Thank you for the quick and simple comprehensive video. No crazy intros no cheesy rock ‘n’ roll riffs no talking fish straight to the point and great.!
thank you! i tried the 20 amp fuse but that wasn’t it. 3 hours later and ready to tow it to the dealer, i swapped relays, which didn’t change the crank, no start, and then i tried those 2 black fuses and THAT WAS THE TRICK! thank you!!!!! the ONLY VIDEO ON TH-cam THAT FIXED IT FOR ME
Dude you rock! People were telling me it’s either my fuel pump or the relay didn’t know there was a fuse to power the actual relay I went to check and lo and behold I had a burnt out 20A fuse. Thank you and god bless you!
This fuse has burned out twice now in the span of 9 years. Your video was great as I already kind of had an idea. Thanks for the details saved me a tow.
Hi, you can test fuel pump relay by replacing it with one of the same kind. If that makes a difference then it is a faulty relay. Other option is to use multimeter to test
Ok so my 2012 doesn’t have those diodes. My fuel gauge doesn’t work. Hasn’t been working. But this is how it happened. I had fueled up morning so my tank was full. Got to work still said full. Went out for lunch and for some reason it read half tank. I parked turned my truck off. And then turned it on and it went back to full. And about 5 minutes later it again read half then instantaneously went to full then went to 3/4 - 1/2 -1/4 and E. Been trying to figure out what it is by searching what it could be but I haven’t found out what it can be.

Are you saying take the fuse to the left of #61 and put it in #61’s spot and see if it fixes the problem?

Hi, your problems sound like a failed fuel sending unit which is quite common on F-150. I would look into that first. Hope this helps
swapped the relay with the one next to it and it stated, swapped back to original positions and did not start, swapped one more time and started! lol
Faulty relay :) easy test. I'm glad you were able to figure it out
I'm looking for the fuses and relays head lights and park lights
Hi, you want to check:
Fuse #7,8,23 (09-10 F-150)
Fuse #16,17,39 (11-14 F150)
Hope this helps
