The 70watt@4 ohms was the amp turned all the up. I’m thinking about getting that and the JL C2-690T for my bike there rated at 70watt continuous and the amp required to be 15-125 watt
david curtis I bought one a limb to try it out, had a very loud hiss sound. I tried everything from switching grounds, power wire, speaker wire etc it didn't matter I couldn't get it to go away. Had to return it
I notice your doing a short text in 76 degree temps on an open bench. How does this amp fair with a true musical load in real world situations, such as in a dash at about 150 degrees? I like your approach, but I don't think its a practical test. It s lab test. Lab tests are what the OEM use to make their figures look better.
no doubt that's why the tested power outputs are so much greater than mfg claims - once the heat rises in that tiny enclosed space you've stuffed them into on your boat, the true power output diminishes back to the mfg claimed power
Yep. 2015. You can finally hear the speakers with the top down. With the 77kick10 drop in Kicker 6.5's it gets so loud you can't listen at 25 on the radio without hurting.
Chase Tretbar I got this amp but I can't put the gains up passed 25% without getting white noise out of the twitters on the front channel . The soundbar speakers get loud though your right. I whelmed up
Chase Tretbar Getting a kenwood ddx 394 head unit and putting a pioneer 10" down fire sub with a mono alpine amp. Sounds good with the top on. I haven't had the top off with set-up yet.

I am running this amp bridged to a pair of MX650s in my side by side and it rocks.
How do you bridge it, I have the jl 8.8 speakers and same amp

Did you do a test just at 12v? I'm thinking about getting one of these and hooking up to a basic 12 volt marine battery.
Can you Dyno the MB Quart NA1-320.4? It would also be nice to have all the mini amps done to see which gives you the best bang for your buck.
JL AUDIO has always made really good amps? Have you ever tested any AD Designs amps?

can you guys dyno test JL Audio HD amps?

What was the frequency used for this dyno? Just curious.
