First, thanks a lot for the video. I awakened the head piece by mistake and made a ticket in order to ask if there's any way to revert it. Of course the answer was that they don't do reverts in any way. Not even care to point that you can actually get that shard back when you salvage... makes me think that they don't even know their game. On another note, I think that it should work even if you make the transfer to a weaker item, then salvage that item, cause in my case would take a while to find an upgrade. I will try as soon as I get some legendary head piece. LE: it works with any other piece of legendary gear.
Awakening transfer should just be part of normal upgrades > one click "transfer all, awakening included"
It should be: hell at the price it costs to make those level 10 then the 1k to get the glowing thing whatever it is. It’s just money hungry. We need to ban this game until it gets better.
Well I mean it shows you can if it’s the same piece of gear but he switched even his gem from his shield to his shoulder which is a completely different story.

Did they patch this out? When i just tried it. When I got to the salvage part it said I could not salvage the item only extract the essence…
What happens when you haven't extracted the essence of the awakened item you want to transfer? If you extract than you destroy, do you get the gems back if you don't salvage?

Why do you have to transfer rank with a blacksmith rather than using the transfer thing when you equip it it literally says transfer socketed gems, rank and awakening. Isn't this just a longer method

I know how to transfer awakening in Diablo Immortal. It's through a wire transfer, right?
This makes no sense. Why don’t you just click transfer all? It literally says it will transfer awakening to the new item…
yeah that would work if you are transferring awakening from the same item slot (e.g. weapon to weapon, armor to armor, etc.) his goal is to transfer the awakening to a different slot (shield to shoulders), and for that you need to salvage the used dawning echo from the item. that is why he is transferring the rank from it to another shield so he can salvage the awakened item(this time salvaging both the rank10 gem and the dawning echo) without loosing the rank upgrade
@@weindesu3511 great info... i am not sure if this would work from the same item slot so I still follow this steps if I get a better stat item just to be safe..
What are the reasons why you would want to move your awakening to another slot? Does it give different benefits depending on the slot that is awakened. i.e chest gives different benefit vs helm? Thanks and excellent video
As far as I know. Awakening gives extra effects on the legendary item, not the gem.
So if you want to access a different set of abilities, you have to transfer the awakening as well.
I'm sure I'll get corrected if I'm wrong
The awakening makes the legendary piece of gear add an extra boost to the skill within that piece of gear, like for example if you have the fiery multi shot bow and you awaken it then it also adds an extra 10% damage to your multi shot.
Another method to trick people into fucking up their gear. Why in the World would this work differently than the normal tranfer?!
