    My last truck was a 2015 Tacoma TRD sport. Same color too. But damn! You sold me on the new one. I'll buy it as soon as it drops to $30k.

    That Sir is the TRD Sport Premium not to be confused with the TRD Sport or TRD Sport + which both don't have the 14" Toyota Multimedia and many other features you are talking about..

    I'm a long time Tacoma owner (1996, 2000, 2020,) and prefer the SR5 all around. Not for over 35k though. These don't depreciate either, so you'll be waiting more than 7 years for any deals. Everything should be hybrid these days. So I went with a RAV4 prime with a trailer, and rent/borrow a pickup when I need one. ;)

    • @VagabondBuilds
      @VagabondBuilds  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You’re super right about the no depreciation haha

    • @Ego_Katana
      @Ego_Katana 26 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Exactly why I bought the SR5. Got mine for under 40K. Same suspension and engine as "Sport" ... $8k is not worth the extra sensors, screen, and interior to me.

    • @skyrunr
      @skyrunr 26 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@Ego_Katana The Sport leased (bought pre-Covid and flipped,) better than the SR5 when I got my 2020. The only thing "TRD" on it was the stickers, Hitachi (not Bilstein) shocks, and hood scoop. No crawl, no locking diff, no BFG tires! Back then the base SR5's didn't have keyless entry/start, and I'm not going back to keys!

    Just an opinion here !!!
    Love the design ❤ huge fan !!!
    Not a fan of the engine, have worked around to many turbo engines VW , and boy do they have issues 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️
    Everytime he mention a camera I get chills and not in a good way 🤦🏻‍♂️ electronics going to break , so this won’t be 20 years later truck like previous gens
    I would probably be ok just with an SR eventually, I own a 2018 TRD OR 2wd 60k miles and love it
    I feel like so many cameras make people more dependent on them and they don’t really measure their cars NO more , I almost got pushed off the road by a Dang Tesla at the stop light I told the guy , “ you didn’t see me ???”
    He apologized and Said , My CAMERA did NOT Beep 😠🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

    I See vent grill on rear console but is that functional??? Ranger has no passenger vent, which to me, vent helps cool off cab also...... I'm thinking Taco also has no passenger vent!!!!

      @VagabondBuilds I get that saying and staying under the umbrella of reliability it's a thing, and I agree it's an important factor, but toyota, it's not immune to problems from factory or long-term reliability and ive own tacos with problems and without problems . 99% of us use trucks not just for the video and likes.

    • @RecBuddha
      @RecBuddha 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I really don't get this, but see it all the time from people trying to find any excuse to complain about. It is a mid-size truck, not a giant SUV where air from the front might have trouble reaching the back. The interior is not much bigger than a compact car (I'd say my Tacoma's interior is only slightly bigger than my Corolla's). It takes no time for the heat/cooling to alter the temperature of the entire cab once it kicks in, as it is pretty small volume. My kids sit in the back seat all the time, and it has never been a problem or concern that would affect my buying decision.

    • @skyrunr
      @skyrunr 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The vents are usually under the seats (2020,) but only work of the floor option is selected. For $30ea you can put in heated seat covers.

    Not even trying to be a jerk, but you keep pointing at the fender flare on the SR5 saying "no fender flares". Maybe they're not as pronounced as the Sport?

    • @VagabondBuilds
      @VagabondBuilds  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The fender on the SR5 is one piece. The fender on the other is a 2 piece fender. (Fender and flare are two different pieces

    • @RecBuddha
      @RecBuddha 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The SR/SR5 have a small flare stamped into the metal of the fender as you can see in the video. The TRD and up trims (Sport, OR, etc) also have an additional plastic flair piece attached on top of that, that makes it look wider/more aggressive.
