mile 78 Parks highway. Great shot of fireweed too. That particular scene is super special as my daughter lives down the road you see on the left. We were there this summer and saw the mountain many times.
so happy you enjoyed your visit to Denali, what was then called Mt McKinley NP. During college (a long time ago) I worked two summers there for the concessionaire contracted to NPS . Every I day drove 40" school busses and 15 passenger vans along the entire 85 mile route along Eielson Pass to mile marker 92 end of the road and back to park base. We saw grizzly, moose, caribou, wolf, lynx, ptarmigan and everything in between on a daily basis. It was one of the best things I've ever done and paid for college. Thank you for the memories!
WOW! Denali is spectacular -then ice house and hot spring. WOW. Thanks y'all (who knew coca cola could explode) 🤷🤗 I love watching your videos, may God watch over y'all and keep you safe & healthy 🙏🙏❣️❌⭕, Iris and Little One 👋🐾
How fantastic to actually see Denali. I had no idea the clear days were so few. Roodle was looking at you like, What are you doing in there Mom? Thanks again for sharing all this beauty with us!
Such beautifully filmed scenery with the wildflowers framing the foreground 😊. Thanks so much for sharing these fun adventures. You know, I've never seen Roodle so happy as he's been on this trip. In every video he's like a puppy just having a blast. It's just really stood out to me, and makes me smile. Safe travels. 🍂🥰🌾♥️🌾🤗🍂
Roodle really likes having the extra people to give him attention and more ball playing. I also bought treats for every van... He knew that no matter what van he went to he was getting a small treat. He made his rounds every day...lol
It is! You know I (carrie) cannot pass up a hotspring! Dave usually does not go for the colored light theme (he likes the more natural settings) but he really enjoyed the ice house.
+@tacrewgirl it was a great view. Steve (the red van with us ) took a flight from talkeetna viewing Denali and landing on a glacier! He had the most amazing views on a super blue clear day!
Not to take away from your awesome video, but just curious if the guy with the Winnebago Solis has a social media page? I would like to see more on his set up. I have the same van and looking at doing more mods.
Not that I know of. Steve is Mr Gadget man....at least this is what we nicknamed him. I might have a small glimpse of his van coming up where he talks about his van. If you are interested in more details after that I will reach out to him.
Dave did his fishing in Homer. We didnt film that actual fishing as it was a charter boat and it gets awkward when filming other people cannot get out of the shot if they choose not to be on camera. Plus, it is so much work to film that it sometimes takes away from the experience and I just wanted Dave to enjoy himself. We do have a video coming up where he caught his first every Arctic Greyling.
+@having-fun-while-i-can great question! I don’t know🤷♀️ if I was there you know for sure I would all over that camera or lens. Dave says it was a video camera. I’ll ask Darren, he travels with us and was on the bus, he might know!
Dave did you know that you, as a former Coast Guard that you can get a FREE military pass for the National Parks for the U.S. and it will get you AND your spouse in for FREE for the daily fees to ANY NATIONAL PARK in the U.S.?

+@susankelty4814 that is so cool! The bus trip was one of Dave’s highlights of Denali! He soaked up all the info that was shared!
That sunset was epic. Glad you got a good view of Denali.
Looks like the rainy season for sure....still beautiful. Happy Trails 🐕
July, August and September were very rainy.... I had no idea
Magical stuff for sure!

We got to see Denali a few times....it is a magnificent mountain! I was impressed that roodle was able to pinpoint where I was at.

Stayed in Talkeetna in 2015 for 5 days over July 4th. Saw Denali clear everyday. What a treat.
Talkeetna was a neat little town!
Beautiful and interesting! Thank you!
We were so excited to see Denali!! It was such a beautiful day.
15:08 ooh hot springs jets, an icy martini glass with northern lights? That would be soaking on a whole new level ♨️
+@colleenronkc yes! Still liked Laird better!
Wow, what a fun place you found! Gotta put that one on my list for sure!

Great video. I like the view of Denali from the Susitna River in Talkeetna at the beginning of the video.

@@oneadVANtureatatime it looks like you guys had a great time. We still have it on the list to go. Lol
I'll ask. What kind of camera is the bus lady using to get that great close up video of wild life. 🤔
