It's not that nothing matters, it's just I am so emotionally traumatised that I find it hard to stay calm without zoning out

    1) Connect yourself to something. Use that to do some teaching.
    2) redirect the numbness somewhere. How can I affect others In a positive way.
Let me go down path that give good results cuz I don't care. You'll do stuff in the purest form. Speak in a way that you know others won't speak in. Whatever comes back to me, comes back. Use your emotional numbness to your advantage and make the world a better place. ❤️ Thank you so much, this is a tangent I can go off

Feeling like a Zombie is the best analogy when it comes to this. The one thing that keeps me going in this existence is my art. Sucks that life has made you like that. At least you are doing something before your time comes.

This is so AWESOME. I really thought that when people would say, they didn't care what people thought or said about them that they had put on a mask of pretense and they really did care or they were dead inside. I guess it could have been both. I understand emotional numbness now better than I have ever. Thank you so much for your testimony.

@wuhhlfarg5578 It's all learning, you start to understand you can craft your life however you want you can be happy when you want to be happy you can create friends when you want to befriend someone you can be aggressive you you feel you need to be aggressive. You have full awareness of what works and what doesn't in your own mind spirit and body. Everything you do raises your mind control and spirit energy. By numbing yourself your cutting off the most important and strongest part of you or "I" which is your spirit energy. Become a proffesional at using the English language and never curse yourself always positive Affirmations and realise you is you. I is named ari but I am I. Never scroll always watch full length videos if you need some sort of video input. If you scroll you pick up other people's opinions fast and can confuse your mind. Watch full length videos and you can think in your head while watching the video projecting your own thoughts and views. This all bit all over the show but I hope it helps in projecting the way you hear see talk.

@@ariwrxout Im still not sure I understand. If you chose numbness and detachment what type of life are you trying to experience? Personally, I have lived in numbness for so many years and never really noticed because it just became my normal. I can be in social situations and go through the motions of happiness, or what people would perceive as happiness, but inside there is actually nothing. I struggle to see the benefits of this that you speak of because what is there to actually live for? What's the point in going through existence with no feelings about anything? I want nothing more than to be able to have the feeling of actually wanting something and feeling joy and happiness. When I accomplish things to be happy and proud of myself instead of just blankness because again, what's the benefit otherwise?

Thank you so much for this message. Not to reignite or put fuel to my story but i was in a situation where i was framed. It was in a workplace where i dated someone. Someone said something about me and to this day i have no idea what they said but it destroyed my reputation and was no longer welcomed back. So not only i did not hear their side but no one wants to hear my side.. my social situation is a small town so leaving was hard. Leaving the house was difficult because all i can think about was running into one of those individuals that didnt want to hear my story and doing the worst to them. As time went on that anger turned to apathy and nearly corrupted who i was and what i was about. Which previous before was all about making the world a better place. This experience has taught that there is good and evil in this world and to be mindful. But if you really want to make the world a better place you gotta be ALL about it.. no stone left unturned. Every mannerism must be in alignment with making the world a better place including when the doors are closed and no one is watching. Every fiber of your being must be that person you wish to be. And a very important question to ask yourself is: if this is the person i plan on being 5, 10 years from now, what would he be doing right now?

Hi, I would like to share if you're open enough to hear... that I had depression, addiction, and suicidal thoughts. I wanted to let you know that there is hope because when I prayed and cried to God for help, He answered, came to my rescue, and took it all away. I never felt so light and so free.
God is real, everyone, and He can heal you from emotional numbness. There is only so much we can handle ourselves. If you feel there is no way, cry out to Jesus. He will heal you and take you out of your suffering. He loves you and He cares. ❤

I feel like the people who have had emotional numbness went through traumatic experiences and events in life. So I must have something else then because I had the flu and then was overthinking about my symptoms and then had anxiety and then felt numb but I don’t think I had emotional numbness because every time I have gone through this experience what helps me is the Sun and then I start feeling better again.

Surprising video. Less about overcoming numbness than using it for a positive end. Interesting perspective. It might not exactly be ideal, but it is a way of seeing numbness as a gift.

Thank you so much for this POWERFUL information presented clearly, with understanding and actionable advice. I find the word "despite" to be powerful as well. I am going to do what is good for me, the people around me, and my community despite (feeling numb, depressed, that it's hopeless, that these people don't deserve it, etc...). Be well and best wishes!

I’m the same. It’s like im all cared and cried out. Between 2013 and 2021 all manner of stress and emotional pain. It’s like I’ve run out. Well I care about my dogs and Parter but care is the only emotion. It’s not love and excitement or other emotions. I work I make enough to scrape by. So stuck. I turn to anything to get a mode change like alcohol etc. but it’s not who I was. I feel like the old me is a shell.
