For the sully entry, at first I was upset that Mike isn't included in the name or more integral in the moveset, but then I realized they have the perfect joke for that: *fighter reveal trailer for sully *Mike only shows up as a projectile in one of Sully's specials *cut to mike and sully watching Mike: "I don't believe it..." Sully: "sorry, mike, I- I asked them to make you a bigger part of the-" Mike: "...I'm in a fighting game!!!"
I disagree about The Simpsons being too “adult” for a Disney game. They’ve had no issue doing crossovers with Disney stuff, and The Simpsons is very tame compared to Family Guy or American Dad, two shows I don’t think Disney would market with their branding. Plus The Simpsons is no stranger to marketing merch to kids.
I agree that it's much less adult than Family Guy or American Dad, but as I mentioned in the video, those crossovers are always on the Simpsons' home turf, never outside. You'll never see Bart or Homer show up in a Disney-branded product, because the two just are so different from a core audience perspective. Plus, by keeping acquisitions out, it allows us to be more creative with our choices. Sometimes, limiting the scope can breed creativity.
52:05 As an Owl House fan, Luz being playable is definitely a good choice. Like an elements-controller. For her "super" state/final smash, you could use her Titan form.
I'm imagining he gets added in at a later date and his trailer is him getting so upset at the characters destroying his hotel that he just stands up and throws hands by the power of too angry to die.
Imagine the main antagonist of arcade mode is a corrupted wishing star, and the ending is different for each character. Gaston can wish for Belle to be his wife. Ursula can wish to be the Queen of the Seas. Elsa can wish her parents back to life. Perry can wish for Phineas and Ferb to know his secret, without being relocated. Bill Cipher can wish for to be ruler of all reality. Mickey wishes for a picnic with all of his best friends, completely undisturbed by evildoers or distractions.
Ideas for fighters: Pete - Honestly, Pete would be perfect for a beginner version of a Heavy-Weight, plus he's THE antagonist of Mickey Mouse (Not counting Mortimer or Mad Doctor, we'll get to that) I'd imagine like Mickey he would take attacks from his long tenure. Plus it would be funny to have Pete Pan, Little Pete and Petetronic as costumes. Mortimer - Speaking of which, Who wouldn't want to punch this guy in the face? Having a trickster with annoying antics would be funny. Also the "HA CHA CHA" spam would be hilarious. Sensei (Club Penguin) - Despite technically not being prime Disney, I can see a Stance-based moveset focus on Card Jitsu (Fire, Water, Snow) where his attacks and stats change based on the element. Herbert (Club Penguin) - Having him operate some machine like a mech would be cool, plus you can't have enough villains. Zurg - Another villain pick, plus wold be a cool rep for the Buzz Lightyear TV series. Ideas for Stages: Wasteland - Would be perfect for Oswald's (Though technically could be a Mickey Rep too) Rep stage. The gimmick being Paint and Thinner occasionally creating/destroying platforms would be cool. Dojo (Club Penguin) - A basic changing stage like Pokemon Stadium that would switch bewteen Fire, Water and Ice, would be Sensei's rep stage, Nightmare Realm - Perfect for Bill's Rep stage. It would change into any stage at random, and just be chaotic in general. A Final Destination-like Stage - I mean, this IS a Smash-clone, you gotta have one for the try-hards. Honestly I don't know what it would be based on. Probably make it KH themed, since that game is already a crossover. Mad Doctor's Castle - A castle full of spooky traps and dangers, though Haunted Mansion also fits that bill. Fix it Felix Jr. - Think of Wrecking Crew or Tomidachi life. Plus it's literally Ralph's home. Ideas for Bosses: Clocktower (Epic Mickey) - One of the most iconic bosses in the game. You would attack his hands and have to destroy both similar to the Thinner route of Epic Mickey. Mad Doctor (Mickey Mouse [Epic Mickey/Mickey Mania]) - Another Mickey Rep, he's just too iconic to leave out. Have him operate a machine or something. Doofensmirtz (Phineas and Ferb) - You have Perry, so Doof as a boss is perfect. Mic. Ideas. - Ralph would be unlock-able with the justification that he "accidentally" ended up in the wrong game. - Mickey would have a Brush as a special. - Donald would technically Rep the same "series" as Scrooge and Darkwing as opposed to Mickey. Kinda like how Yoshi reps the Yoshi Series. - One of Stan's alts would make him look like Ford, as they are not only twins but that's literally how Stan beat Bill Cipher.
This is one of the best Disney platform fighter roster I have seen yet, if I were to expand it or make it in my own, I would have included Anne and Marcy (my all time favorite Disney character) from Amphibia and scratch and Molly from the ghost and Molly McGee, but still a fantastic roster
The assist trophies speaks for itself. Characters like Airbud and Tinker Bell can show up after being summoned. Stitch's cousins can replace the Poké-Balls.
And for Toy Story, the Pizza Planet Aliens could use a flying version of the claw machine from their iconic scene in Toy Story 3, (similar to the Arcade Bunny in Smash Bros. Ultimate) as well as the Bucket O’ Soldiers being used as assist characters that slowly drain the opponent’s health as they latch onto them, referencing the scene from the first movie where they latched onto Woody angrily.
I personally think if Disney were to make a fighting game, it would be in a similar fighting style like Injustice God's Among Us and it would be called Disney Magical Melees. @jaydenhurley1744 Personally, I would love to include her in the roster because we did see Ariel use Prince Eric's sword at the start of the Little Mermaid 2. But overall, it's unlikely because in the original film, she has combat issues on land due to her being a mermaid. As a human, she wasn't established to have combat skills. Even if she did in the film, it wouldn't make sense because she just got her legs and she had to get used to them (and less we talk about the 2023 remake the better).
@@jonnyboy4289 Perhaps have her be like previous Disney game mechanics or features that make some form of water that travels with her and utilize water based elemental attacks or even using a weapon similar to the trident. Using the trident to conjure up a way to travel on land like that one Disney mobile game, “Socerrer’s Arena”Just to make sense that the water travel could be humorous and justified for a character we would love to see in a battle game or not. It’s all an idea that could work if approached and executed correctly.
Of course Woody and Buzz would have to be there, seeing how they came from one of Pixar’s most popular and influential movies of all time (Toy Story), and Jessie could possibly be added as an alternate clone for Woody.
This is a project I wanna do myself when I eventually make videos and you have an interesting roster. Only thing I disagree on is that Minnie *would* absolutely throw hands, she's really quick to snap lmao. Also in one of Sully's victory animations, it has to have Mike Wazowski with him only for Mike to get covered up by your opponents' clapping
To be fair, I haven't seen a huge amount of Minnie stuff since I was a kid, where I would say she was a bit more reserved. As for your idea for Sulley's victory animation - absolutely, I love it. Keep that joke going, because it's funny every damn time it happens.
Ok, if anything, Elizabeth Swann should have the tipper and captain jack should have uniform hitboxes. Elizabeth is much more precise and thoughtful in how she goes about everything, Jack is more one to swing wildly and hope it works
I'm a simple man. I see a Disney fighting game video, I watch. But seriously, this is a great lineup of combatants. There's a healthy mix of Disney divisions, from the animated classics and live-action properties, to Pixar and Muppets, to Hyperion Books and the theme parks. Yes, Percy Jackson is a Disney character before the Fox acquisition came into place, meaning he fits here from a business perspective more than previously imagined. Also, a House of Mouse stage being the place for NPC cameos is a great idea, but I'm kinda bummed we never got a 100 Acre Wood stage. Yes, I know about your rule with "no pacifists" excluding even Tigger from the battle, but a mere cameo would not suffice for one of the most marketable Disney franchises in the company's history. Now, if I could suggest characters...there isn't that much that you haven't already covered. You even put out a section at the end for those you scrapped from the lineup, like Pete or John Silver. However, if this game has an option to play the soundtrack, like how Smash Ultimate does on the Switch, we NEED Hellfire in the playlist. That is all.
I kinda disagree on Dipper not being willing to throw down. The kid has thrown hands in a few episodes probably even more than Mable I’d say. Plus while a villain Roster is fun I feel like a Pixar Pack would be more fitting and add better diversity. Other than that though the roster looks solid, I love that my Boi Oswald got in.
@ I could see Dipper sorta intentionally (or unintentionally) using some of the weirdness and anomalies of Gravity falls. The Gnomes, Size changing flashlight, the multi-bear for his super move, and maybe also that magnet gun Stanford and him used when exploring the crashed UFO. Perhaps a special of him using the copy machine to make clones of himself similar to the Melon Stevens in Multiverses. He’d be a fighter where his physical attacks are pretty pathetic but his specials make up for it, making clones, changing his size or the fighter’s size, and using anomalies to keep a distance like the socially awkward pre-teen he is. Plus if that’s still not enough you could always pair him with Mable so they work as a duo fighter like Ren & Stimpy and fill any remaining moves with her and her iconic grappling hook. But best case scenario they act like Catdog or the Powerpuff girls where they work in unison but you can switch who is leader. That’s just my take anyway.
This was actually pretty darn good. Well done. I'm merely sad Treasure Planet didn't get any proper representation. Captain Amelia could've been a good choice, a non-pirate naval pic who could be a glass cannon sorts, lots of range, lots of speed, lots of rushdown... but man, would be be light in weight and thus defense. In a way she'd have some of the best aspects of Fox McCloud/Wolf O'Donnel and Bowser Koopa for combat kit only not able to take as many hits.
I wanted a Treasure Planet stage, but I had so many boat stages already. Amelia seems like a cool pick though, definitely prime for a sequel video if I ever did one

This is such a good roster,the only characters I would have swapped out would have been Oogie Boogie with Facilier and Raya with Luisa or Mirabel from Encanto,but beside that this is the best Disney roster I have ever seen.
Darkwing Duck as well as Goliath would be my MAINS in this game. I also have some ideas for other Disney Afternoon characters if they were to enter the fray: Negaduck - I mean, just because he's Darkwing Duck's evil twin doesn't mean he should be an Echo Fighter. He would probably have some devastating jabs with some punches and brutal kicks plus an eyepoke, he'd probably use his chainsaw, shotgun, bombs, machetes, and other deadly weapons in a lot of specials. For his big final attack, he summons the Bushroot, Quackerjack, Liquidator, and Megavolt and send them over to beat the opponent up while he finishes them off via pulling a switch by shocking them until they cartoonishly explode. Demona - I could see her pretty much being the same as Goliath except she has a particle beam cannon and also has ranged magic attacks. Her final attack would probably consist of her flying down and knocking the opponent into a wall as she then using the stone talisman to freeze them into stone as she then blasts them to bits. Megavolt - He could work like Pikachu except he has guns and also shoots fingers from his finger tips which could be neat for shocking opponents or giving them a quick stun. His final attack would be him blasting you into a magnet which brings a bunch of metal objects flying towards you as he laughs maniacally, as he SHOULD because he's a funne evil rat. Bonkers - Bonkers would probably play like Peacock from Skullgirls with the massive amount of cartoon shenanigans that are at his side and also maybe even could use some cop things in his moveset like cuffing the opponent but you accidentally cuff yourself too. His final attack would be him chasing down the opponent with his partners, Lucky Piquel and Miranda, and having them all crash comically onto the opponent where Bonkers comes out okay but falls down stunned with stars over his head.
While I am surprised a character from Amphibia isn't part of the roster, considering it can be seen as a sister series to The Owl House and whatnot, this is still the best concept for a Disney platform fighter I've seen thus far. Heck, this gets extra points for not only making Oswald playable, but having him be part of the base roster! Outstanding work here!
I'm glad you enjoyed! There were so many fantastic options and I didn't have room for everything. It came down to either Amphibia or Owl House, and the latter was the clear winner based on reputation and potential for a creative moveset, imo. May do a sequel to this one sometime.
I came up with an idea that Donald should have a [RAGE METER] that builds whenever he hits or gets hit, inc the reaches full meter he enters his “Goin’ Quackers” mode. He becomes a furious cloud of damaging fury that damages any enemy that Donald runs into while in this state. He can also drain his rage by using one of his other moves, with the bonus being that the attacks are stronger because of the rage-amplifying the power. As for Goofy, I like the idea of him being an unpredictable rushdown/zoner hybrid. His attacks can include chucking his horseshoes with his special throw, slipping on a bar of soap to crash into enemies, or even trying to kick an enemy, only to slip on a banana peel and kick them up into the air.
Unfortunately, I don't have space for everything. It came down to Owl House vs. Amphibia for the modern Disney cartoon rep, and it just wasn't even close from an impact perspective or from moveset potential. Luz wins in both categories.
Honestly, I think a good way to bring in other characters (namely antagonists) is to have them as bosses alongside Chernabog and Bill. Characters like Pete, Zurg, or Magica De Spell could be fun bosses, as well as giving more diversity to the arcade mode
The more the video goes, the more I'm excited. I love all this attention to detail, a great variety of Disney reps. [It's weirdly something the Nick PlatFighters seem to lack- where's the weird picks like Bessie from The Mighty B or Otis the cow?]

I'll be honest (and biased), the main reason why I'd want a Disney fighter aside from having Jack Skellington kick Bill Cipher's ass, is for Star Butterfly as a fighter. Even better to have her team up with Luz or Jack Sparrow. I just know I'd main the absolute shit outta her in this game. Now that I say that, if I ever get good at making ANYTHING in that Dreams PS4 game, I've always wanted to make my own Disney TVA crossover game. I'd add a level where midway into a Perry the Platypus mission, Kim Possible would show up randomly and you swap between them during the level.
I like Star as a character. I feel like they butchered their ending, but it was a fun cartoon. If they hadn't focused so hard on the shipping and... maybe thought for a bit about monsters being magical, they could've landed it. But yes I included her because she's perfect for a fighting game.

Off topic, but I've always daydreamed of writing a potential movie continuation that sort of soft reboots the show where it balances a more comedic Mel Brooks type tone with a more sincere moral and story about accepting change and letting your loved ones go.
some other ideas for supers(final smashes) of characters: Stan, the Stan o war: Stan in his mystery shack outfit drops you down a trap door as your caught by the giant squid at the end of gravity falls on the Stan o war as Stan and ford are there. stand punches the tentacle with you in a few times before ford brings out a blaster that sends the squid and you flying Wreck it Ralph, fix it Felix: unsurprisingly he put you in a level of his game, as you take the spot of one of the Nicelanders as ralph wreck the building, dropping brick on you as Felix fixes it, it ends with you being blown away like gene by the dynamite enemy at the end. Rapunzel, a Tangled crew: this ones for me and other tangled the series fans but this would have Rapunzel trap the opponent in hair before she calls over her group of friends to help, with Eugene hitting them with a frying pan, Varian coming in with his Automaton, maximus horse kicking you before Cassandra uses her black rock sword to knock you up before Rapunzel slams her hair and the opponent down
I think someone who may have been cool to see on a disney roster is someone from miraculous. They're literally superheros who each have special powers so you could add multiple of them without the repetitive feeling
As a massive Judy Hopps stan I am a bit disappointed at her not being in the roster. Zootopia would make for a pretty cool stage too. That being said, the rest of the roster is great! Very good video overall! Looking forward to more roster builds
I'm hyped seeing another roster vid. Your Multiversus vid was perfect! This one was really great too! Star and Darkwing Duck would've been my top personal picks for sure. My only disagreement in picks was Miss Piggy over Kermit, although your reasoning was completely justified. My take is that Kermit should be that one exception in terms of fighters because he's too big of a character to dismiss. I'm also unironically enthusiastic about Lightning McQueen as a fighter, and is up there with Star and DD for me. I understand implementing a Cars character would be a bit awkward, but it would be incredibly unique if done right. As for a minor one, I think Mad Hatter would be fine over Queen of Hearts, but I get wanting adequate villain reps.
Kermit's great, but I have to be consistent with my own rules. You make one exception, it can open the floodgates. Kermit is absolutely iconic, but he's just too wholesome. I can't see him throwing a punch.
A Stage Idea: For Oswald, we have Wasteland from Epic Mickey. It takes place in the town Square. No real points of interest, asides frkm cameos, similar to House of Mouse, sometimes the Mad Doctor could have an attack gimmick. But for a BIG mechanic Stage? We have; The Clock Tower Boss. The gimmick is the entire fight. If Mickey is not in the battle, he can be seen fighting the Clock. There's a 50% chance for Mickey to do either the Paint, or Thinner attacks.
This was a great Roster you make! I really love how you put the characters that fit in a platform fighting game, and yet, make a realistic way who actually can get in. Btw the next i want to see is a Fighting Game based from Universal Studios.
A minor nitpick, but Viacom is now called Paramount Global. At the present, "Viacom International" is just a holding company within Paramount Global. Though with Skydance currently in the process of acquiring/merging with Paramount Global, I'm not sure the merged company's name will be when the dust is settled.
In the case of Aladdin, and I know it wouldnt be possible, but I would love it if one of his alternate costumes was of his appearance from the Starkid musical Twisted: The Untold Story of a Royal Vizear.
Very nice roster. My own personal additions would be: -Anne Boonchoy from Amphibia who could use something akin to Sepheroth or Joker with a temporary buff via her blue gem power. -Marcy Wu should also be added in too mostly because she's the most popular character in Amphibia. She could literally be an artificer rogue like she herself said using her crossbow, items and Joe Sparrow as a recovery. Final Smash would be her in her super form throwing nat 20 dice at her foes. -Judy Hopps I could see being the fastest character but also the weakest akin to something like Pichu sans electricity and self damage. -Molly McGee and Scratch the Ghost acting as characters who switch (Molly using Enhappification using glitter, sticker and stuff akin to Isabelle or her Wraith form to spread it literally like a virus and Scratch would use food and be like a fusion of Shaggy and Danny Phantom). -Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur would be like how you described the characters from Primal in Multiversus video except more bubble gun, roller skating, rocket punches and jetpack for Moon Girl and roars to push back and tech arms for Devil. -Pete I could see going full slapstick. Something like if the Pizza Tower guy was a fighter. Running around, slamming into people, pratfalls. Borrow from his Kingdom Hearts 2 boss battles in Timeless River. -Gadget Hackwrench from Rescue Rangers could be our resident inventer akin to how you described Greymatter in Ben's moveset. Maybe use a mech suit like Ripley from Alien? She'd have plenty of alts but one alt would have to be her disguise in Double O Chipmunk. Finally, I'd add Della Duck as an Echo Fighter for Donald. Most of the same kit with some things from Scrouge and Webby. Final Smash would be crashing the Spear of Celine like Olimar. I'm really glad Luz and Kida made it in. If you want any help coming up with characters for future stuff like that friend for Luz, let me know.
Given a little more space Amphibia would've been prime for a spot, but there's a reason I put a limit in size. It was either Owl House or Amphibia, and I went with the one I though had the more interesting moveset potential. I would definitely only go with one rep, though. Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur wouldn't qualify under my ruleset, as they are actually Marvel characters! Della is a pick I actually do quite like. She's one of the best characters in DuckTales 2017, but I unfortunately just didn't have the space for her. As for Pete and Judy, the problem is their simplicity. Every non-clone character needs something to stand out, and they were just too vanilla when I had other vanilla rushdown and tanky bruiser archetypes.
@TheNerdIncarnate Yeah. I definitely understand. If I had to choose between Anne and Marcy, it would be Marcy. It's like the Maui over Moana at first thing. Marcy is more iconic and popular. I can see why Pete said Judy wouldn't have enough to stand out but I will argue that they are popular enough. However if Judy won't do, perhaps Nick might be good as a zoner or hit and run type. I will still say Pete could fill in the slapstick role like how people want Waluigi to be in Smash.
@@abnormand78 Nah Anne doesn't get more powerful the more damage she takes. It's more like Joker or Sepheroth with a boost after enough time. Though I could see the visual effects being similar.
I love Dr. Doof, but I just couldn't justify four characters from Phineas and Ferb, and of the four, I think his moveset potential is the least interesting. What makes Dr. Doof so entertaining his his vocal interactions with other characters, but an interesting fighting game character that does not make.

(Completely insane) Stage idea Timon & Pumbaa’s Virtual Safari The layout of the stage’s platforms would be fairly simple, but the background would be a tour through one of the virtual safaris, or maybe even a completely original one (kind of like Northern Cave or Hollow Bastion). Every once in a while, the stage would hit a junction, where the fighters would be allowed to “vote” for which path the stage goes down by standing on one side of the main platform. There would be different stage hazards based on which path you end up going down.

Dipper and Mable can't be seen in a fight? Did we watch the same show? Gideon Rises, Into the Bunker, Blendin's Game, The Last Mablecorn. Dipper leaps to Bill in an attempt to fight him head on in Weirdmagedon Part 1. The two can absolutely be a tag fighter in the vain of the Powerpuff Girls or Cat Dog.

I really enjoyed this video! I will say I definitely think Cinderella should have been in this roster as she is (arguably) the face of the Disney Princess brand and beyond iconic. I also think she could easily fit the “not-a fighter, fighter” like Villager, Wii Fit Trainer, or (to an extent) Princess Peach. All in all, love the concept 🔥

I would love to see Raya in a Disney Platform Fighter. After all, Raya & The Last Dragon is my underrated Disney Gem after all & seeing a mix of more obscure Disney films aswell as iconic Disney films can freshen things up a bit Personally, I would rule out anything Disney Channel with the exception of Phineas & Ferb. My Disney Platform roster would just consist of Walt Disney Animation Studios & Pixar, with Jack Skellington & Perry The Platypus being the exception
Im happy Oswald got in this roster. What i dont like is that he's an echo fighter for Mickey, i think .... But if there's ever a sequel video to this roster, make Oswald his own fighter, and heres an idea for a character mechanic for Oswald give him a luck meter that will fill up if he does his neutral special Hell stand ij place will rubbing himself with his Lucky rabbit foot and the more it fills up the more Lucky he gets like Hits from opponents hitting them instead of Oswald goving him extra invincibility frams for his air & spot dodges but when he is rubbing himself gor luck he is super vulnerable during that special allowing opponents to get cheap shots in. Oswald can also use his electric buzzer thing from Epic Mickey for a side special .

I like most of your choices, but here are some i feel deserved a spot as well: *Mal* *Mei Lee* *Meridith* *Stanford Pines* *Anne Boonchuy* *Dr. Doofenshmirtz* *Randy Cunningham* And here are a few characters you opted out of adding to the roster, that I think should be reconsidered. *Chernobog* - You didn't really opt out of adding him, i just think he should be both a boss and a character. *Sora* - I get your reasoning, but I personally don't believe redundancy is a good enough reason to exclude him from the roster. *Judy Hopps* - High mobility options, punches and kicks, and a taxer. It's not the most complex moveset, but every character doesn't need to be. He would definitely fight in a game where strings are being pulled by Bill. Also, they have infinite move set potential. They can use their flashlight to grow limbs in order to deal more damage, or to shrink enemies, making them lighter. Mabel can use her grappling hook and leaf blower, and Dipper could use the silver mirror to summon the ghost of Northwest Manor for an attack. The list goes on.
Aside from your picks here, I've got two other dream picks that still roughly fit the rules you've established I feel; Winifred from Hocus Pocus, and Constance Hatchaway from The Haunted Mansion Winifred being a villain from a cult-classic live action film that can utilize mix of magic ranging from pure offense to mind control, with a dash of Three Stooges style physical violence, and Constance being the ghost of a literal serial killer who could have a visually engaging moveset that references several setpieces for the mansion, and the various ways she killed her many suitors I totally understand why someone wouldn't consider these two, especially the second one, but they are just both interesting ideas to me

I would’ve included characters from Elena of Avalor and Lion Guard in this. Two Disney Jr shows that many adults still see as awesome. And unlike most tv show princesses Elena does seem to be in the main lineup.

Of the four, Syndrome was the only one really on my radar. The other characters are too simple from a moveset perspective. On top of that, while I think Frollo is a brilliantly written villain, from a thematic standpoint, I don't think he fits here. I especially wanted to avoid overt religious references.

You know, outside of Doofenshmirtz, I'm a bit surprised there's no mention of Roger Rabbit, or even Jessica Rabbit; but if Tarzan wouldn't make it due to legal mumbo-jumbo, then that very same would be the case with any Roger Rabbit reps I do have some ideas for some more Disney TVA reps, though: - Milo Murphy from Milo Murphy's Law would have Murphy's Law as a gimmick, where anything that can go wrong, will go wrong... but not only for him. Attacks targeted to him will have a greater chance of failing (depending on the attack, it could miss and leave the fighter open for an attack, or it could inflict damage on the fighter himself as well; shields will break more easily too), and the same goes for Milo's attacks to his opponent. Milo is more of a survivor type than a brawler, so most of his moveset would involve him pulling something out of his backpack and improvise something out of it (though, his side Smash/strong attack HAS to be swinging an anchor). His Super Attack? What else but the infamous Llama Incident, as a horde of llamas will trample upon the opponents. - Hamster and Gretel from... Hamster & Gretel, being superheroes, already fight a lot, so most of their move kit would include a lot of punches, flying tackles, heat vision laser eyes, and carrying the minivan of her big brother Kevin to bash into an opponent. The Super Attack would easily be Gretel's Super Punch, complete with colorful letters appearing as she calls the attack, which varies depending on her target (e.g. "ANGRY DUCK PUNCH" to Donald, "EVIL TRIANGLE PUNCH" to Bill Cipher, etc.) - It's surprising that Doofenshmirtz isn't here, even though I do see a bit of move potential by him using the various inators he's used in Phineas and Ferb (and even a bit in Milo Murphy's Law). I definitely imagine him using the Chicken Replace-Inator as a recovery move, where, when used in the air, he can throw the chicken, then use the inator on himself to swap places with the chicken. I also think it'd be neat if his future self from MML, Professor Time, were to be one of his alts. - I imagine that Amity Blight would also be a good Owl House pick, since she's an actual witch and represents one of the nine classes of witch magic: abomination magic. Amity can summon abominations to use as puppet fighters or defensive walls, and she's also able to use abomination magic to create a gauntlet for physical attacks. - Another Owl House character I've considered is Willow Park, who would be an excellent rep for plant magic, but might be a bit redundant with Luz's plant glyphs.

I wouldve made a couple changes Mainly replacing yzma with kronk because yzma just doesn't feel like she'd work well in a fighting game, as well as kronk just being a fan favorite, he literally got his own movie (and althought he did become good he was still a villian at first) Next, I don't know who'd id remove, but there should be another Incredibles character Syndrome and violet are the best contenders imo I also think pete shouldve been added for a final mickey character as hed literally just be the bowser of this game in every sense And lastly id replace Bart as I just don't see Disney doing it, and instead id replace him with either Groot or starlord as the avengers and gotg weren't interconnected for a while until (I think) infinity war was the first time their universes were ever confirmed to be the same

I feel like not having Facilier and Mei is a slight missed opportunity. Their attacks tied to their films as well as what they could do with their finals would be wild!
I initially considered Facilier, but chose not to do him when I looked into the perception of his portrayal of voodoo culture. It's not done super tastefully. If they hadn't tied it directly to voodoo it'd be reasonable enough to sidestep, but as is I couldn't in good conscious use it. Especially considering I wanted to avoid overt religious references.

Disney has always had the rights to do whatever they want with their specific version of Tarzan. Not that it really matters since Tarzan is in the public domain anyways.
Incorrect. There's a long-going legal stalemate over the name Tarzan. Legal issues prevent characters that are from the actual books from appearing in Disney crossover media. They were allegedly extremely mad that Kingdom Hearts used it, that after the contract ended they didn't want to renegotiate. Check any Disney crossover product since Kingdom Hearts. Note that they are all Tarzan-free. Frankly, we're lucky they were allowed in Once Upon a Studio.
Wait until next year and the rights to Tarzan will be public domain as the last of the Tarzan books enter the public domain. Learned that at the beginning of the year when Mickey entered the public domain.
I did some research into the actual logistics and it's a bit more complicated; the issue is that the estate still legally owns the trademark to the Tarzan name, and they've been fighting tooth and nail to ensure they don't lose it. It's a weird legal grey area. Disney can use their incarnation, under the stipulation they don't call him "Tarzan" - weird, I know. Hence why he's popped up in background roles recently.
I have a concept for an inside out rep: Riley Anderson, as a shulk style character, using her emotions like monado arts, joy makes her floaty, ennui makes her tankier, anxiety makes her faster, anger makes her stronger and disgust is just an all rounder, but with weaker buffs

To be honest, Judy had so many problems that I just couldn't. Nick is cool but he's more of a wisecracking talker, not so much a fighter. I somehow just forgot to record that I had a Zootopia stage though
I could totally see Marvel and Star Wars content making it in as DLC. But I wouldn't be surprised if it was limited to just animated (or at least visibly cartoony) characters. (so, for example, the Lucasfilms pack could be something like Ahsoka Tano, Ezra Bridger, Kazuda Xiono, and lets throw in a couple non-Star Wars picks with the Bog King from Strange Magic, and Howard the Duck)

This is a fun roster you came up with! One character i had though about before would be Powerline from a Goofy Movie. He doesn't do much but could work kinda like Wii Fit Trainer, but with some electrical moves of sorts and dance moves. Would feel unique and a Powerline Stadium stage would go hard honestly

I adore Encanto, but I just couldn't really warrant including a character when the most interesting character is already the stage. Isabella could be interesting by summoning plants, though seeing her get punched might be a bit much for Disney.
For a personal weird pick, I choose Mia Thermapolis from The Princess Diaries and a majority of her attacks would be clumsy slapstick and sports from her time at high school from the first movie.
Oogie boogie would be my main for one reason gambling I know we have characters with random chance like game and watch’s hammer but I don’t think we have had a platform who is just a gambler

I disagree about The Simpsons being too “adult” for a Disney game. They’ve had no issue doing crossovers with Disney stuff, and The Simpsons is very tame compared to Family Guy or American Dad, two shows I don’t think Disney would market with their branding. Plus The Simpsons is no stranger to marketing merch to kids.
I agree that it's much less adult than Family Guy or American Dad, but as I mentioned in the video, those crossovers are always on the Simpsons' home turf, never outside. You'll never see Bart or Homer show up in a Disney-branded product, because the two just are so different from a core audience perspective.
Plus, by keeping acquisitions out, it allows us to be more creative with our choices. Sometimes, limiting the scope can breed creativity.

Ideas for fighters:
Pete - Honestly, Pete would be perfect for a beginner version of a Heavy-Weight, plus he's THE antagonist of Mickey Mouse (Not counting Mortimer or Mad Doctor, we'll get to that) I'd imagine like Mickey he would take attacks from his long tenure. Plus it would be funny to have Pete Pan, Little Pete and Petetronic as costumes.
Mortimer - Speaking of which, Who wouldn't want to punch this guy in the face? Having a trickster with annoying antics would be funny. Also the "HA CHA CHA" spam would be hilarious.
Sensei (Club Penguin) - Despite technically not being prime Disney, I can see a Stance-based moveset focus on Card Jitsu (Fire, Water, Snow) where his attacks and stats change based on the element.
Herbert (Club Penguin) - Having him operate some machine like a mech would be cool, plus you can't have enough villains.
Zurg - Another villain pick, plus wold be a cool rep for the Buzz Lightyear TV series.
Ideas for Stages:
Wasteland - Would be perfect for Oswald's (Though technically could be a Mickey Rep too) Rep stage. The gimmick being Paint and Thinner occasionally creating/destroying platforms would be cool.
Dojo (Club Penguin) - A basic changing stage like Pokemon Stadium that would switch bewteen Fire, Water and Ice, would be Sensei's rep stage,
Nightmare Realm - Perfect for Bill's Rep stage. It would change into any stage at random, and just be chaotic in general.
A Final Destination-like Stage - I mean, this IS a Smash-clone, you gotta have one for the try-hards. Honestly I don't know what it would be based on. Probably make it KH themed, since that game is already a crossover.
Mad Doctor's Castle - A castle full of spooky traps and dangers, though Haunted Mansion also fits that bill.
Fix it Felix Jr. - Think of Wrecking Crew or Tomidachi life. Plus it's literally Ralph's home.
Ideas for Bosses:
Clocktower (Epic Mickey) - One of the most iconic bosses in the game. You would attack his hands and have to destroy both similar to the Thinner route of Epic Mickey.
Mad Doctor (Mickey Mouse [Epic Mickey/Mickey Mania]) - Another Mickey Rep, he's just too iconic to leave out. Have him operate a machine or something.
Doofensmirtz (Phineas and Ferb) - You have Perry, so Doof as a boss is perfect.
Mic. Ideas.
- Ralph would be unlock-able with the justification that he "accidentally" ended up in the wrong game.
- Mickey would have a Brush as a special.
- Donald would technically Rep the same "series" as Scrooge and Darkwing as opposed to Mickey. Kinda like how Yoshi reps the Yoshi Series.
- One of Stan's alts would make him look like Ford, as they are not only twins but that's literally how Stan beat Bill Cipher.

This is one of the best Disney platform fighter roster I have seen yet, if I were to expand it or make it in my own, I would have included Anne and Marcy (my all time favorite Disney character) from Amphibia and scratch and Molly from the ghost and Molly McGee, but still a fantastic roster

And for Toy Story, the Pizza Planet Aliens could use a flying version of the claw machine from their iconic scene in Toy Story 3, (similar to the Arcade Bunny in Smash Bros. Ultimate) as well as the Bucket O’ Soldiers being used as assist characters that slowly drain the opponent’s health as they latch onto them, referencing the scene from the first movie where they latched onto Woody angrily.

@jaydenhurley1744 Personally, I would love to include her in the roster because we did see Ariel use Prince Eric's sword at the start of the Little Mermaid 2. But overall, it's unlikely because in the original film, she has combat issues on land due to her being a mermaid. As a human, she wasn't established to have combat skills. Even if she did in the film, it wouldn't make sense because she just got her legs and she had to get used to them (and less we talk about the 2023 remake the better).

Perhaps have her be like previous Disney game mechanics or features that make some form of water that travels with her and utilize water based elemental attacks or even using a weapon similar to the trident. Using the trident to conjure up a way to travel on land like that one Disney mobile game, “Socerrer’s Arena”Just to make sense that the water travel could be humorous and justified for a character we would love to see in a battle game or not. It’s all an idea that could work if approached and executed correctly.
Of course Woody and Buzz would have to be there, seeing how they came from one of Pixar’s most popular and influential movies of all time (Toy Story), and Jessie could possibly be added as an alternate clone for Woody.

This is a project I wanna do myself when I eventually make videos and you have an interesting roster. Only thing I disagree on is that Minnie *would* absolutely throw hands, she's really quick to snap lmao. Also in one of Sully's victory animations, it has to have Mike Wazowski with him only for Mike to get covered up by your opponents' clapping
To be fair, I haven't seen a huge amount of Minnie stuff since I was a kid, where I would say she was a bit more reserved.
As for your idea for Sulley's victory animation - absolutely, I love it. Keep that joke going, because it's funny every damn time it happens.
Ok, if anything, Elizabeth Swann should have the tipper and captain jack should have uniform hitboxes. Elizabeth is much more precise and thoughtful in how she goes about everything, Jack is more one to swing wildly and hope it works

I'm a simple man. I see a Disney fighting game video, I watch.
But seriously, this is a great lineup of combatants. There's a healthy mix of Disney divisions, from the animated classics and live-action properties, to Pixar and Muppets, to Hyperion Books and the theme parks. Yes, Percy Jackson is a Disney character before the Fox acquisition came into place, meaning he fits here from a business perspective more than previously imagined.
Also, a House of Mouse stage being the place for NPC cameos is a great idea, but I'm kinda bummed we never got a 100 Acre Wood stage. Yes, I know about your rule with "no pacifists" excluding even Tigger from the battle, but a mere cameo would not suffice for one of the most marketable Disney franchises in the company's history.
Now, if I could suggest characters...there isn't that much that you haven't already covered. You even put out a section at the end for those you scrapped from the lineup, like Pete or John Silver.
However, if this game has an option to play the soundtrack, like how Smash Ultimate does on the Switch, we NEED Hellfire in the playlist. That is all.
100-Acre Wood as a stage is something I could maybe see, though I can't think of a layout that would be terribly interesting.
I kinda disagree on Dipper not being willing to throw down. The kid has thrown hands in a few episodes probably even more than Mable I’d say. Plus while a villain Roster is fun I feel like a Pixar Pack would be more fitting and add better diversity. Other than that though the roster looks solid, I love that my Boi Oswald got in.

@ I could see Dipper sorta intentionally (or unintentionally) using some of the weirdness and anomalies of Gravity falls. The Gnomes, Size changing flashlight, the multi-bear for his super move, and maybe also that magnet gun Stanford and him used when exploring the crashed UFO. Perhaps a special of him using the copy machine to make clones of himself similar to the Melon Stevens in Multiverses. He’d be a fighter where his physical attacks are pretty pathetic but his specials make up for it, making clones, changing his size or the fighter’s size, and using anomalies to keep a distance like the socially awkward pre-teen he is.
Plus if that’s still not enough you could always pair him with Mable so they work as a duo fighter like Ren & Stimpy and fill any remaining moves with her and her iconic grappling hook. But best case scenario they act like Catdog or the Powerpuff girls where they work in unison but you can switch who is leader. That’s just my take anyway.
What if in the Gravity Falls stage, there was a separate version of it, being Weirdmageddon.

Considering you included Luz Noceda, I was surprised that you didn't think of an Amphibia rep (probably Anne) to compliment her.
It was between Anne and Luz; and Owl House is just the more beloved property and had much more moveset potential.

This was actually pretty darn good. Well done. I'm merely sad Treasure Planet didn't get any proper representation. Captain Amelia could've been a good choice, a non-pirate naval pic who could be a glass cannon sorts, lots of range, lots of speed, lots of rushdown... but man, would be be light in weight and thus defense. In a way she'd have some of the best aspects of Fox McCloud/Wolf O'Donnel and Bowser Koopa for combat kit only not able to take as many hits.
I wanted a Treasure Planet stage, but I had so many boat stages already. Amelia seems like a cool pick though, definitely prime for a sequel video if I ever did one

This is such a good roster,the only characters I would have swapped out would have been Oogie Boogie with Facilier and Raya with Luisa or Mirabel from Encanto,but beside that this is the best Disney roster I have ever seen.
I think Facilier is such an interesting character, but he presented a few... challenges that made him not feasible.

Darkwing Duck as well as Goliath would be my MAINS in this game. I also have some ideas for other Disney Afternoon characters if they were to enter the fray:
Negaduck - I mean, just because he's Darkwing Duck's evil twin doesn't mean he should be an Echo Fighter. He would probably have some devastating jabs with some punches and brutal kicks plus an eyepoke, he'd probably use his chainsaw, shotgun, bombs, machetes, and other deadly weapons in a lot of specials. For his big final attack, he summons the Bushroot, Quackerjack, Liquidator, and Megavolt and send them over to beat the opponent up while he finishes them off via pulling a switch by shocking them until they cartoonishly explode.
Demona - I could see her pretty much being the same as Goliath except she has a particle beam cannon and also has ranged magic attacks. Her final attack would probably consist of her flying down and knocking the opponent into a wall as she then using the stone talisman to freeze them into stone as she then blasts them to bits.
Megavolt - He could work like Pikachu except he has guns and also shoots fingers from his finger tips which could be neat for shocking opponents or giving them a quick stun. His final attack would be him blasting you into a magnet which brings a bunch of metal objects flying towards you as he laughs maniacally, as he SHOULD because he's a funne evil rat.
Bonkers - Bonkers would probably play like Peacock from Skullgirls with the massive amount of cartoon shenanigans that are at his side and also maybe even could use some cop things in his moveset like cuffing the opponent but you accidentally cuff yourself too. His final attack would be him chasing down the opponent with his partners, Lucky Piquel and Miranda, and having them all crash comically onto the opponent where Bonkers comes out okay but falls down stunned with stars over his head.
While I am surprised a character from Amphibia isn't part of the roster, considering it can be seen as a sister series to The Owl House and whatnot, this is still the best concept for a Disney platform fighter I've seen thus far. Heck, this gets extra points for not only making Oswald playable, but having him be part of the base roster! Outstanding work here!
I'm glad you enjoyed! There were so many fantastic options and I didn't have room for everything. It came down to either Amphibia or Owl House, and the latter was the clear winner based on reputation and potential for a creative moveset, imo. May do a sequel to this one sometime.

I came up with an idea that Donald should have a [RAGE METER] that builds whenever he hits or gets hit, inc the reaches full meter he enters his “Goin’ Quackers” mode. He becomes a furious cloud of damaging fury that damages any enemy that Donald runs into while in this state. He can also drain his rage by using one of his other moves, with the bonus being that the attacks are stronger because of the rage-amplifying the power.
As for Goofy, I like the idea of him being an unpredictable rushdown/zoner hybrid. His attacks can include chucking his horseshoes with his special throw, slipping on a bar of soap to crash into enemies, or even trying to kick an enemy, only to slip on a banana peel and kick them up into the air.
You could've added Anne from Amphibia. Her gameplay would be basically Shaggy from Multiversus.
Unfortunately, I don't have space for everything. It came down to Owl House vs. Amphibia for the modern Disney cartoon rep, and it just wasn't even close from an impact perspective or from moveset potential. Luz wins in both categories.
Eli Shane would be so peak. Also Bill Cipher feels like he would fit in bery nicely
Honestly, I think a good way to bring in other characters (namely antagonists) is to have them as bosses alongside Chernabog and Bill. Characters like Pete, Zurg, or Magica De Spell could be fun bosses, as well as giving more diversity to the arcade mode
Bill would be insane I would main the hell out of him though I believe wartwood would be a great stage have the fighters avoid the tax toads or wally

I'll be honest (and biased), the main reason why I'd want a Disney fighter aside from having Jack Skellington kick Bill Cipher's ass, is for Star Butterfly as a fighter. Even better to have her team up with Luz or Jack Sparrow. I just know I'd main the absolute shit outta her in this game.
Now that I say that, if I ever get good at making ANYTHING in that Dreams PS4 game, I've always wanted to make my own Disney TVA crossover game. I'd add a level where midway into a Perry the Platypus mission, Kim Possible would show up randomly and you swap between them during the level.
I like Star as a character. I feel like they butchered their ending, but it was a fun cartoon. If they hadn't focused so hard on the shipping and... maybe thought for a bit about monsters being magical, they could've landed it.
But yes I included her because she's perfect for a fighting game.

Off topic, but I've always daydreamed of writing a potential movie continuation that sort of soft reboots the show where it balances a more comedic Mel Brooks type tone with a more sincere moral and story about accepting change and letting your loved ones go.
some other ideas for supers(final smashes) of characters:
Stan, the Stan o war: Stan in his mystery shack outfit drops you down a trap door as your caught by the giant squid at the end of gravity falls on the Stan o war as Stan and ford are there. stand punches the tentacle with you in a few times before ford brings out a blaster that sends the squid and you flying
Wreck it Ralph, fix it Felix: unsurprisingly he put you in a level of his game, as you take the spot of one of the Nicelanders as ralph wreck the building, dropping brick on you as Felix fixes it, it ends with you being blown away like gene by the dynamite enemy at the end.
Rapunzel, a Tangled crew: this ones for me and other tangled the series fans but this would have Rapunzel trap the opponent in hair before she calls over her group of friends to help, with Eugene hitting them with a frying pan, Varian coming in with his Automaton, maximus horse kicking you before Cassandra uses her black rock sword to knock you up before Rapunzel slams her hair and the opponent down
I think someone who may have been cool to see on a disney roster is someone from miraculous. They're literally superheros who each have special powers so you could add multiple of them without the repetitive feeling

As a massive Judy Hopps stan I am a bit disappointed at her not being in the roster. Zootopia would make for a pretty cool stage too. That being said, the rest of the roster is great! Very good video overall! Looking forward to more roster builds

Star and Darkwing Duck would've been my top personal picks for sure.
My only disagreement in picks was Miss Piggy over Kermit, although your reasoning was completely justified. My take is that Kermit should be that one exception in terms of fighters because he's too big of a character to dismiss.
I'm also unironically enthusiastic about Lightning McQueen as a fighter, and is up there with Star and DD for me. I understand implementing a Cars character would be a bit awkward, but it would be incredibly unique if done right.
As for a minor one, I think Mad Hatter would be fine over Queen of Hearts, but I get wanting adequate villain reps.
Kermit's great, but I have to be consistent with my own rules. You make one exception, it can open the floodgates. Kermit is absolutely iconic, but he's just too wholesome. I can't see him throwing a punch.

A Stage Idea:
For Oswald, we have Wasteland from Epic Mickey. It takes place in the town Square. No real points of interest, asides frkm cameos, similar to House of Mouse, sometimes the Mad Doctor could have an attack gimmick. But for a BIG mechanic Stage? We have;
The Clock Tower Boss. The gimmick is the entire fight. If Mickey is not in the battle, he can be seen fighting the Clock. There's a 50% chance for Mickey to do either the Paint, or Thinner attacks.
This was a great Roster you make! I really love how you put the characters that fit in a platform fighting game, and yet, make a realistic way who actually can get in. Btw the next i want to see is a Fighting Game based from Universal Studios.
A minor nitpick, but Viacom is now called Paramount Global. At the present, "Viacom International" is just a holding company within Paramount Global. Though with Skydance currently in the process of acquiring/merging with Paramount Global, I'm not sure the merged company's name will be when the dust is settled.
In the case of Aladdin, and I know it wouldnt be possible, but I would love it if one of his alternate costumes was of his appearance from the Starkid musical Twisted: The Untold Story of a Royal Vizear.
Very nice roster. My own personal additions would be:
-Anne Boonchoy from Amphibia who could use something akin to Sepheroth or Joker with a temporary buff via her blue gem power.
-Marcy Wu should also be added in too mostly because she's the most popular character in Amphibia. She could literally be an artificer rogue like she herself said using her crossbow, items and Joe Sparrow as a recovery. Final Smash would be her in her super form throwing nat 20 dice at her foes.
-Judy Hopps I could see being the fastest character but also the weakest akin to something like Pichu sans electricity and self damage.
-Molly McGee and Scratch the Ghost acting as characters who switch (Molly using Enhappification using glitter, sticker and stuff akin to Isabelle or her Wraith form to spread it literally like a virus and Scratch would use food and be like a fusion of Shaggy and Danny Phantom).
-Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur would be like how you described the characters from Primal in Multiversus video except more bubble gun, roller skating, rocket punches and jetpack for Moon Girl and roars to push back and tech arms for Devil.
-Pete I could see going full slapstick. Something like if the Pizza Tower guy was a fighter. Running around, slamming into people, pratfalls. Borrow from his Kingdom Hearts 2 boss battles in Timeless River.
-Gadget Hackwrench from Rescue Rangers could be our resident inventer akin to how you described Greymatter in Ben's moveset. Maybe use a mech suit like Ripley from Alien? She'd have plenty of alts but one alt would have to be her disguise in Double O Chipmunk.
Finally, I'd add Della Duck as an Echo Fighter for Donald. Most of the same kit with some things from Scrouge and Webby. Final Smash would be crashing the Spear of Celine like Olimar.

Della is a pick I actually do quite like. She's one of the best characters in DuckTales 2017, but I unfortunately just didn't have the space for her.
As for Pete and Judy, the problem is their simplicity. Every non-clone character needs something to stand out, and they were just too vanilla when I had other vanilla rushdown and tanky bruiser archetypes.
@TheNerdIncarnate Yeah. I definitely understand. If I had to choose between Anne and Marcy, it would be Marcy. It's like the Maui over Moana at first thing. Marcy is more iconic and popular.
I can see why Pete said Judy wouldn't have enough to stand out but I will argue that they are popular enough. However if Judy won't do, perhaps Nick might be good as a zoner or hit and run type.
I will still say Pete could fill in the slapstick role like how people want Waluigi to be in Smash.

I love Dr. Doof, but I just couldn't justify four characters from Phineas and Ferb, and of the four, I think his moveset potential is the least interesting. What makes Dr. Doof so entertaining his his vocal interactions with other characters, but an interesting fighting game character that does not make.

(Completely insane) Stage idea
Timon & Pumbaa’s Virtual Safari
The layout of the stage’s platforms would be fairly simple, but the background would be a tour through one of the virtual safaris, or maybe even a completely original one (kind of like Northern Cave or Hollow Bastion). Every once in a while, the stage would hit a junction, where the fighters would be allowed to “vote” for which path the stage goes down by standing on one side of the main platform. There would be different stage hazards based on which path you end up going down.

I really enjoyed this video! I will say I definitely think Cinderella should have been in this roster as she is (arguably) the face of the Disney Princess brand and beyond iconic. I also think she could easily fit the “not-a fighter, fighter” like Villager, Wii Fit Trainer, or (to an extent) Princess Peach. All in all, love the concept 🔥
I'm glad you enjoyed! I personally can't see her as a fighter, nor do I really see a large amount of actual moveset potential, but I did include her Castle as a stage because that film is very culturally significant.

I would love to see Raya in a Disney Platform Fighter. After all, Raya & The Last Dragon is my underrated Disney Gem after all & seeing a mix of more obscure Disney films aswell as iconic Disney films can freshen things up a bit
Personally, I would rule out anything Disney Channel with the exception of Phineas & Ferb. My Disney Platform roster would just consist of Walt Disney Animation Studios & Pixar, with Jack Skellington & Perry The Platypus being the exception
Im happy Oswald got in this roster. What i dont like is that he's an echo fighter for Mickey, i think .... But if there's ever a sequel video to this roster, make Oswald his own fighter, and heres an idea for a character mechanic for Oswald give him a luck meter that will fill up if he does his neutral special Hell stand ij place will rubbing himself with his Lucky rabbit foot and the more it fills up the more Lucky he gets like Hits from opponents hitting them instead of Oswald goving him extra invincibility frams for his air & spot dodges but when he is rubbing himself gor luck he is super vulnerable during that special allowing opponents to get cheap shots in. Oswald can also use his electric buzzer thing from Epic Mickey for a side special .

*Dipper & Mabel* - One of the most integral secnes to Dipper's development is him dropping the journal and facing Bill with his fists. He would definitely fight in a game where strings are being pulled by Bill. Also, they have infinite move set potential. They can use their flashlight to grow limbs in order to deal more damage, or to shrink enemies, making them lighter. Mabel can use her grappling hook and leaf blower, and Dipper could use the silver mirror to summon the ghost of Northwest Manor for an attack. The list goes on.
Aside from your picks here, I've got two other dream picks that still roughly fit the rules you've established I feel;
Winifred from Hocus Pocus, and Constance Hatchaway from The Haunted Mansion
Winifred being a villain from a cult-classic live action film that can utilize mix of magic ranging from pure offense to mind control, with a dash of Three Stooges style physical violence, and Constance being the ghost of a literal serial killer who could have a visually engaging moveset that references several setpieces for the mansion, and the various ways she killed her many suitors
I totally understand why someone wouldn't consider these two, especially the second one, but they are just both interesting ideas to me
I actually did consider the Sanderson Sisters, but I felt there wasn't anything crazy unique I could do to make them interesting.

I would’ve included characters from Elena of Avalor and Lion Guard in this. Two Disney Jr shows that many adults still see as awesome. And unlike most tv show princesses Elena does seem to be in the main lineup.
I'm aware that people like them but had little context, and by comparison to other Princesses and Lion King offerings, they were pretty niche.

I can’t help but imagine a down special where Mickey pulls out a random list of Mousekitools that could have various effects depending on what it is, kind of like a simplified Hero down special. I know would never do direct references to their more Pre-school media with these characters, especially with someone like Mickey in this context but I mean it would be really interesting

Star Wars, Indiana Jones, and Ice Age is literally in Disney Magic Kingdoms a mobile game with many other Disney/Pixar franchises which disproves your statement that Disney is unwilling to have Star Wars and Fox properties in their Disney branded crossovers.
I was not aware of that, however, that is a rare exception, rather than the norm.

Finally this day has come i waited for this moment for long time but i miss four villains in this Roster what about Gaston, Frollo, Evil Queen and Syndrome?
Of the four, Syndrome was the only one really on my radar. The other characters are too simple from a moveset perspective. On top of that, while I think Frollo is a brilliantly written villain, from a thematic standpoint, I don't think he fits here. I especially wanted to avoid overt religious references.
Two deep-cut fighters I would love to see make it in: the Mad Doctor and Davy Crockett. You've already got a lot of Disney TV show characters, why not have one of the very first?

You know, outside of Doofenshmirtz, I'm a bit surprised there's no mention of Roger Rabbit, or even Jessica Rabbit; but if Tarzan wouldn't make it due to legal mumbo-jumbo, then that very same would be the case with any Roger Rabbit reps
I do have some ideas for some more Disney TVA reps, though:
- Milo Murphy from Milo Murphy's Law would have Murphy's Law as a gimmick, where anything that can go wrong, will go wrong... but not only for him. Attacks targeted to him will have a greater chance of failing (depending on the attack, it could miss and leave the fighter open for an attack, or it could inflict damage on the fighter himself as well; shields will break more easily too), and the same goes for Milo's attacks to his opponent. Milo is more of a survivor type than a brawler, so most of his moveset would involve him pulling something out of his backpack and improvise something out of it (though, his side Smash/strong attack HAS to be swinging an anchor). His Super Attack? What else but the infamous Llama Incident, as a horde of llamas will trample upon the opponents.
- Hamster and Gretel from... Hamster & Gretel, being superheroes, already fight a lot, so most of their move kit would include a lot of punches, flying tackles, heat vision laser eyes, and carrying the minivan of her big brother Kevin to bash into an opponent. The Super Attack would easily be Gretel's Super Punch, complete with colorful letters appearing as she calls the attack, which varies depending on her target (e.g. "ANGRY DUCK PUNCH" to Donald, "EVIL TRIANGLE PUNCH" to Bill Cipher, etc.)
- It's surprising that Doofenshmirtz isn't here, even though I do see a bit of move potential by him using the various inators he's used in Phineas and Ferb (and even a bit in Milo Murphy's Law). I definitely imagine him using the Chicken Replace-Inator as a recovery move, where, when used in the air, he can throw the chicken, then use the inator on himself to swap places with the chicken. I also think it'd be neat if his future self from MML, Professor Time, were to be one of his alts.
- I imagine that Amity Blight would also be a good Owl House pick, since she's an actual witch and represents one of the nine classes of witch magic: abomination magic. Amity can summon abominations to use as puppet fighters or defensive walls, and she's also able to use abomination magic to create a gauntlet for physical attacks.
- Another Owl House character I've considered is Willow Park, who would be an excellent rep for plant magic, but might be a bit redundant with Luz's plant glyphs.
They actually do own Roger, he'd be prime material for a sequel video. Amity would be a very cool pick as well

Mainly replacing yzma with kronk because yzma just doesn't feel like she'd work well in a fighting game, as well as kronk just being a fan favorite, he literally got his own movie (and althought he did become good he was still a villian at first)
Next, I don't know who'd id remove, but there should be another Incredibles character
Syndrome and violet are the best contenders imo
I also think pete shouldve been added for a final mickey character as hed literally just be the bowser of this game in every sense
And lastly id replace Bart as I just don't see Disney doing it, and instead id replace him with either Groot or starlord as the avengers and gotg weren't interconnected for a while until (I think) infinity war was the first time their universes were ever confirmed to be the same

I feel like not having Facilier and Mei is a slight missed opportunity. Their attacks tied to their films as well as what they could do with their finals would be wild!
I initially considered Facilier, but chose not to do him when I looked into the perception of his portrayal of voodoo culture. It's not done super tastefully. If they hadn't tied it directly to voodoo it'd be reasonable enough to sidestep, but as is I couldn't in good conscious use it. Especially considering I wanted to avoid overt religious references.

Disney has always had the rights to do whatever they want with their specific version of Tarzan. Not that it really matters since Tarzan is in the public domain anyways.
Incorrect. There's a long-going legal stalemate over the name Tarzan. Legal issues prevent characters that are from the actual books from appearing in Disney crossover media. They were allegedly extremely mad that Kingdom Hearts used it, that after the contract ended they didn't want to renegotiate. Check any Disney crossover product since Kingdom Hearts. Note that they are all Tarzan-free. Frankly, we're lucky they were allowed in Once Upon a Studio.
Wait until next year and the rights to Tarzan will be public domain as the last of the Tarzan books enter the public domain. Learned that at the beginning of the year when Mickey entered the public domain.
I did some research into the actual logistics and it's a bit more complicated; the issue is that the estate still legally owns the trademark to the Tarzan name, and they've been fighting tooth and nail to ensure they don't lose it. It's a weird legal grey area. Disney can use their incarnation, under the stipulation they don't call him "Tarzan" - weird, I know. Hence why he's popped up in background roles recently.

I could totally see Marvel and Star Wars content making it in as DLC. But I wouldn't be surprised if it was limited to just animated (or at least visibly cartoony) characters. (so, for example, the Lucasfilms pack could be something like Ahsoka Tano, Ezra Bridger, Kazuda Xiono, and lets throw in a couple non-Star Wars picks with the Bog King from Strange Magic, and Howard the Duck)
They could fill an entire game's roster with Marvel characters alone.

I know Disney own the streaming rights to the show Miraculous and I think Cat Noir could work as a fighting game character. I would like Star Wars prequel trilogy characters such as Obi-Wan and stages such as Mustafar, but there is a rule in the video against it.
Edit: I have finished the video. Under the rules given, I could see Cat Noir working as base game and Obi-Wan as DLC (pass) 3.

One character i had though about before would be Powerline from a Goofy Movie. He doesn't do much but could work kinda like Wii Fit Trainer, but with some electrical moves of sorts and dance moves.
Would feel unique and a Powerline Stadium stage would go hard honestly

I would have a Encanto rep being Luisa since I can't really think of any other members of the Madrigal family who would be willing to throw hands like she would
I adore Encanto, but I just couldn't really warrant including a character when the most interesting character is already the stage.
Isabella could be interesting by summoning plants, though seeing her get punched might be a bit much for Disney.
For a personal weird pick, I choose Mia Thermapolis from The Princess Diaries and a majority of her attacks would be clumsy slapstick and sports from her time at high school from the first movie.
Oogie boogie would be my main for one reason gambling I know we have characters with random chance like game and watch’s hammer but I don’t think we have had a platform who is just a gambler
I would be a Stan main because I love gravity falls
