He actually was sitting at his piano playing around with Help and came up with this arrangement in about 1979 and he sung it for the Queen in 1980 ❤ The lyrics suit John's arrangement the best and John Lennon said he wanted to sing it like this but the record company wanted the pop version. Celine Dion wants to sing it when she's back performing. John is her idol and she sang You're the Voice live with him here in Australia in 2018. Aussies favourite son and entertainer since 1967 ❤ He is also the kindest, humblest, funniest, lovely icon you will ever meet and can sing any genre and could have been a stand up comedian.
Also at the same concert, have a look at Its a Long Way to the Top, Blow by Blow and Reasons. Watch his mic and mic stand tricks and how he interacts with his band and the audience. He always introduces his band during his concerts and some of them have been with him for 40 years. Then All our Sons and Daughters and Loves In Need both live in 1990. That's just to start. He last performed live in 2020 with Brian May from Queen and had not lost any of his power or ability to sing those high belting notes. He's a chameleon. Enjoy our John ❤🎉😂
As you stated above, you were right the first time. It’s such a different arrangement though that I got why you were confused. All of us in Australia could sing along to this version because it was released and played on the radio. Seeing your little smiles was so much fun to see.
The first band to bring out a slow version of this song was Deep Purple- although there is also footage of John Lennon singing the slow version in the back of a London taxi cab too! Farnham was a huge fan of the Beatles and took this idea and ran with it, creating such a brilliant rendition of this classic hit!
I was at this concert… it was an absolutely fantastic evening…. And he sung this song after 2 hours… one of his 2 encores….. the best rabbit hole to fall in… enjoy the Farnham Show….

John Farnham singing with Jimmy Barnes the lead singer of Cold Chisel “ when something is wrong with my baby”, two of the greatest powerhouses in one song.
John’s sound checks were sometimes better than his concerts…he just did random songs out of the blue here and there! 😂 I made a point of sitting outside and listening to the sound checks whenever he came to town before actually attending the concert. ❤
I love how mesmerised you both were watching John. I think you would really enjoy John and Olivia Newton John singing 'Please Don’t Ask Me' one of the best duets I have heard.
One of my favourite songs that he wrote is Playing to Win. He wrote it when he did a stint as the lead singer of the Little River Band . But the performance to watch from the chain reaction concert (live of course ) 😂😂
Brilliant performance! I will never get sick of watching and listening to John Farnham. It really is captivating. I'm in absolute awe of his talent and his personality. Loved this reaction. Thanks, ❤
Myself and my Husband are both so proud to have grown up listening to this Legend of Australian Music . What. Voice John Farnham had ? Thank you John for all the memories & we really appreciate you brother .❤❤
John Farnham and Jimmy Barnes (two Australian legends) singing “Something is wrong with my baby” on Hey Hey it’s Saturday show 😊live performance will blow your socks off! You will go down a rabbit hole of amazing Australian performers. PS Don’t miss Kasey Chambers Emimen cover of Lose yourself. EPIC!
Welcome to the John Farnham rabbit hole, you have a lot more to enjoy from this man, he has decades of hits. Loved your reactions and how captivated you both were 🙂 I can't wait to see your next John Farnham reaction ❤
Goosebumps every time I watch this video of John Farnham. He is a legend here in Australia. His concerts were a treasure to remember. Yeah, that was the Beatles song "Help" but slowed down. Even John Lennon agreed it was a better version. A fine gentleman and a great friend to many including the late Olivia Newton John. You have to check out his other songs in this concert. "Pressure Down" is a good one. He has many hits along the years. A Touch of Paradise, That's Freedom, Burn For You, Burn Down, Two Strong Hearts and Listen to the Wind and many more. I would appreciate it if you both check them out. Thank you for the reaction and look forward to many more. Peace.🤞💛
This is the last song of a 2 and a half hour amazing concert. One of the most approachable and kind mega stars you could ever meet. My first ever CD was Whispering Jack gold edition which is so iconiclly 80s Australia. Great reaction 👏 please keep them coming, more people need to witness John Farnham.
I was third row dead center at this concert, it unbelievable night I still rank it as the best I've been to and I do try to all Aussie tours and most metal tours all of Iron Maiden.
You both looked mesmorised by this performance. You can see now why we all told you that live performances are the only way to watch John Farnham. You know if John Farnham covers a song, it's going to be epic. He totally transformed this iconic Beatles classic into something so good, it might as well have been his own. You know it's top notch when greats like Tina Turner have covered it and Celine Dion wants to cover it..
This is a cover of the Beatles 'Help', with John's own arrangement. In your own time re-listen to the original 'Help' by The Beatles, it's the same song. John was learning to play the original on piano, and came up with this version himself. Given you like heavier music, you should have a listen to John's song 'All our sons and daughters', live of course.
Paul McCartney said this is the way the song should always have been sung and that it was the best version of it. Watch this concert and the AC/DC “Long way to the top” John did 💜
This was an encore performance at the end of a 2hr concert. I would recommend you react to John Farnham singing You're The Voice from this concert with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra; this was another encore performance. John Farnham is the only Australian artist to have a number-one record album or single in five consecutive decades; the only other artist to achieve this feat, was Cliff Richard.
Ok so now react to the live You're The Voice from the same concert with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra. Yes I know you reacted to the studio version, never mind, just do it we Aussies won't care and you'll enjoy it more too. Australia will reward you with new subs guaranteed if you go down the John Farnham rabbit hole. Oh check out John Farnham and Jimmy Barnes doing When Something Is Wrong With My Baby after You're the Voice. It's the only studio version I prefer John doing. The atmosphere of the club, black and white, incredible chemistry of the guys and Jimmy's brother-in-law Diesel's magic guitar solo.
I’m heading to eighty and I remember John when he first started. He is one in a million. I’ve yet to hear a song he couldn’t sing. He has a fantastic range. ❤❤🇦🇺🦘
Most concerts were advertised as John Farnham and Band, or his band, or the JF band, this one was John and his Big Band in typical Aussie understatement, it's a 100+ piece orchestra for crying out loud. lol This song is one of the last songs that he would sing at the end of the night after he had already sung his heart out for nearly 3 hours. Some have pointed out that this particular recording of the concert was closer to 2 hours of actual singing during the TV special, but it was also on the 4th or 5th night that he had sung like this. Either way, it was one of multiple nights that he did this on January 4-10, 1989, so his voice is still worthy of the accolades. Not many other singers can belt like that for even 2 or 3 nights without a rest. And besides picking at the exact details or this exact performance, Farnsey also has a way of getting deep into the emotions of your soul. A couple of songs worth checking have been mentioned below, plus these are worth a look also. The reason you haven't heard of him is because the US music industry is a closed little club. When John Farnham went to the US they didn't know which genre to put him in so his US promotions manager got him a couple of gigs in a little jazz club, where the MC introduced him as Jack Phantom. Couldn't even be bothered getting his name correct, so being a bit disheartened he wandered home to concentrate on his loyal fan base. The experience did give him inspiration to write a couple of good songs about missing his family, like this one. -Burn For You.. th-cam.com/video/4PPvOhPspEA/w-d-xo.html -Angels.. Notice how he holds the mike below his chest, both mikes are a metre away, which he does all the time to not drown out the other singers. JF with Lisa Edwards, a top singer in her own right, and one of John's back up singers for 20+ years. th-cam.com/video/5_2NJRIdBO8/w-d-xo.html -Amazing Grace.. To show the calibre of his other back up Singers, showing you have to be good in your own right, just like Lisa. This is Vanetta Fields and Lindsey Field. th-cam.com/video/_x6N94OEkZQ/w-d-xo.html -Please Don't Ask Me.. This one with Olivia Newton John, who we have recently lost. John has also had major cancer surgery including removal of part of his jaw and we may not hear him sing again. So let's enjoy this one as well.. Edit- JF has announced he is free of cancer, but has not mentioned anything about singing again. th-cam.com/video/2uV_tZODfK8/w-d-xo.html -When Something Is Wrong With My Baby.... And even when he is singing with one of the most powerful voices on the planet, Jimmy Barnes, he still put the mike away from his face and closer to Jonny Diesel on guitar. th-cam.com/video/AU_bCchDWF4/w-d-xo.html Or this version, both are great, but slightly different.. th-cam.com/video/RAlFHSPLHpo/w-d-xo.html -When The War Is Over… Possibly one of his greatest vocals. th-cam.com/video/lfWrXc5eN8g/w-d-xo.html -Or is the greatest. Gethsemane.. th-cam.com/video/k5woMZtClhI/w-d-xo.html -How about a mike test. He has the power and ability to distort microphones, blow up amps, and get speaker stacks jumping. So this sort of setting up the venue test is a must. Lol Black Dog. th-cam.com/video/F2Yi6TVi-sU/w-d-xo.html Besides having the best voice ever, JF can adjust his tone, pitch, volume, to match the person he is singing with to either match them or sing just under them depending on who's the head line act, he will even back himself down when he is the head line to give others their moment to shine, and if my ears were sensitive enough, I wouldn't be surprised if he could vary his vibrato, timbre and all of those other things that voices can do so he could accentuate the other singers.
@stevegraham3817 nothing at all. You're in great company, hence the phrase 'like I can'! But hey, you can take it as a negative if it makes you feel better. (Although I vary things slightly now and then)
@@devilsadvocate2548 all good mate, I was varying it at the beginning, but a stack of people were reacting to this song, a lot of them just copy cat others who were getting successful with followers, so I just started copying and pasting it.
So you have now been sucked into the John Farnham rabbit hole to one of the most incredible voices in the world that will only send you into a loop of songs that will blow your mind. To add to this is another Australian artist who will also blow you away by the name of Jimmy Barnes. You will watch many of his videos but the two of them sing a song together called “when something is wrong with my baby “ that you need to do a reaction video on please! You will not regret it and you will then need to start watching other videos by Jimmy which include a song with Joe Bonamassa playing the guitar called “ Stone Cold!” Will give you goosebumps ❤😅
When John Farnham released his ‘come back’ album in the mid-eighties the Australian music gatekeepers tried their best to ignore it and kill off his career. He’d had a rocky time transitioning from being a highly successful teen pop idol to a contemporary artist and was considered very ‘uncool’ by the record labels and radio stations. But the Australian public made the album the most successful ever in Australia by a local artist, keeping it at number 1 for around 6 months and basically forcing radio to play it. I think his appreciation for his audience was very real and they loved him right back.
Farnsey is our aussie legend. Bear in mind, that song was the last in a 90 minute set of non stop flawless performance. Sadly he is recovering from mouth cancer and wont be singing again. He is and always known as The Voice.
John is always better live. You want to see his versatility? Searched for him doing Led Zeppelin’s Black Dog. Audio only. A live sound check from a concert in the 90’s. It only exists because one of the sound engineers hit record.
You can't go wrong with any performance of any song by John. His concerts with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra are the best. He has some great duets with other singers as well. I recommend "Please Don't Ask Me" with Olivia Newton John and "When Something Is Wrong With My Baby" with Jimmy Barnes. He can sing any genre.
That performance is one of the encores at the end of a 2+ hour concert 1986. John F's version was released in 1980. John Lennon heard it before he passed and said that was the way the song was meant to sound. John Farnham started in 1967 and was still performing into his 70s until Covid shut the country down. He won "King of Pop" 5 consecutive years 69 -73, then faded a bit in the late 70s (due to poor management). John is the only Australian artist to have a number one record (album or single) in five consecutive decades. He has received the admiration of many international artists, such as Richard Marx, Celine Dion, Robbie Williams, Tom Jones, Freddie Mercury. Brian May, Sammy Davis Jnr, Ray Charles, just to name a few. I'll drop a few links to give you a taste and warn you if you start reacting to John, the Aussie Army will flood your channel. LOL if you decide to go exploring, make sure you only watch "Live" performances, he loves his fans and millions of us love him back. He is the most down to earth person, humble, funny and extremely talented. John is one of the most versatile vocalists you can find, he can sing just about any genre. He replaced Glen Sherrock as frontman for LRB for a time in the early eighties. @@Oldbutnotout65 That is a fantastic comment and list 😀 👏🏻 👌 I think I'll just hit each link myself and just enjoy our John. I would add Amazing Grace 1987, Burn for You 1990 live with Phil Buckle on guitar, Angels 2000 live with Lisa Edwards, Loves In Need and All Our Sons and Daughters live 1990, Gethsemane live 1992 Sydney final night, long Tally Sally live 1980, and for some real nostalgia Yesterday live 1972. 😀 ♥️👏🏻
Thank you for this wonderful reaction. We love John so much and are so happy when people discover this brilliant man with a phenomenal voice and a huge heart. Watching John perform live with his amazing band and fantastic BV’s always makes you feel good. His joy is contagious. Can’t wait to see more John.🫶🇦🇺✌️
Yes, this is The Beatles classic song Help. John's version leaves off the first three lines of the song. John first performed his version in 1980, at a Royal Charity Concert in front of Queen Elizabeth II at the Sydney Opera House; John Lennon was given a copy of Farnham's version, and was heard saying "This is how the song was meant to be sung". Unfortunately, John Lennon was killed later that year; as he had intended to do his own recording of Farnham's version.
Thank you so much for your respectful reaction ... does that sound over the top? I can't explain, but I am grateful ... one of the songs of my youth ... and even now, at 80+ it is still an important song, an important message and an important person singing it.
John Farnham is our Aussie Treasure! Amazing voice, incredible stage presence and a fantastic guy. I have a play list of John that I listen to when driving 1.5 hours to see family. Recently I heard a TH-cam voice that blew me away and have added him to my playlist. So now I have John and Dan - it doesn’t get any better than those two!! Check out Dan Vasc - a metal singer that can sing anything from Amazing Grace to Toss a coin to Your Witcher and everything in between. Gethsemane, Highway to Hell, Burn butcher burn and My Heart will go on!
Now The Voice live from the same concert please! This is what people were talking about in your original reaction. It is on a whole new level to both Help and the studio version of the Voice.
Tina Turner was spending time in Australia during this time and absolutely loved Johns restructuring of the song, she followed suit and did her own slow take with her own vocal mannerisms.
One of my favourite songs that he wrote is Playing to Win. He wrote it when he did a stint as the lead singer of the Little River Band . But the performance to watch from the chain reaction concert (live of course ) 😂😂 th-cam.com/video/aaeKsidYfVk/w-d-xo.htmlsi=jrgT5Lf0gSuxkc0e
John wanted to learn the song on the piano and this is the only speed he could go without making mistakes. Paul McCartney said himself this was the way John Lennon intended it to sound but the record producers said it wasn’t “boppy” enough. Enjoy this rabbit hole! You keep reacting to John and the people will come! 😂
The Beatles wrote it and recorded it but John fixed it. John Lennon wanted to sing it this way but they didn’t have our John’s voice. You do know if you are reacting to John we just keep appearing. He is so loved, our legend and the Voice. John sold out that venue in Melbourne more than 90 times in his career and that is just one City here. The last time I saw him live was in Melbourne. Everything he sings is better live. Thank you.
Actually, they wanted to do it as a ballad, but the record co didn't allow it. Didn't fit the image they were trying to sell or something. The lyrics definitely have more power as a ballad. Apparently this was a kinda accident. The legend goes that he was learning piano and playing it slowly and realised that it suited the song better.
You should try to get your hands on the recent John Farnham-Finding the Voice documentary done in Australia. It’s an amazing look back on all the struggles and triumphs of Johns life because it wasn’t an easy journey for him to get companies to play his music. I love hearing people outside of Australia reacting to his videos because they end up loving it as much as we do here. I’m glad that the US was stupid enough not to take him away from us and I am glad they get to enjoy him now.
Thank you for your great reaction and appreciation of our phenomenal Aussie legend, John Farnham. He has sung his terrific version of this song, plus some other favourites, in almost every one of his awesome concerts over the last almost 4 decades! He also sang the Beatles version in one of his concerts:- You can look this up by searching for : John Farnham - Help - Beatles (High Quality).
Hi from Australia..love John!! Yes, he had mouth cancer..he may never sing again, but his fans know he will always sing forever in their hearts! This is how Help should be sung!! Final song of a huge 2.5hr concert !! Think on that just for a moment! ❤
It wasn't the final song of that particular concert. He came back out to sing another encore after Help where he sang Sadie and It's a Long Way to the Top to finish off his 2 hours of singing.
Hey Guys, that is the Beatles song, but a slower ballad version and John made that his. Apparently When John Lennon heard this he said that was how they wanted to do it, but were convinced by their record company to do rocky pop version.
You need too react to JOHN FARNHAM live. His cover of AC DC " Its a long way to the top if you want to rock and roll". Its better than the AC DC original with insane energy and positive vibe. to find it You tube search the following. >>>>>>. It's A Long Way To The Top (If You Wanna Rock 'N' Roll)" [Live] from the 'Classic Jack Live!' DVD
John's talents are more than just singing, if your lucky you might see a bit of his comic side; John has also done television and musical theatre. I would recommend you react to John Farnham singing Gethsemane from the Australian production of Jesus Christ Superstar the musical, check out the final night in Sydney.
Cool reaction guys. I saw this concert when it came to my city, Brisbane. I was seated adjacent to the MSO, who really let their hair down - proof positive that if you scratch the surface of a classical musician you'll find a rockin' headbanger trying to get out. John always gives it everything he's got, never leaving anything on the stage. But this concert was next level - I was on an endorphin high for days afterwards.
John Farnham was an amazing singer . It is so sad that he had to have a operation because he had mouth cancer . He said that one day he will sing again . He is determined to do so and I hope he will sing again .
I still get goosebumps every time I hear him sing this song, I seriously wish I had the opportunity to see him in concert he’s definitely the VOICE of Australia 🇦🇺🥰🌹
I was so confused! I thought it was the Beatles song, then i didnt, then i did! He for sure made this his own...Fantastic performance!!!
He actually was sitting at his piano playing around with Help and came up with this arrangement in about 1979 and he sung it for the Queen in 1980 ❤ The lyrics suit John's arrangement the best and John Lennon said he wanted to sing it like this but the record company wanted the pop version. Yes I believe it was 3 encores- he did Help then came back with Sadie and finally It’s a Long Way to the Top! Would have loved to be there!! ❤
I saw JF with Lionel Ritchie…. And JF opened. I think that was a mistake
John Farnham is an Australian Legend he is the Voice

My first ever CD was Whispering Jack gold edition which is so iconiclly 80s Australia.
Great reaction 👏 please keep them coming, more people need to witness John Farnham.
master of the microphone..........no one does it better
You have no idea how much our wonderful John is adored here in Oz.💕🇦🇺
I have seen him live many times over the years and he is truly remarkable.
Dude is an absolute legend. What a voice. John Farnham is the goat
We all love our John. Highly recommend Playing to win, It's a long way to the top & You're the voice from this same concert.
Burn for u live will mesmerise u blokes also
I was third row dead center at this concert, it unbelievable night I still rank it as the best I've been to and I do try to all Aussie tours and most metal tours all of Iron Maiden.
Seeing John Farnham live is an absolute treasure. He is one of the best artists I have ever seen live ❤❤❤❤
Definitely add Playing to Win and Long way to the Top to your watch list - live of course 😃
You both looked mesmorised by this performance. You can see now why we all told you that live performances
are the only way to watch John Farnham.
You know if John Farnham covers a song, it's going to be epic. He totally transformed this iconic Beatles classic into something so good, it might as well have been his own.
You know it's top notch when greats like Tina Turner have covered it and Celine Dion wants to cover it..
Great reaction to John. Looking forward to many more from you. John is the best...❤ Thanks heaps 😊
You will love his duet with Olivia Newton John, called Please dont ask me. Its on another level
Until I heard him live i. was like he's ok , but man the power in his voice goes through you.
Watch this concert and the AC/DC “Long way to the top” John did 💜
actually it was John Lennon who said that.
@@iancremmins4727 thank you 💜
This was an encore performance at the end of a 2hr concert.
6 consecutive decades actually - 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's, 00's, 10's
An encore with another one after this!
Most concerts were advertised as John Farnham and Band, or his band, or the JF band, this one was John and his Big Band in typical Aussie understatement, it's a 100+ piece orchestra for crying out loud. lol
This song is one of the last songs that he would sing at the end of the night after he had already sung his heart out for nearly 3 hours.
-Burn For You..
th-cam.com/video/4PPvOhPspEA/w-d-xo.html
-Angels..
Notice how he holds the mike below his chest, both mikes are a metre away, which he does all the time to not drown out the other singers.
JF with Lisa Edwards, a top singer in her own right, and one of John's back up singers for 20+ years.
th-cam.com/video/5_2NJRIdBO8/w-d-xo.html
-Amazing Grace..
To show the calibre of his other back up Singers, showing you have to be good in your own right, just like Lisa.
This is Vanetta Fields and Lindsey Field.
th-cam.com/video/_x6N94OEkZQ/w-d-xo.html
-Please Don't Ask Me..
This one with Olivia Newton John, who we have recently lost. John has also had major cancer surgery including removal of part of his jaw and we may not hear him sing again. So let's enjoy this one as well..
Edit- JF has announced he is free of cancer, but has not mentioned anything about singing again.
th-cam.com/video/2uV_tZODfK8/w-d-xo.html
-When Something Is Wrong With My Baby....
And even when he is singing with one of the most powerful voices on the planet, Jimmy Barnes, he still put the mike away from his face and closer to Jonny Diesel on guitar.
th-cam.com/video/AU_bCchDWF4/w-d-xo.html
Or this version, both are great, but slightly different..
th-cam.com/video/RAlFHSPLHpo/w-d-xo.html
-When The War Is Over…
Possibly one of his greatest vocals.
th-cam.com/video/lfWrXc5eN8g/w-d-xo.html
-Or is the greatest.
Gethsemane..
th-cam.com/video/k5woMZtClhI/w-d-xo.html
-How about a mike test.
He has the power and ability to distort microphones, blow up amps, and get speaker stacks jumping. So this sort of setting up the venue test is a must. Lol
Black Dog.
th-cam.com/video/F2Yi6TVi-sU/w-d-xo.html
Besides having the best voice ever, JF can adjust his tone, pitch, volume, to match the person he is singing with to either match them or sing just under them depending on who's the head line act, he will even back himself down when he is the head line to give others their moment to shine, and if my ears were sensitive enough, I wouldn't be surprised if he could vary his vibrato, timbre and all of those other things that voices can do so he could accentuate the other singers.
Oh look, you can copy and paste like I can! ;-)
@@devilsadvocate2548 Yep, about the 50th time I have done that, and your point is?
@stevegraham3817 nothing at all. You're in great company, hence the phrase 'like I can'! But hey, you can take it as a negative if it makes you feel better.
(Although I vary things slightly now and then)
@@devilsadvocate2548 all good mate,
I was varying it at the beginning, but a stack of people were reacting to this song, a lot of them just copy cat others who were getting successful with followers, so I just started copying and pasting it.
Thanks for listening to the comments! Everything from him & most Australian artists should be reacted to live❤
Farnsey is our aussie legend. Bear in mind, that song was the last in a 90 minute set of non stop flawless performance. Sadly he is recovering from mouth cancer and wont be singing again. He is and always known as The Voice.
Great reaction guys from Australia and yes watch any live performances from John as they are all Awesome.
A sublime live performance from our Aussie, the only John Farnham.
Yes please.... Olivia with John is fantastic "Please don';t ask me" ://th-cam.com/video/2uV_tZODfK8/w-d-xo.html
I was there!!!!!!!!!!! Melbourne Australia. Watch the whole concert. He was so beloved that everyone knew the words to every song. 🇦🇺
They put out a doco last year called "John Farnham - Finding The Voice" which broke the box office ("The Voice" is what he is affectionately known as here), he can sing anything and make it sound great, First the trailer...th-cam.com/video/LocCfc5PKrE/w-d-xo.html

@@AussieDebb Hi Debb, I've seen you at other reactors channels and enjoyed your suggestions.
Thank you two. One of our best artists ever. Luv from Australia ❤️🎼❤️🎼❤️
I think you mean, 'You're the Voice,' right?
Tina Turner was spending time in Australia during this time and absolutely loved Johns restructuring of the song, she followed suit and did her own slow take with her own vocal mannerisms.
Please always John live he is the G.O.A.T so much for you to uncover of Johns work love from Australia ❤❤❤
So nice to see you watch the song from start to end instead of interrupting as some do for commentary. Well done guys!
One of my favourite songs that he wrote is Playing to Win. He wrote it when he did a stint as the lead singer of the Little River Band .
But the performance to watch from the chain reaction concert (live of course ) 😂😂
th-cam.com/video/aaeKsidYfVk/w-d-xo.htmlsi=jrgT5Lf0gSuxkc0e
Wow, an original idea, never seen this done before.
I loved seeing you guys getting captivated by this performance. Thankyou for checking John out. Please do more of him😊
Thank you for your great reaction and appreciation of our phenomenal Aussie legend, John Farnham. He has sung his terrific version of this song, plus some other favourites, in almost every one of his awesome concerts over the last almost 4 decades! He also sang the Beatles version in one of his concerts:- You can look this up by searching for : John Farnham - Help - Beatles (High Quality).
My brother-in-law met him at an airport and said he was awesome just like you see him ♥️🇦🇺🦘🦘🦘
Hi from Australia..love John!!
John Farnham live, always live!!
Please check out “When the war is over” from his “Last Time” concert tour. At 54 still an amazing voice. ❤
Goosebumps
Have you guys checked out John Farnham, Long way to the top, same concert with the MSO? His energy level is off the charts.😊❤️
John Farnham is the best. He is recovering well
John's talents are more than just singing, if your lucky you might see a bit of his comic side; John has also done television and musical theatre.
That was an encore after being on stage for 2 hours. He can sing pop, rock, opera, anything at all.
Subscribed Because you played our hero ...stay strong John
John Farnham was an amazing singer . It is so sad that he had to have a operation because he had mouth cancer . He said that one day he will sing again . He is determined to do so and I hope he will sing again .
It seems his sons have advised that he's singing around the house, which is an excellent sign for him.
Yes, it is a cover of The Beatles... John just owned it.
I still get goosebumps every time I hear him sing this song, I seriously wish I had the opportunity to see him in concert he’s definitely the VOICE of Australia 🇦🇺🥰🌹
Definitely needs to be live any time you watch him!
That’s our Aussie boy. We love our John. Wishing him a full recovery from his illness.
Guys this IS the beatles Help but Johns singing it his way...diff arrangement.
