Out of God knows how many battles, this one is hands down my absolute favorite and it might just be one of my abolute favorite things of all three movies. I just love the dedication, the fact that they knew they had little to no chance of winning but still they fought and held on until dawn and the moment Gandalf appears and comes down with Eomer and all the men is basically poetry if you ask me. I know most of the credits go to Aragorn because he's awesome and all but can I just say that I love King Théoden? He didn't flinch one second, even when it came to stepping back and letting Aragorn lead and on top of it all he recognizes that Aragorn made the difference which makes me love Eowyn because she tells him that he, too, is a man of valor which is SO true omg I can't even with HOW MUCH I LOVE ALL THIS!
