hi Daniel, found your content a few weeks back when i was feeling motivated to try and enact some real change. It fell flat pretty quickly but id just like to say this video resonated really well i feel as if numbness goes under-discussed generally so its nice to see it addressed by someone who's both been in it and also has a good grasp of all the psychology and whatever behind it. I think i might book a call soon im not too sure but I've been feeling this way around a few years now and I'm starting to realise they aren't going to come back without being prompted to.
One little problem i have with your advice is i never really enjoyed anything besides pure hedonism. I used to play golf with my dad but i used to get frustrated at it (and find it boring?? its been so long since I've had no emotional attachment to any hobbies its kind of hard to tell whether or not i didn't like something because i was numb or if i didn't like something because it wasn't for me) and for other hobbies i really can't think of much so idk how to return to what used to be good if that makes sense. I'm guessing the solution to that is just to experiment and try lots of new things until my feelings start to kick in?

also just want to add as a side note that it is really really hard to take any initiative when the gratification is so deferred. I don't mean this as a pushback or counter argument to anything you've said i just want to point out how cripplingly lazy numbness makes you and how doing anything when you get nothing from it in the moment just feels like prodding my brain with a stick hoping for the happy chemicals to release. Idk if this confusing to understand i struggle to articulate things well sometimes but this was just a little tag note i wanted to add on. Your advice seems really good and i think im almost definetly going to book a call. Just a quick question how much does it cost after the free discovery call?

Hey ya, I know how you feel with the numbness, I went through it too. There's a lot going on with it and it we do it not to feel something instantly, but for long lasting change. We can discuss it all and I can answer all your questions about it if/when we have a call together.

I have been blacksmithing 5 hours a week for 2 years. My favorite hobby. My cup dose not overflow.

Numbness is my biggest issue. Its brutal and doctors don't want to treat it properly and prescribe useless meds

It is brutal, but I promise that can change. Consider getting in touch if you want to talk about how you can recover.
