Thanks, this was really helpful because I am building a pc and wanted to know which fans were the same as my cooler, turned out to be the AF120 elite rgb fans. Thank you!
I know this is an older video, but I recently upgraded from old LL fans to some newer RX iCUE LINK fans. While the RGB is a little dimmer, not near as vivid or bright, the cooling performance and CFM’s are substantially better with the RX. It’s one of their highest CFM models and are great for getting that hot air exhausted out of the case
LL fans go up to 2200 RPM depending on whether you get the white or black versions. also QL fans have a horrible hot spot on each LED, and worse performance than any other LED fan corsair offers.
Qx is probably the best fan they have ever made to be honest. It offers the silence that the ML series brings. The static pressure and cfm that the AF elite brings and SP model. The rgb and beauty that the QL, LL and AL brings. And best of all it had the best cable system out of all of them providing the easiest and simplest cable management. Only downside that they are expensive as shit and cost as much as a mid to high end computer depending on how much fans you need. I have the qx fans and they are amazing and i dont regret it at all.
If the ML model is discontinued then it most likely because they had a horrible rattle noise at 800-1200 rpm. I bought 12 of them and I had to return all of them. Now I am using Be Quiet, lower noise, cooler systems with more airflow. (I have videos about the noise on my channel)
Thank you, it’s the EXACT video I was looking for
Shout out Corsair for making their naming schemes so confusing that I made it to this video 😂
Another really useful video! Makes it easy to figure out what I have already. Good stuff.

Thanks for the help!
Really useful video !!
I have the af elite icue ones the icue software doesn’t detect them or the pump what do I do 😮
Thanks a lot, that was very informative!
what about the AR???
I can't find any reviews on that model anywhere except the typical Corsair marketing which make anything sound like a dream
so helpful!
I didn’t look work you made this video but I know you said 2023 and they have made another one called the qx model fans, there very neat. 👌
Ótimo vídeo, meus parabéns!
Seu vídeo é o mais completo que eu achei. 🫡🇧🇷
Can i control the Corsair RAM colors also in that software to match the fans?
Anything corsair branded is customizable in the ICUE software. You can choose to match the RAM to the colours of your fans too.

Never said how LL or QL operates better as a AF or SP fan
Just a note realised the RS fans don't have icue so go directly into motherboard.
QX Modells ?

dont bother with af120s, they stop working properly and make loud noises after only a year of use from me. would never let a friend purchase these
What about AR120?
10/10
