I get why people use iPhones, it has a really premium feel, smooth, beautiful and gets the job done easily. If you can afford it it is the best "no compromise phone" out there. But people who use iPhones have NO idea what they are missing out on (for free).
    Vanced, literally free youtube premium.
ANY apk mod's, again free apps.
Split screen, floating window, bubbles (way better multitasking).
Reverse wireless charging, has helped me keep my watch running just enough to complete the day.
Fast charging (go ahead an say we don't need it cuz good battery life) but trust me, there will be times when you are grateful for it.
Unlimited Google photo storage via Pixel custom rom (have backed up more than 80gb + media) (seamless transfer between phone and pc)
Using phone as an external SSD with any Operating System.
The mods I use personally (photo storage, vanced, editing apps, media apps, vpn's) cost more than 8000 rs a month for subscriptions/service
Call me cheap/scam, I've never been more grateful in using an android.

But lemme tell you I find myself reaching out to my Pixel more often than my iPhone. The Android experience is so good and you have to experience it on a Pixel. Well, whenever it comes to point and shoot (I take a lot of videos and pics of my children) nothing compares to what an iPhone can do. @@ifasal7449 Hi... I would say price is a very important factor to consider. Iphones are going to be really expensive compared to Pixel phones. Now that being said I would think about what are those features which are really valuable to me to stretch my budget to buy an iPhone. Coz for everything else Pixel does a FANTASTIC job. Personally for me I only see the new 48MP camera setup and Cinematic video as features which I really want to have. Also having proven it's capabilities in the 13 line of phones, I'm sure it's only going to be better on 14. And since I already own a Pixel 3a my itch to have the best smartphone experience is also covered. But if it's your first big decision on how much to spend and on what, I would say think about your 'needs' and then make a decision. Pixel 7 & Pixel 7 pro is expected to have really great cameras and Google isn't going to shy away from bringing the Portrait mode on video as well (Samsung's already done it). And I hear there is a 50 MP camera setup on the new Pixel lineup. It's only a matter of couple of months if you can wait.

I also have used androids in the past but switched to the iPhone 11 when it came out, it is much simpler but it actually is far better, it’s not as customizable, but it is still more than enough. I have a gut feeling that iPhone15 or may be 16 will come up with all these new specs but with much more stable and fluid performance. iPhone doesn’t offer a lot of things when compared to top end androids. But it gives solid experience with whatever things it does give. Stability, consistency and an overall all round sort of experience is what I think puts Apple over Android phones who pretty much have to haste things up because of competition with other contemporary androids. And also it’s the consistency that holds an already in user of iPhone. That’s why more people switch to iPhone from android than the other way around. And plus Apple has that cool status in social media.

I'd argue IOS is doesn't do a lot well. It does some well, and the everyday stuff poorly. And I got no clue why these issues aren't brought up when comparing android and iOS.
The fact that "," and "." Is hidden behind a button is insane. Even the shortcuts for it is slower(this is a consistent theme with IOS). Apple, for some reason, have put everyday stuff behind extra steps, or shortcuts that takes more time.
Predictive text on iOS is incredibly slow and bad at finding words. Why is there a delay? Cause on Android its instant. And why is it so bad at finding the correct word? And let's not forget about the absolute headache IOS makes if you're bilingual. Btw downloading an app to fix these won't fix these issues properly
No T9 dialing, and the fastest shortcut swipe from the middle and search, which can't be done everywhere. And then you have to go through probably the biggest issue of IOS. Moving between apps
Moving between apps, even after you google for hours to find the best way is so annoying. Not only are the gestures slower then a back button. The way they've done it makes it for a painful and cluttered experience instead of a smooth and tidy one. since they don't have a back button, all apps made their own, making it very inconsistent.
The settings menu, and changing settings. Oh man, I work with all kinds of production machinery, old and new with all kinds of UIs. And I haven't seen such a messy and I consistent settings menu in quite some time. On Android its overall menu is neater, but all the settings are in the submenus that are relevant to each other. On IOS it's not.
Also on Android let's say you go into some battery menu and you didn't find what you were looking for, it will suggest to you where to find other battery related settings, at the bottom, and you only need to click the link to find it. This doesn't exist on IOS, and the settings are less grouped together by relevance.
The settings menu is so bad on IOS that I don't understand how those who made it, didn't get fired.
And then you have the issue with 3rd party devices. And I've had my Iphone 13 for over a month now, and I've so far experience issues with nearly every 3rd part device I got, even a battery bank and chargers, that has the correct voltage and amperage. Also how does IOS not automatically know what a headset is? That happens automatically on Android, IOS doesn't and you have to fiddle around with manually telling it what device it is. there is no setting for headset with microphone. so you have to try different settings and hope it works. Or else you ant answers calls properly
These are just some of the daily issues. The more Productivity you want from IOS, the worse it gets.
I went in with the mindset of IOS being good, cause I heard it over the years that it's supposed to be a smoother experience and more consistent. And I knew I had to spend time to get used to and find ways to move around. I didn't not expect it to be as bad as it is. How they can implement such bad software into such good hardware is beyond me. I wanted smoothness and efficiency but all I got was inconsistency, cluttered menus and extra steps added to nearly every menial task.

I own a Pixel 7 Pro at the moment and I can easily admit that all apple products are fantastic. not everyone cares about floating windows, developer options as you see on android phones. iPhone has a TON of tricks and features that can be used and the battery life is remarkable. ive owned more iPhones than Androids but ill probably back to iOS this year. I bought my Pixel 7 pro in December and I don't care for Samsung phones.

I don't understand why most TH-camrs don't highlight the differences in basic functionalities which gives a better picture of the overall experience when switching from either operating system.
If I watched only this video when I was considering switching to iPhone because all of my friends are iPhone users, I would've bought an iPhone already and would've been extremely frustrated because there are a lot of features on android that I use constantly and mindlessly that are not in the iPhone such as the clipboard, separate volume for alarm, media, and calls, scrolling screenshot, the freaking back button/function, etc... I initially thought the only things I would need to give up are the split screen and floating windows which I also use a lot but turned out those are just the tip of the iceberg.
Good thing I watched a ton of videos before committing to an iPhone 14 Pro. I would've struggled a lot. iPhones are great and that's why I always contemplate buying one but there are tons of things on android that I can't give up and it's not even the customization that reviewers hyperfixate on during comparisons.

Once you login to a new iPhone it'll ask two options "Send data, for personalised ads or do not personalise ads". If privacy and security are your only concerns, buy a VPN pack, don't waste money on the iPhone. I have been using android for last 10 year and just switched to iphone 14 pro this last week. I think the price is high (except USA) compared to last year. The dynamic island is brilliantly integrated , HOWEVER, i do not think this can be a reason to upgrade from iphon 13 pro (or even 12 pro). Secondly there is an app "Move to IOS" which is found in play store, that app transferred all my contacts, messages, photos and whatsapp to IOS. Also, they asked if I want to bring the apps as well or not. So it installed all the app that I had in my android (just had to login). I am a very regular user, do not go for extreme gaming or do not watch videos 24 hours a day. battery remains good for me for almost 2 days. I was quite bored with android like while upgrading I felt like I am getting a new phone but I will know what I am going to get. SO I thought to move to iphone and its working pretty well. But after using as my main phone, i got 1 day of battery backup which is good from a 3200+/- mAh battery

I still prefer my s22 ultra. I personally feel that IOS apps management is way better but the restrictions it has, I love customising my phone alot so apple simply not for me, moreover Having different chargers instead of one type c can be problem when with friends and family 🙄

Bcz Apple provides security whereas in android you use app to customise phone which. Ẩn literally hack your phone

Can't believe how and why TechWiser would have just a million subscribers, not that it is a small number. But they deserve way more like wayyyy more. One barrier could be the language because I have seen sh**ty tech TouTube channels catering to hindi audience scoring way above, but no match to TechWiser, have been a subscriber from the early days and I also have a TH-cam channel still in learning phase though :) cheers to TechWiser !!

I switched from op8t to 14 pro. Can’t believe I’m saying this but with ios 16 it’s more fun to use than android. And the premiumness this phone offers is just on another level.

@Vishnu don't compare 1100 $ iphone to cheap 300 $ android. Compare 1000$ android to specially Samsung S22 Ultra, you will find no difference in performance.

also both the 13 pro max and the 14 pro max have better battery life than the s22 ultra. no excuses there.
Parker Burton (a huge android fan) used the 12 pro max (2020) and said he gets more battery life than on his s22 ultra. thats a two year difference.
