- North African front. The Afrika Korps led by Rommel, wearing desert camouflage, waged a fierce battle against the Allied forces in the Sahara Desert. In the harsh environment, the desert sand scraped off the vehicle's desert camouflage like a file, and the intense scorching sunlight caused the camouflage paint to fade rapidly. This time, the theme of the production is to use the reconnaissance vehicle Sd.Kfz.232 to recreate the severely peeled and damaged desert camouflage of the time. It's been a while since I've done Hairspray Chippin, how is the finish? So please enjoy it to the fullest until the very end.
北アフリカ戦線。砂漠迷彩を施されたロンメル率いるアフリカ軍団は、サハラ砂漠の一旦で連合軍との激しい戦いを繰り広げたのです。過酷な環境の中、砂漠の砂はヤスリの様に車両の砂漠迷彩を削り剥がし、強烈な灼熱の日差しはやはり迷彩の塗装を急激に褪色させました。今回は偵察車両であるSd.Kfz.232を使い、当時の激しく剥がれ傷んだ砂漠迷彩を再現する事が制作のテーマです。久しぶりのへースプレーチッピン、その仕上がり具合はいかがでしょうか・・・？？？ それでは、じっくりと最後まで、存分にお楽しみください。

😭 It's watching superb model making like this that makes me wish I didn't start buying kits again and look to getting back into the hobby. The agony of thinking how long and how much practice it's going to take to get anywhere near as good, as good I want, gives me chest pains!
It's a hobby that should be fun, but if you strive for perfection too much, it can become painful and suffocating. It's okay to be self-satisfied, and don't forget to enjoy your hobbies with ease and grace.🍰🍩🍪☕🫖
@@smc-2 You know, those are wise words indeed. After all, that's what it was all about as an 8 year old - ah the memories of those tube glues and the aroma of Humbrol enamel paints are flooding back. But yeah, it was all about fun
I was getting too wrapped up in all that analysis paralysis. What am I saying, was... am _still_ and I should start out small, have an idea how I want to go it, but expect duds. Although, that said, not much around that's inexpensive these days.
But I shall take your advice and get myself into that state of mind and leave the 1/16 Das Werk kits for later. Cheers ✌
