My first watch was a Tag Carrera which I bought when I turned 30 with my own money. It was a proud moment and it was my only watch for 10 years therefore it got battered but it is still a very special beautiful watch indeed. A lot of watch geeks don't like it as tag was the ultimate aspiration watch of my time but I don't care.

Quality content as always gents! That pistachio Carrera 36 looks like pure magic, I'd want to see that in person for sure. As to the other watches shown, I can't believe more companies don't do a date set at the 12 position. It makes so much sense and yet I'd never considered it.

I'd like to say, I feel I was overly polite about that iced-out aluminium watch. I think it's ridiculous that TAG are asking £500,000 for an aluminium watch covered in lab-grown diamonds. Oris have an AQUIS with lab-grown diamonds for £4,700!

I don't understand the hate. This is the best release this year in my opinion. Just a stunning chrono. It might be perfect.
The Glassbox chronos are definitely very interesting! I'm very keen to be checking them out soon.
But the diamond Carreras? I don't know why, but the way the diamond's are spaced out on the case...kinda grosses and weirds me out? Anyone else feels that way? Can't put a finger on why...
The glass box Chrono in that lovely blue-purple made me actually care about TAG, I never did before but that watch is just too gorgeous

I love Tag even though they get a bad rap.. I’m adding a Caliber 11 Monaco to my collection asap.. I’m also gonna grab one of those green “AET” hoodies as soon as I get done with this post 👍🏻 another awesome show fellas!!
Do you know why they get a bad rap? I vaguely remeber reading somewhere that they used to use plastic bezel inserts in some of their watches (that retailed for thousands of dollars) but don't remember reading anything else negative other than that.
I added a Calibre 11 Monaco blue Steve McQueen to my watch collection and l love it! 😍It's different to my Rolex & My Omega watches.

I know 500k is alot of money for a watch but the design is so original and so bespoke if I was a billionnaire I would buy it. The pink diamond carrera is a work of art. So feminine and cool but super original. Both of them stand out a mile.

The Glasbox looks a lot nicer here than in the video with Ryan Gosling. I liked the video a lot but i didn't understand all the fuzz about YAC (Yet another Carrera). With these shot i get it now. Except for the pink Carrera the rest wasn't for me at all.

That half mil piece is probably the anthesis of what I'd usually go for... and I absolutely love it. Aside from the ordinary 3 hand Carerras and probably some Autavias, that's the only Tag that's blown me away.

Effing what! That Tourbillon is stupendous. Love the lines of the original Heuer Carrera case. Some ways to go on the Aquaracer. If they make that into a decent watch! There's life Outside the Mall for the brand. Free advice; drop the TAG, tag (excuse the pun)

I know its way over priced but if I had to choose between the Plasma Diamant or the 500k kids toy Hublot in the last vid, it's no contest, it's not my usual style but the Tag actually looks kinda swish.

Best watch collection I have seen . Beautiful design and colour ways. The hardened glass watches are rubbish though 500k for glass . Probably cost a couple of hundred quid. Nice dial though but thank it cheapens the brand. Should have been a couple of thousand glass or diamonds but doesn’t do any favours for the brand and they should drop the tag and just put heuer.
Had to pour myself a drink for this one. George caused it to be finished by the end (🎉). 500k for a tag is going to sell about as well as £14.5 gold Tudor…. Sadly I bought one. (The Tudor not the Tag)

Tourbillon, Dead Men! Wasn't expecting one of those from TAG, let alone the others. Might actually make me reevaluate the brand after all these years. Can't wait for more "round-table" content too, guys...don't give up that format! (And, George...damn, he could lift the Goodyear blimp by his lonesome, couldn't he?)
I agree with Adrian’s comments here. The chronographs are nice, especially the blue with orange hands minus the tourbillon. The 36mm offerings are beautiful little watches. The dial of the aqua racer is really nice but the case is not for me. The diamond thing is silly

That diamond-splosin of a watch has got a mad gothic/matrix vibe. I can absolutely see it being snapped up by celebs in place of something like a Hublot.
I don't mind Tag doing this. Much better to give it a go than just be plain jane like Rolex

I’m such a contrarian, I’ve started looking at Tag because everyone loved to hate them and I’m glad I did. I’ve bought a Carrera and getting a Monaco. Sold a few Tudors because they’re soo boring and like thick slabs of metal on the wrist.

“Not sponsored” but George Branford who has a partnership with Tag is helping review the brand. I can’t imagine having to pretend that Diamond Carrera was nice. Lab grown diamonds on a watch don’t make it a “F#%k watch” just because it’s $500k. It’s a watch that makes people feel bad for you. lol.
trying to keep it positive...I much prefer the lower production this channel used to have...that was authentic to me, but I could be wrong.
That diamond watch is horrific. If I saw someone wearing it I’d avoid them, as they’d be advertising that they have more money than sense.

Am I the only one worried that the glass boxed watches are going to suffer scratch and dings from not having a bezel? Don't get me wrong, I think they are the best TAG release in quite some time, but, worry about daily durability. The lab grown pink diamond Carrera is the first diamond watch I think I would rock if I could afford it, stunningly cool.
Quite the contrary actually. Sapphire is more scratch resistant than steel/aluminium bezels.
I've worn my Carrera Dato for the last two years on the daily and the sapphire is still pristine.
Pink diamond is way nicer the black one. The dials are very very nice but that diamond studded bracelet looks crap. Those glass box Carreras are top 3 whole show.

Little disappointed. I only drank 12 times, and this was the tag episode!! But it was only 11 minutes long😂. I think tag deserves some praise! my wife would love the pink diamond watch. No reason I see that George should not have all the love for these guys. Adrian was trying to give an unbiased opinion to balance it out lol but even thats tough! I think tag is doing more right than wrong personally.
All Tag pieces bar the Monaco are not great in my opinion. The updated Aquaracer models are stunning but are far too large. Great content though... George is like a kid in a sweet shop!
