@@saltybox1019yes, his incredible leg length and speed do allow him to legally move much further with fewer dribbles. However, there are times when he cheats a little and they don't call it.
Hes perfected the timing of his gather step. Combined with his length (no pause suck your mum) makes his drives not only legal but basically unguardable
Also pace your self start dribbling slow (size up) take a step back hesi behind the back but when you do the behind the back shift your body kinda the way you’re heading rather than just use your arms use your hips as well bc good defenders will read your hips so when you get better at shifting your hips you will be able to shift them the opposite direction of where your going to throw them off even more that’s why kyrie can’t be guarded
My behind the back dribble has two variations. Hella fast or I whip it so fast and far it comes back threw my legs. That's my go to move. I've dropped many people with that. Sometimes stop on a dime on it because it confuses people or do a spin off it and I'm wide open most of the time. Been doing that one since 3rd grade and going on 40 I still do it. Surprised I haven't seen a player use it unless it's my move or something, I can't be the only guy who does this Lol.
When I was young I learned to try slapping your opposite butt cheek when doing it (if doing it with your right hand you hit your left cheek and vice versa) and it helped so much cause it makes you go with your hand behind the ball and causes it to be fast and also keeps the ball really close to your hip so it doesn’t get away from you
Nah. You have to start dribbling before it is a double dribble. In fact, you don't even have to take your second hand off before you start your dribble. Just don't use both hands again until you're ready to end the dribble.
Here is the only thing wrong with this video. When has anyone seen the ref call a carry in the nba on a behind the back move. I watch constantly, and even if they call a carry at any time in the game. It's almost never on a behind the back
I was lucky and was doing this from the first time I did a wrap btb, its probably because I used to hate when I traveled as a kid even if they don't call it
I swear half the NBA doesn't know how to dribble. So many of them put their hand under the ball because they want to be AI so bad, but didn't work on the fundamentals first. The travels and carries are always so unnecessary too. There's no need to carry to do a behind the back dribble. There's no need to carry to do an in and out dribble. It's so lazy and these are the "pros."

If Giannis can take 1 step across the entire court and dunk it, then nothing is a travel anymore 😂😂😂😂
He runs in between his dribbles that’s not a travel
he travels@@saltybox1019

It’s not travelling he’s just timed it perfectly, like hardens double step back

Thank you so much for this

Thank you, bro. I’m going to try this in the park.
It helped me a lot bro thanks
Thanks to your video I was able to master behind the back

That’s also a great tip if you’re going behind the back and through the legs!
Tap your opposite cheek, that’s what I was taught to keep it tight and controlled.
Exactly what I do lol 🤣
man i thought you meant your face and i was so goddamn confused
But why do you have to keep your Cheek tight and controlled tho?

What if it's so big that a slap it no matter what
What is the name of the shot?
Still struggling with this 😢
This is good 👍. Teacher of the game.
This is awesome
What about KD behind dribble like dragging that ball??
Jonny is that you 😂😂

So helpful
I think players need to be able to do this as well as the behind the back crossover where the ball bounces behind you for different situations
Thanks now my shoulders are dislocated 😊
thanks u
When , he said "thats a carry"!!!
😂😅
"What is that"!?!?
Ooh this will be super useful thanks

Just 1 question. If I catch the pass with 2 hands and remove 1 hand and start dribbling. Is that a double dribble or not?

Is that street phantom? The ball.
Yeah I have one too
Is that the airless ball?
No it’s a normal ball
Looks the same as the original behind the back you did, but faster.
Sins, we already at studio
Why do they allow carrying in the NBA?
You do not do that 😂 you do it around your back and one dribble behind the right foot
That’s the Steve Nash way
What kinda ball is that, im tryna buy the exact same one but cant dind it 😂
How to do over snatch move
Ur a unique teach er
Did he score at the end tho
I do that to split double teams off a pick me being shorter it helps but he would know he Def better than me lol
Carrying is now legal because refs never call carry calls ever
this aint the nba
@@crystalizedExposednot even in the nba in just about any league or pickup game they never call carrys
They never call it.
Handles
I was doing it properly 🎉
If you can cross the court One step it's legal some people are just pure superhuman
That is the exact same thing and move except you just ran faster
You have to move side ways with your body

Bruh no body does a behind the back like that
its not a carry, you make the move so slow, for that is a carry, but if you do the dribble normal, its legal.
Am I the only one hearing a whistle from the video?
It is called a rap around
si no lo dices no me doy cuenta 😴😴
I never knew that.😮
Ohh its a carry if your a regular person....😂
I was lucky and was doing this from the first time I did a wrap btb, its probably because I used to hate when I traveled as a kid even if they don't call it
This whole "carry" rule needs to just disappear.
ofc its johnny sins giving this advice
You’re 100% left handed bro
"Don't break the rules"- there, I saved you 30 seconss

THATS A CARRIE WHAT!!!! i never new that
its not but can be mistaken for one so learn the normal version
Its not, the way he made is a carry, but no one make this, we make with a lot more speed, so its not a carry
This guy teaches alot of stuff wrong
Thats still a carry tho
