The line from Obi-Wan “this isn’t a fortress…it’s a tomb” is said *exactly* like Boromir’s line in Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring about Moria: “This is no mine…it’s a tomb”. More than likely they are, Im just thinking I could see in twisted way them being kept alive and having their memories of places of where other Jedi could be or other Jedi/Force Sensitives they knew.

My mind would be freaking blown if Galen was in this series I freaking loved both games and played them over and over again. I know some people may not have liked this episode, but i personally loved it. It was very Star Wars, I got to see angry Vader and Obi-Wan using his lightsaber style.
i liked the moment when during a stealth mission a character cohorted random enemy workforce in nanoseconds, "flaws" are very minor just like this entire series' merit and its loyal nincompoop audience
I loved this episode so much! It was so amazing to see such a strong fierce 10 year old to stand up to a very scary interrogation threat. Kenobi was rediscovering his force powers so I can’t wait for what’s next!
Obie’s body is waking up, like grogu, as he opens himself to the force his muscle memory takes over. He’s becoming the master who will one tap maul in the desert one day
I wish that in the end Obiwan holds Reva back until Leia gets in the Ship and after the 5th Brother joins they over power obiwan a little and then the other snowspeeder comes and gets Obiwan the time to also escape
the dead jedi at 12:44 is based on adam brockbank concept art from rogue one of some sort of force sensitive jedha priest. The design is practically identical. I'm not sure if this design made the final cut of the movie or not but there are similar square shaped hooded characters that did
6:34 This coat reminds me of the ones the SS used. Wouldn't suprise me if it's inspired from the third Reich as many uniforms, ships and even palps and Vader are.
@@firelordkushroll I know that George was inspired by Uniforms from the Wehrmacht and other stuff from the Third Reich. But this coat looks exactly like the one from the SS.
They generally hold two. A pilot and rear gunner/(harpooner) like in ESB. I can see Obi-Wan with Leia on his lap, not sure how Tala fit in there though
This might be a bit of a stretch, and it would be odd to have this character with other Jedi, but I thought the character with the square-shaped head piece in tomb looked sort of like Freedon Nadd. Unlikely, but possible
Has anyone managed to get a look at the light sabers on the shelf. Wondering if Ahsoka’s ones there as Vader would potentially have it at this point after finding it abandoned after order 66
I think that shot where they're walking with Leia under the coat, and the stormtroopers walking towards the window was supposed give the effect that they could actually blend in. Tbh the first time I watched it, I didn't notice them in that shot at all. I found it silly that no one saw them, but with a space like that with so much going on, they actually did blend in
Reva didn't intentionally let them go though - the tracker on Lola was a backup to save herself. To not send TIE fighters after them or have no defences at all on the planet/fortress is really stupid
I bet you whatever you want that the Grand Inquisitor will be back for Rebels, that Rebels will never be retcon because of this (Maybe it'll be retcon one day, but it has nothing to do with this). In fact, I'm fairly confident that 1) He is conscious somewhere. 2) Vader and quite possibly the emperor are aware and are happy about Reva stabbing him. 3) The way they'll bring him back will be linked to his weird apparition in the comics, and his last words about how there are worst things to fear than death or something. Mark my words :p.
Don't know if I'm reading too much into it but, when obi wan enters the tomb with the red insignias on the door, when they close, they kinda look like a hooded watchful eyes of Darth Sidious. Makes me think of how he seems to always be there watching in the shadows, overseeing everything unknowingly to others.

Hey Mr. Eeee Aaayyy Voss! I really wan to thank you for your videos, and every one on the Newrockstars team! Your videos, positivity, and consistent warm intros and overall happy and excited vibes really help me out and feel better about things. Your warmness just passes over to me through my screen and just make me feel good. So Thank You Very Much And Keep Up The Good Work!!!
it was nice to hear Nur confirmed as being in the mustafar system, i thought it was when i first saw it in fallen order, and i had read it was on wookiepedia, but it was nice to actually hear it
Reva, "I planted a tracker on them so we can follow them to their secret base."
Darth Vader, "Huh, neat trick. I'll have to remember that one."
I’m glad it showed Obi Wan preparing his equipment for the mission. ie The Force!
Love how the scene where Obi wan is rushed to safety resembles the scene where Padme is dying giving birth with similar “stay with me lines”
Obi wan is hands down my favorite Star Wars character
Clone Wars does him justice 100%
@@thejaded definitely have to agree
Ayyyyy 100%
The thought of The Grand Inquisitor on FMLA and fighting endlessly with his providers and the leave company over paperwork is cracking me up.
I think it would be kinda wicked if the trapped Jedi were actually still alive and helplessly being used somehow to help the Inquisitors.
I was thinking that as well
no they are dead how tf would they be alive? if they got gunned down by the clones?!
@@kookiemonster3126 some of them didn’t get gunned down and were tortured
they are probably dead and just kept there as trophy's
More than likely they are, Im just thinking I could see in twisted way them being kept alive and having their memories of places of where other Jedi could be or other Jedi/Force Sensitives they knew.
Absolutely this is my favourite episode of Kenobi so far, I especially loved it as I’m a Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order fan.
This episode was terrible
@@aureum7479 directors literally said "hey fallen order is fun let's just make a live action version of the last mission that'll be cool right????"
@@aureum7479 Hello Aureum, I don’t disagree with your opinion, but I personally loved this episode due to the fact that I absolutely love the game.
@@ronjohnson8881 Nope... it wasn’t cool
@@aureum7479 the whole thing is dog shit. Poor Ewan. The whole thing is completely beneath him.
Am I the only one that thinks the Interrogation Chamber / Dark room with Obi-Wan scene is VERY reminiscent of The Force Unleashed 2's opening scene ?? I know they've retconned TFU but I mean, Force Sensitive cloning storyline, this scene ... Got me thinking we may get a nerfed Galen Marek.
My mind would be freaking blown if Galen was in this series I freaking loved both games and played them over and over again. I also got all dlcs I was lucky enough later on to get a special edition of TFU that had a metal case and came with a Flash drive with all DLCs ! I loved the sithstalker soo much that I'm getting the same tattoo he had
@@dnicej1293 actually I thought about jedi outcast
@@MrJosh5191 We shared the same childhood brother ! Fingers crossed we get to see our childhood come true !
The biggest Easter egg for me is that this review is nearly as long as the 4th episode !!!
Been looking forward to this video since Wednesday
Same
so yesterday
@@tnltaylor1087 yeah
But these videos are the highlight of my week
does anyone else realize that the fortress inquisitorius looks like a sith way finder
I know some people may not have liked this episode, but i personally loved it. It was very Star Wars, I got to see angry Vader and Obi-Wan using his lightsaber style.
Indeed. Still flawed as a story though but the lightsaber action and reva was very cool.
"I got to see angry Vader" did you skip episode 3?
Getting to the point where star wars should only be handled by Lucas, Filoni, & Favreau...... (Which Sounds like a nerd law firm🤓)
i liked the moment when during a stealth mission a character cohorted random enemy workforce in nanoseconds, "flaws" are very minor just like this entire series' merit and its loyal nincompoop audience
Not some, the majority of people disliked this episode
Obi-Wan snuck Leai out of the Inquisator base like I snuck booze into a ASU football game! Go Devil's and Go Obi-Wan!
I'm not sure if this design made the final cut of the movie or not but there are similar square shaped hooded characters that did
Such an awesome series. Love it…
Sneaking Chipotle into the movie theatre is the BEST idea ever! You've just started a movement.
6:34 This coat reminds me of the ones the SS used. Wouldn't suprise me if it's inspired from the third Reich as many uniforms, ships and even palps and Vader are.
I mean the empire is essentially space nazi's
@@firelordkushroll I know that George was inspired by Uniforms from the Wehrmacht and other stuff from the Third Reich. But this coat looks exactly like the one from the SS.
Those two random stormtroopers surely are Tag and Bink...
Have a bit of an issue with those "snow"speeders. They are too small. Yes one seaters, but with cargospace which cant hold 2 persons
Make that 3.. tala got in too. There was 4 of them in a 1 seater lol
They generally hold two. A pilot and rear gunner/(harpooner) like in ESB. I can see Obi-Wan with Leia on his lap, not sure how Tala fit in there though
@@l750z_6 yes correct
They hold 2 people......the pilot and the gunner
@@ianvchavez yeah but there was 4 in the ship. The pilot. Obi wan, leia and tala
Love the mean girls reference iykyk 😂😂 6:55
I stoped paying attention to Star Wars, but because of this series I’m back on Star Wars
im sorry you came back to this... please go watch The Mandalorian for some real star wars
Ignore JYD2020. You're allowed to like it.
Burst out laughing on “YoU Don’T EVeN gO HeRe!” 😂😂😂😂
CANT WAIT FOR THE NEXT ONE
15:13 Did Purge Troopers have the beehive shaped helmets previously?
This might be a bit of a stretch, and it would be odd to have this character with other Jedi, but I thought the character with the square-shaped head piece in tomb looked sort of like Freedon Nadd. Unlikely, but possible
If you got to 18:54 in the episode it looks like Plo Koon on the right, even though his ship crashed in Episode III.
The most sadest thing about this episode is the run time of it around 30 minuts, and it makes it feel rushed in therm of the story
It was 38
@@l750z_6 credits don’t count
@@stevekaszas1359 I know
I agree. At this rate they really should have just made a 2hr movie
It should have had 45-50 minutes like the rest of the episodes
Has anyone managed to get a look at the light sabers on the shelf. Wondering if Ahsoka’s ones there as Vader would potentially have it at this point after finding it abandoned after order 66
Been waiting for this
I hope if obi wan fights the grand inquisitor duel of the fates play in the background
It's an impenetrable fortress...unless you are alive, then you can probably break in
Obi-Wan Kenobi: This is not a fortress, it’s a tomb.
Wanda Maximoff: This is not a tomb, it’s a throne.
@3:08 Finn is a Kenobi confirmed 🤣
Yesss thank you for this 💯🔥🔥🔥🔥
wish the rest of the fan base was like you Erik you criticises the right things with logical reasons but love it regardless because it is star wars
Love the Chekhov reference. If a gun is introduced in a story... it will he used.
The T-47's look real jank in this episode.
That seeker droid type is also used by Iden Versio in the starwars battlefront 2 story mode.
for some reason the quick visual of Leia literally strattled about Ben's leg and fully "walking" underneath the coat along with him having me in tears laughing
2:18 was almost certain he was going to say "Two brothers, in the same....bath!" :p
Now I want some damn chipotle.
Nobody beats Adam Driver at yelling TrAiToR 🤣🤣
I really wanted to love this episode but it was just so goofy to me💀
