Very nicely done! A note on your tires, an observation I made as a truck driver on dirt roads, is that the side walls of the tires will get dusty from the dirt, but the surface that contacts the road, doesn't retain much dirt at all. Just enough to give the rubber a little discoloration. And that was from 7 years of driving a truck in the mountains in Colorado. Very dusty and dry in the summer, and slick and icy in the winter! Same thing for planes too, especially on paved runways, the surface that contacts to pavement stays fairly clean compared to the sides of the tires.
The return rollers and the main wheels, and on the top of the tank where the sand got trapped. You can also spread it all over the tank (depending on how much you want to weather it.) and then blow the excess off or tap it off. This will give it a dusty coat. Do this before the other steps. Ps. I meant to make it one comment but I accidentally sent it while I was correcting it.

I received a few kits built kits from a work colleague including this one that his father built. I just finished rebuilding a early Tiger and after seeing this video I am inspired to take apart this recon vehicle and rebuilt it in this color scheme. I'll have to order some german cross decals which I can use on the other models as well. Your videos ( or should I say your modeling skills) are give me the inspiration and drive to build all these kits I received from my colleague. Great work David. Always look forward to see what else you're working on!

Yeah, the Germans always had the best tanks and armour. This is just one of the versions the Germans developed. The armored vehicle that they used the most was the Sd. Kfz. 251 (1). Search it on Google to see how it looks.

The rust dots you do are great, but I believe that no such thing can appear on the welding lines. Tires with this kit look a bit odd. Can they be substituted with resin ones? If you do German armor, let me know, either here or through Google Plus. I will send you some mask samples from our shop. I think you will find them more realistic compared to the decals you used. I have problems using tamyia panel line accent, even if I apply a gloss coat when I wipe the excesses out the paint underneath result damaged, any tips?
I am a bit surprised you didn't do something similar to your T-34, connecting the upper and lower halves with only magnets, allowing someone to look at the interior.
Your videos are great and I know take a lot of work. Not to add more work for you but I like the ones where you narrate even better than the ones with just the (nicely chosen) music.

Regarding access to the interior. A silly question: How hard is to modify the model structure so the body and the chassis separate, so the beautiful interior can be displayed if desired?

Excellent build - as usual - of an excellent model. I remember building the Tamiya Sd.Kfz 222 years ago and it wasn't as detailed at this one.

That's the problem with the MAJORITY of modelers i've seen. They use weathering effects that simply don't/didn't EVER exist.

What varnish and colors do you use?
I use acrylic colors and varnish (usually ammo of MIG).
Is it because it's acrylic?
I had ever built the old Tamiya's when I was a boy. But this model is very nice. Also your building is excellent !
