- This bike is as close to a factory two stroke as you will get in this day. It has a Mitch Payton hand ported cylinder, factory Showa forks, and a titanium silencer off Chad Reed's 2005 YZ250. The MXA wrecking crew went looking for the double whammy. A bike that was once owned by a factory rider but had been bought and rebuilt by a factory mechanic. We love it, loved riding it and loved looking at it.

Yamaha's are awesome. Love that they still make 2 strokes. I wish I was healthy to ride again. So my alternative is watching You-Tubers put on a show for me! Thank you!

Yeah no shit. The last CR250 had such a phenomenal chassis it’s not even funny. Maybe a little tweak of that motor would make a perfect bike and actually compete w the KTM. If that happened I’d buy one immediately

Just a dream for my 2009 yz250…. Still got the suspension bang on subtle but stiff for 170lbs and jetting perfect for 3000ft above sea level

Mitchel Smith yep. I had the EBC 280mm kit on my 2012 KX450 with EBC MXR pads. It was an awesome upgrade. I didnt have the bike long enough to ever get a braided stainless brake line on it, but the kit was great even without it.

Because the Factory A-Kit Showa forks he scrounged up at Pro Circuit are way way better thanOEM KYB’s.

Raamonjo It is the 304 carbon silencer of Chad Reeds old factory Yamaha 250 yz. John Mitcheff worked for PC for many years so this is a full blown PC build no FMF here.

funny thing about suspension, it's all personal preference. Some Pro guys still run airforks too.

No doubt that a very sweet ride. But I don't care WTF this guy think, my 2003 STOCK 250SX was FASTER that a full PC missed YZ250 of the same year.
Best in mind there 03 250SX was FASTER than KTM I'm 450F of the same year. Every year since 03 KTM has been trying to make the bike more ridable for guys whose name isn't McGrath or Pit Beirer. The 03 was a factory replace motor and it was really really really fast. I'd love to see how it stacks up against a modem 250SX.
But still, Moto dude here did say this highly modified bike might, MIGHT be faster than a 2019 250SX which is the standard. But what happened when you modify the 2019 SX250 😳😧😲 yer shoulders better get seeing or they will get ripped out.
