    Can you move the control panel to the right hand side? When I am in Jamboard, I cannot select the draw tool because it's covered. I know there is an option of hiding it but it's hard to remember the commands to pause etc while recording.

    • @NewEdTechClassroom
      @NewEdTechClassroom  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't think you can (at least I'm not aware of a way), but on the desktop version, you can open up the preferences and change the shortcuts to something easier to remember, though I realize that still isn't quite what you're looking for.

    Awesome tool and excellent video! As you were looking directly into the camera (and not at a laptop screen), how did you manage to synchronize what you were saying to precisely match up with all of the steps being shown in the b-roll projected onto the green screen behind you??

    Thank you very much for all of your instructional videos. I am going to try Loom as well as Nearpod. Anything that the students don't have to sign in to with s passcode is a plus. Where or how are you implementing the red arrow throughout the video? I found it odd that you never mentioned it? I figured at the 7:01 mark you would comment on it when talking about the draw tool, but surprisingly it went without an explanation. If possible, please confirm as it appears to be a useful tool that is separate from Loom. Thank you!

    • @NewEdTechClassroom
      @NewEdTechClassroom  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey J. Yeah the red arrow and some of the other annotations are tools I added with another platform called Screenflow. It's about $100, only runs on Mac, and has a bit of a learning curve so I don't recommend it to most teachers. But it does help make more professional screencasts for the TH-cam channel. Sorry about the confusion!

    Hi!
    I'm recording my math video lessons on Loom + Tablet + Power Point, where I solve the exercises with the PowerPoint pen while recording.
    During recording, the pen appears as a small dot in the chosen color, but when the video is finished, when playing it, the pen appears with a much larger symbol adorning the video (see an attached video). This happens only in Loom and does not happen with other recording applications. Could you help me solve this problem?
    I reinforce that my account is educational.

    • @NewEdTechClassroom
      @NewEdTechClassroom  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Theresa, thanks! Yeah, I wouldn't use it for that purpose, just to quickly point out things on the screen. You might want to use a tool like Jamboard + EquatIO or Hypatia for math equations to actually teach the math and then make a Loom recording of yourself doing it. I show this a little bit toward the end of my Jamboard video.
