I just came across your video. That is the best most real test drive of any vehicle I've seen. Personally, maybe one more child and maybe a teen (or two) would have been interesting in that drive. Just to test comfort, load space, driver distraction of passengers, passengers perspective. It was good to hear your wifes perspective as a passenger for the info screen, comfort etc and her perspective of driving the vehicle. Good video

From an interest in "family safety" I'm amazed by this vehicle and the SuperCruise feature now available in some trims. For highway travel (short or long travel) I can't help but think how beneficial that feature alone will be to safety and anyone on the road, but especially those traveling with their family. I never thought I'd consider buying a Cadilac, but we are now considering buying one for that feature alone.

I really miss the front end of the last generation Escalades. I’ve seen a few of these on the road and they just don’t look like 100k on the outside anymore. Sweet interior though!

Brake fade with only 3 seats filled and no cargo? OLED screens that do not have the viewing angle of a good TV ? Both are serious safety issues (drivers should be able to subcontract infotainment screentime chores while driving). It sounds like Cadillac is making some bad choices. Maybe upgraded brakes and screens will be added to the option list. Otherwise, it looks like it fills its market niche. I guess I will keep my 2013 Santa Fe.

If you’re getting this vehicle for the utility and family friendliness, then just get a minivan (Sienna, Odyssey, etc). If you want it bc it’s baller, then Yes… it is baller and I want one. 😂
We can hate all we want but I’m not going to act like this is not the best Luxury SUV ever. The fact is, nothing compares to level of practicality, technology, space, luxury and safety like this New Escalade offers. It basically has everything Rolls-Royce, Range Rover Mercedes GLS Maybach have and more. It is the only SUV that can really come close to driving itself.
I don't understand people who buy these tanks on wheels like Escalades, Tahoes, Suburbans, Navigator, etc. Such a danger to others on the road, usually driven by bad drivers and people that have like 1 or 2 kids. And most of the time they are the only ones in the car driving those big ass cars.
I guess I’m one of those people. The reason I drive them because they’re comfortable . I also have a CT6, but like driving the Tahoe more. I have never been in an accident when it was my fault it always been someone that hit my Tahoe.

Would still love to see you review a Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk and then compare it to your Broco because the Cherokee Trailhawk is a more close competitor to the Bronco than the Wrangler even though the Bronco team would like you to compare it against the Wrangler.
Only 277 HP?…wow that’s actually. Shocking… It looks fantastic though! A very classy and gorgeous looking SUV! It looks amazing. It’s just when it’s a turbo diesel with only 277 HP and has a 10 speed. Kinda makes you wonder when you’ll be using 10 gears. When you think Escalade you think a beefy V8 with a 6 speed transmission or possibly 10 speed. But hey maybe I could be wrong. It just seems shocking to see those numbers from Cadillac 😦
Exterior styling not for me. Resembles a shiny chrome trimmed brick. Doesn't seem like enough airbags for something that size. I think other vehicles like Pacifica, Carnival, Odyssey, Sienna, Telluride, Atlas and Palisade are a better value as people movers. There is a lot of really good technology in the Escalade. If I were buying this the ESV would be the way to go. You're likely going to need more storage space with more passengers. If I owned a business shuttling executives, athletes or celebrities I would grab the top of the line ESV version. This isn't something I would buy for my family.
Agree 100%, not a big fan of all these turbo motors now days. If the idea is to get better gas mileage it doesn't seem to be much better if you ask me but hey I'm old school, only V8"s for me.

At $107,000, I hope you were very careful with that beast. If "large" is a style, is "too large" an emotion, as in "terrifyingly big"? I'm not a tree hugger by any stretch of the imagination, but any car I can't see over while standing next to it is, just, too big. Call me crazy (I am), but I like to see what's on the other side of a car when I'm at a crosswalk or walking through a parking lot.
With 3 people in your family, each one of you can have their own personal ton of luxury in this Escalade.
