But next day I restart my houdini donut, everything works fine except my render view. My sprinkles are looking fine in my Scene view but they look way bigger in my Render view. Why does it happen?
Hey Sabil, you certainly can, it's just a different approach. Because Houdini is procedural and node based, each part of the modelling process is stored as a node. This gives you more control but also makes it a bit more complex. Basically, Houdini is incredible at everything except sculpting. Hey, one thing to check for your icing, is your display flag. There should be a blue display flag on the icing object. For the red and white sprinkles, it is likely an issue with your attribute randomize. Check to make sure that your 'Distribution' on the attribute randomize for Cd is set to 'Uniform'. If that doesn't fix it, try downloading the file in the description and compare yours to the downloaded file. If you're still having an issue, let me know :)

When I render I am getting spheres instead of tubes(I don't have spheres in the scene) that too very large compared to what I have in my scene..any idea what might be happening!?
Hi, generally, if you're trying to render points without any geometry they'll render as spheres. It's houdini's way of dealing with particles. The size of the spheres is dependent on the pscale attribute. So, check two things, is your display flag on your tubes and do they have pscale attributes? If you'd like, the file download is available to compare :)
When I download your part 3 file, the sprinkles are going through the donut. 'Add Hit Attributes' is checked and popcollisionbehaviour is on stick. Why does this happen??

Hello Sir, I have a problem in render view. In scene view everything is perfect but when i go to render view , the sprinkles (Tubes) turns into spheres . Please help why it is happening.
Hey Manu, usually, if spheres are rendering in your scene, it is because your particles do not have geometry attached to them. Make sure that your display flag is on the last node of your sprinkles node. Also, make sure your DYNAMIC_SPRINKLES node is hidden. It will render as spheres if you have it showing. Otherwise, try downloading the file that I linked and try comparing. Hope that helps!
Hello! I hope someone still watching this but... does anyone had the issue with the icing? I can´t see it when I´m rendering, I solve the spheres Issue but man, I don´t know what to do D:
Hey! In houdini, points are rendered as spheres. This just means that you have not copied any geometry to the sprinkles points. Check to make sure that your render flag is on the correct object and it should work. I hope that helps👍

Thanks a lot.. it worked.
@@diftyfifty If random color was defined in sprinkle node why happens this way?
for some reason the scene feels very choppy in my computer. Like I just bought a new one with 32 gigs of ram and 4070 Nvidia graphics card.
Where do we go to add more sprinkles that get stuck to the icing? Right now mine are scarce and spaced out
Dynamic_Sprinkles > popnet > POP Source and then adjust the constant birth rate.
tank you man
i am having trouble while rendering which says

Hi, my render tab stuck in black (I add camera and light) What should i do
i love you bro 🙂
When I render I am getting spheres instead of tubes(I don't have spheres in the scene) that too very large compared to what I have in my scene..any idea what might be happening!?
Hi, generally, if you're trying to render points without any geometry they'll render as spheres. It's houdini's way of dealing with particles. The size of the spheres is dependent on the pscale attribute. So, check two things, is your display flag on your tubes and do they have pscale attributes? If you'd like, the file download is available to compare :)
On the dynamic_sprinkles geometry check the display/render flag on the transform node! Tell me if it worked!
@@fabiogomes1145 Yes it is. Thanks, but why?
@@NineBetween This is also happening to me and i tried your file and it still happens
@@fabiogomes1145 omg THANK YOU!!!
when i am rendering the sprinkles the tubes become the sphere please help me
When I download your part 3 file, the sprinkles are going through the donut. 'Add Hit Attributes' is checked and popcollisionbehaviour is on stick. Why does this happen??
houdini failed to save output to file traceback (most recent call last) i have this problem when i render... seems like it has to do with the environment but all my folders are name correctly any ideas?
Help when i render the springkle become a sphere
my icing top layer is not getting rendered any idea why??
Hello Sir, I have a problem in render view. In scene view everything is perfect but when i go to render view , the sprinkles (Tubes) turns into spheres . Please help why it is happening.
same happened to me :(
Hey Manu, usually, if spheres are rendering in your scene, it is because your particles do not have geometry attached to them. Make sure that your display flag is on the last node of your sprinkles node. Also, make sure your DYNAMIC_SPRINKLES node is hidden. It will render as spheres if you have it showing. Otherwise, try downloading the file that I linked and try comparing. Hope that helps!
Hey, I gave Manu some feedback, maybe it will help you. All the best!
@@NineBetween woo! thanks, that would have been a tough one to figure
@@NineBetween had the same issue but you were correct my DYNAMIC_SPRINKLES wasn't hidden
Hello!
I hope someone still watching this but... does anyone had the issue with the icing? I can´t see it when I´m rendering, I solve the spheres Issue but man, I don´t know what to do D:
"see you next time!"
@Nine Between hi,I have some problems to ask you, when i click render button, then just stuck on "generating scene" ,how can i solve that
same, check if the folder name has some weird letters in it
:-* Love you sir
Is it normal to see your Sprinkles rendered out as red circles? (Can somebody help me with this?)
Hey! In houdini, points are rendered as spheres. This just means that you have not copied any geometry to the sprinkles points. Check to make sure that your render flag is on the correct object and it should work. I hope that helps👍
My Donut is like super bright lool
when i render it gets flipped any help?
why is my render upside down
Same here. Even pressing H in the viewport does not help. Does anybody know how to solve this problem?
Pressing H solved the problem as i remember.
idk why but when i am rendering it doest showing the sprinkles its showing red and white balls
