    I started buying games last year. Not to collect but to have. Some I owned in the 80s. Some I wanted to own. One thing is certain, you can find 2600 and 7800 games cib and sealed for reasonable prices.

    Yeah it's a fun hobby with a lot of upside still. Does it pass the test of "will my kid or my grandkid care about this?" Yes, mostly, at least those games being ones of characters or franchises that have continued on for so long already.
