I think they are both a good way of preserving your games. Personally, there is nothing like opening up a game case, it brings back such good memories. But, like Mr. Wright Way said, that's why you have multiples.
I always wanted somebody to make a video open their wata cases and see if they still have the game inside or not.
Can you imagine if they took the game out
how does game grading work if the item is used. Is there really only a market for sealed graded games?
Good video.
I haven’t subbed to CGC yet but I plan on having a few of my games graded with them in the future. I’ve subbed twice to Wata, and both were positive grading results. VGA is currently grading a few of my larger case games atm. I’m looking forward to the grades.
As for case preference, I like VGA. Too bad their grading cost is expensive. So I don’t use them as often as I’d like to.
Are those new WATA cases 3D Banner or 2D Flat Top label styles?
I got the entire MGS2 on VHS I want to get graded. I can’t find a copy of it anywhere else.
How do u package ur games b4 sending it in?
I'm not familiar with what's going on with Wata. What's the story with them?
I like VGA 🙂
I think I like the Gold sticker and acrylic case on VGA and then CGC has a nice label.
Hi Steve, just wondering is VGA still around?
It is
Why does it say Collectors Edition on the WATA Tears of the Kingdom? Is that the game that came out of a collectors edition big box? Or is it simply graded wrong?
He took the copy out of Collector’s Edition to have graded. This version has a tiny text on the back that says Not for Resale. That’s how you differentiate it. Personally, I rather grade the entire collectors edition box as a whole with VGA
@@TrinhNguyen-85 Got it, thats what I thought. I'm still learning about grading. Not entirely sold on it yet.
Great comparison. They look amazing in those cases. I would go with CGC. I like the side view when storing and they have been a company for a while now.
...hell freezes over.
Hell doesn’t care about your feelings lol
I just don’t want to get my games graded and it’s really not a priority right now. Maybe later down the road maybe but it’s just not for me.
The issue and card grading is similar: the longer a card ages the more heavily scrutinized it becomes. Games you have now that would be a 9.8 may be a 9.4 or 9.6 by then. It's an inherit bias from graders
CGC is the way too go
. Fair hold times and half the price as WATA.
People, if you don't like graded games, move on to another video lol..No one cares about your graded video games hate lol
😅
I like the look of wata better but i heard bad stuff about them 😮
Cgc is best
I don 't honor either one for grading both are shady, and they can be fooled. Sealed in box can be faked with little effort so without knowing what is in the box it does not meaning anything. When I authenticate a games cartridge it has to be opened and check. When I authenticate a disk the artwork on the disk has to be authenticated.
Hello!
What's up my dude
If I were to choose I would use CGC. I don't like talking about other YT creators in peoples comments but Karl Jobst did a very good video on WATA's shady business practices.
He did
Screw wata. Why do people still support this company after all the scandals?
Wow.. this made you THAT UPSET lol
WATA games goes for about the same price or slightly more than CGC. The company’s reputation of driving up the price of games and the ongoing lawsuit does not delegitimize the actual grading process of the games itself. A Pokémon WATA game will always be worth a lot even if the company shuts down in the future. That’s why CGC is willing to crossgrade WATA games. That said, I prefer the CGC cases because they are centered when you look at them from the sides. WATA pushes the game closer toward the front for Switch games and some other format for some reason
Not a big fan of graded video games. Those who like using them, I rate them as “resellers”, “collectors”, or “investors”.
Does that make you better?
C'est sans intérêt de faire ça !
Such a scam
Did you watch the video or did the thumbnail make you uncomfortable
I don‘t like neither of them. I don‘t see the point in grading games! Games need to be played and not only looked at😉.
cards and comics you can see why but I don't see the purpose of video games plus they both have shady dealings.
why cover the game with more plastic when you can open it and play it!
Because it’s more ways to play it , you KNOW THIS.. we’ll you might not.. its such a weak argument but I can see why people don’t like it.
I’ts like a Pokémon cards…, you play with or you grade them 😆 Nothing wrong with this @ Isthatchicken01
neither of them. Don't take part in the larger perspective that is essentially money laundering ;)
Lol
I don't think you know what money laundering is...
Buying anything on the market especially collectables is a good way for one to launder but that goes for everything on the secondary markets that hold value especially fine art, ppl who don't know launder always complain about collectibles and the war in Ukraine but not the casinos the #1 place to launder...
This is some spicy cringe
But you watched lol
Also they paid me too ☺️
