the differences are minimal. Variations in components, torioid windings, etc. can account for the 1-4% differences in measurements. Trust me, you would not be able to tell the difference in a real world scenario. 2
i have 2 apcl 15001d amps and one i got from sonic electronix. 1 is pushing a single mtx 7500 series 15 the other on 2 alpine type r the only reason i got the second one was my first one was a year old and still as good as new.. no complaints from me.
I run crescendo amps, I have a sundown scv amp, and I've ran an incriminator 40.1. They were beast, I have also ran hifonics brz1200d. It never quit, and now I'm running this apcl1500d. its really good for less than $200. I have it in my work truck on a single Dayton ultimax 12 @ 4 ohms. It pushes it to the limit. I've actually blown one already. User error, but still, its just like all the other 1500 amps. Almost all of these budget amps have very similar boards and there's not much difference. price usually dictates the similarities in amps... most of the time. My crescendo 4500 is very similar to twisted sounds 3.5k. Same price just about, and the aq soundquebed amps are just like the crescendo, skar, etc. Anyways its a good amp for the money. You won't regret it.
Crescendo and DC Audio use the same boards have the same rated power on the 3500 I think it was Big D Wiz that made a video on that I'm not sure but a lot of people are starting to open up amps and exposing the similarity of higher end and cheaper amps for instance the difference in price between the crescendo 3500 and the DC Audio 3500 I believe was almost $200 and it was the same damn amp with the same damn power
installerman40 The burst test simulates music. I listen to music not test tones in my car so these numbers are a good way to show the dynamic power the amp is capable of. I got around 2800W dynamic at 0.5 ohms with this amp on my Dyno. These can be strapped too. I'm usually not a fan of budget amps, but these are an exception.

This is the 3rd test done on the same amp on the SMD dyno and at almost identical voltage and impedence they all 3 have different measurements that can only lead me to one thing, the dyno isn't correct or even close. I have also see the amp tested on a $30k dollar kippal tester and it was far below what this dyno said. Like the highest it had on even .5 was 1200 watts rms dynamic so it's awfully funny on this dyno it does almost double.
Have this hooked to to American bass 12s 1000 watt rms.. With gain adjusted down as to not blow the subs but the amp won't play sound agywr just two months and shows a blue light subs work on a different amp. Any ideas..
Can all Audiopipe amps run 16.5 volts? I have a APMN 1500 and I use a powermax 100 amp power supply. I cannot find that max voltage for this anywhere. Would love to run it at 16 volts if I could to get the max power at 4ohms. Also can you show the amp draw on the tests you do. Would help alot. Thanks!!
Yeah Waldo got to of these amps with 2 audiopipe txx bd 3s in a box at 1 Ohm tuned at 32 Hz running at 15.4 volts this shit slams. I don't care what anyone says about these amps had my amps bout 2 year's never had a problem with them never gets to hot even when playing 4 long periods at a time so 2 whom ever wanna spend big money on name brands do your thing im sticking with what I got peace

+erik h dont forget that you would have more distortion in the amplifier so you wouldn't be able to turn the gain up as much so like you said it wouldn't do much better.

I want to run this in a Nissan leaf. since it's all electric I have no alternator. the charging system for the 12 volt dc side it a single 12 car battery and 50 amp dc to dc charger (12 gets charged from the 400 volt drive battery). how do you hook it up?
nbookie You are limited to 600 w charging capacity 12x50=600 so you are limited on the power you can utilise without flattening the battery, even with a bigger battery you will need to give the volume knob a rest to let the battery charge back up.

Just purchased another one from sonic yesterday (2nd one from them) and if this one craps im going to be HOTT! Dosent look like they are very durable.
B. Brazy 12v batteries are represented by the 14v test. So yes. And your stock electrical system is probably more like 13.5 fully charged and 11.5 when the car is not running
B. Brazy 30min on full tilt is enough to blow any amp it depends on how your gains are set. This is running a class D but it is also a Brazilian circuit so it will overheat somewhat quickly.

But of course, their best seller amp, the Boss amplifiers will never get tested.

don't buy, will never buy audiopipe again. They are built cheap and break after a couple months of use. I ran mine at 1 ohm and it blew an internal resistor and sent straight DC offset straight to my 400$ speakers, ruining them. I switched to an Alpine MRX-m110 amp after that and it's been running strong for 3 years.

I just got this amp haven't booked up yet but now I feel damn good about seeing what it can really do installed with actual music

i ran this on 1ohm pushing 2 12inch p2's and the amp would get really hot and shut off its a good amp for the money but i suggest running 2ohms
