If you were young in the 80s this song brings back such a flood of emotions. The iconic wedding of Scott and Charlene, but also all the hope, dreams and nervous excitement we had for our own futures. Beautiful that this song can bring that all back and still remain so timeless.

I was 15 when the wedding took place and I sneek previewed it after my sister recorded it for later viewing. I had tears in my eyes and this song just melted my heart.❤😊🤗

Scott mills played this on radio 2 this morning after announcing neighbours will be no longer . Thirty years later still sounds as lovely as it did when I was ten watching Charlene and Scott tie the knot 🥰
I wouldn't be surprised if we get to hear this again in Neighbours when Jason Donovan and Kylie Minogue return to the show as Scott and Charlene for the final episode at the beginning of August.
I could definitely see it being used in the finale if they have a montage of all the characters, looking back at storylines and memories from the last 37 years depending on how the show ends.
I don't think there'll be a dry eye in the house if we get to hear this again before the end of the show when Kylie and Jason return to Ramsay Street.
All these years later, it still releases such emotion every time i hear it. Powerful, beautiful and emotive. Thankyou Angry

I’ve loved this song since Scott & Charlene got married on Neighbours in 1987. The musical arrangement is seriously outdone - both at the time of release and forevermore - by Angry’s vocalisation on this particular song. Fuck if Angry is beyond perfect…his singing on this track is sublime.

It's 2021. You know in your heart that most modern music is trash. You put this on, air guitar-ing at 2:41 and remembering those golden, golden days that ended sometime in the late 90s.
You said it ... this tune and a lot of others during those magical times called the 80s and 90s had that creative spark that is so absent in modern songs. I just found this Angry Anderson song ahead after not having heard it for decades and I was instantly transported to the late 80s, that distinctive sound from the good old days, when talent was everywhere and the hits just kept coming. Even one hit wonders had their staying power. Sometimes an artist needed one really excellent song to make a mark on a generation of music fans. I listen to the contemporary music on the radio and I go 'meh', 'or heard it a thousand times already', ... I prefer my music to express some kind of powerful emotion or vibe. Or sometimes just a really good beat and catchy refrain is all I need.
