So, our videos seemed to have intersected perfectly today haha
It did lol
I was thinking the same thing
Truthfully grading is something I will never get into, just never made sense to me. But this was a great vid nonetheless 😊
It's just for youtubers based in the USA. Makes for good content.
No ordinary collector will grade their games, imho.
Insane grading, insane Japan trip, can't wait for more because I'm planning to go to Japan sometime in May-June. I hope you give us lots of tips about your trips on games, locations, places to see etc. I'm so glad I found your channel, stay real and have fun always!! Love the vibes! Oh, and Persona 2 is like crazy expensive, wow what a piece to have!!
I not a fan of grading lable and how it looks but I do like that the plastic protects the games to preserve them. I would do the same as well always good to have some investment that you can use if need be as you never know what unexpected bill might come up.
Looking forward to seeing all the footage from your Japan trip! 🇯🇵
I opened some evolutions new old stock pcjs and pulled 3 charizards sent them all for grading to.
Nice grades bro. Can't wait to see some footage from Japan!
Thanks man
Did you do some pre grade estimates? I'm curious how they evaluated vs how you thought they would!
Oh, and unreal Barbie game 🐶
Nah this was my first time. I had these I. The collection and just see what would happen
Oh shit haha that's awesome
@@blockbusterlatefees7713 😂
Had a few trades myself to get Jak and daxter on PS4 which is super F****g expensive now😭. Glad to have you back in one piece brother🙏🏾
Its crazy I didnt even know about persona.. I heard about it from my daughter because she was obsessed with it I just knew of it since the 4th one I think. She 13 knows all anime and is a great artist. Maybe I'll have her draw you something bro. I'm 36 and was never really into anime except like sailor moon..and I love shenmue for the dreamcast. But glad you had a good trip. Nice vid again. Thanks man
I think I’d be cool to have a few grade games eventually. I forgot you found that Smash Bros sealed at a GameStop! It’s crazy that you not only have that Barbie game but sealed and graded as well!
What was it like grading with them? Would you say it’s better than VGC?
Why did you choose CGC over the other companies
That persona 2 is insane, playing it on the psp atm, nice one man
Did you pickup the dragon quest metal slime 2ds XL in Japan? That thing is so sick. Expensive to import
No I didn’t
Whats it cost through cgc to grade games ?
14 days in Japan ❤ my other friend from Retromoments is in Japan atm. I never got any games graded it sounds like a expensive thing to do and one day you plan on selling your collection 😮?
Really cool grades I enjoy the video
Wow...someone made a reaction video to your video! Getting big time!!!
How do you mail them for grading? I have a pretty rare Hong Kong release PS3 game I am interested in grading.
Wata only grades imports
Welcome home!
Can't wait for the Nippon month!!
I like that lol
That's awesome sir! Protect your collection 🎉
Thank you
🙏🏼
How long was the waiting till u received them back from CGC
Two weeks
Great Stuff Steve! Good Grade for Barbie
Thanks brother
What's grading a game?
What made you choose cgc over vga ?
Better reputation in a comic book world
Nice!!
I love Japan Can’t Wait
See you on the next one 😊😊😊
Awsome
😎👍👉#MrWrightWay grading games the #WrightWay...
500 dollars for Persona 2? game collecting is expensive thank goodness for emulation lol
It’s better with trades
Didn’t you hate grading like a year ago? Talk about how it’s ruining collecting and all that? What made you come around?
Go back and watch what I said a year ago? The video is still up I didn’t say that. Also I explained it in this video.
Didn’t mean any offense. If you’re happy with them then that’s all that matters!
@@inasuma8180why would you think I’m offended?? I answered your questions. Did you watch the videos?
@@MrWrightWay It’s hard to read intent through text and I realize in hindsight my questions were a little antagonistic. Lol of course I watched! It’s been a long time since your old ones though. Love the smash and Barbie returns.
@@inasuma8180 awesome :)
Will there be a only Japan video coming up? 😊 person 2 is 500 bucks omg! I ordered my first persona game ever i get it tomorrow in the mail 😊
so melee has a couple sales for graded copies and 9.0 for 1200 and 9.4 1300.....sell that melee and u will make such a huge profit
I don’t want to right now
@@MrWrightWay understandable but i was just letting u know. dunno if u checked because u usually say it int he video
@@imwithyou38 thank you for the info
Can't fake the FUNK! 😂 Glad that the grades came back as "passing"!
ha
Never say never 😂
yep
The grading industry just seems like a grift to me. It is not standardized and always clouded in controversy. Some grading companies have even been in court for unfair/illegal practices. I will only get one thing graded in my life and it will be 100% to sell it. The MTG unlimited set.
Did you watch the video
@@MrWrightWay Yes I watched all of it. I hope you never get into a situation where you need to sell your collection again. You are one of the only people (maybe even the only person) that admits that grading items are for selling them later. I appreciate the honesty. This just looks like Tulip mania or the coin collector market all over again.
@@moandaindesigns thank you. Yes grading is for selling

Gotta love Mr Wright Way just gives us good content doesn't try to be a failed musician just stays in his lane and that's why he's blessed!!! 💪🏿🔥
Lol
Dang you spent $500 in trades for Persona 2 ?
No I traded $500 work of games. S lot of common trades
No I traded $500 work of games. S lot of common trades
Must have been a lot of great games that got traded.
@@RetroDigitalus not really
So cool that you got those games graded. They look pretty cool! Funny how Barbie's game is graded. 😄
I don't understand and don't agree with grading games.
Firstly you don't increase their value that much by doing so. They also don't fit well on the shelf with all the other games because of that stupid case.
It's just a fad for USA youtubers to show on videos. You gotta keep that content going. :)
I'M STRUGGLING BRO HAHHAHAA
Grading is part of the collecting game now. As collectors we have to understand, that the passion is so mainstream and growing faster than ever. With that, new aspects and ways to do it come to the table. For a basic idea, look at sports cards, pokemon cards, magic cards etc.... and to the more content of the material minded, comic books have been for years as well.
Or even watch a couple hours of "History Channel" and see what is has done to not just collecting in all it's forms, but entire markets such as antiques (also collecting, but with much much much much much more money and scale) where suddenly everything is of value and cool and new. Everyone is now paying attention to the value of games now, so fomo has also reered it's head. Everyone is a picker. The ugly side of resellers that aim for maximum profits. Money collectors.
And in game collecting, it ruined grading and sealed almost immediately. Perhaps if it didn't have the sudden "Mario is a millionlet'sgoooo"", this would be a more welcome facet to the craft? I mean, I would have rather made it to the end of death before seeing any mario game in any shape going for the numbers it reached. It set a precedent where a lot of us with not a lot of cash got priced out of a huge part of why we collect. There's a lot more people buying now.
A lot more of a budget comes with that in many cases, and more demand. Like cards, comics, toys and fine late 1800's montgomery pine foot hatches, it's video games turn.
I am looking forward to the graded market cooling down and becoming more of a normal part of collecting because if i could afford something (afford being what i feel is the equal value) graded, yeah, I'd pick that up. It doesn't get anymore preserved, really.
@getthegreg got me here. just sub
Thank you so much. I hope you find videos to enjoy
