@@oneilldiaz4255 Guess who that was in this movie ? Beside one of the russo told it on an interview I watched not long ago, I'll get back at you if I can find it again.
A masterpiece indeed. I never get tired of watching this movie. All the details, the soundtrack and those badass fight scenes(especially the highway fight scene), are what make this movie so great.
I served in the US army for 14 years and never thought you could break down what makes a good soldier so eloquently and simply and find those things in a comic book movie.
You forgot The Baxter Building, it was shown during Hydra’s assassination attempts but not seen, it was listed as one of Hydra’s targets thus debunking the theory in far from home.
Winter Soldier, at least to me, is what really locked in Marvel Movies after the Avengers, allowing for team ups and story lines to be included that don’t all wrap up at once. Everything in phase 1 built to Avengers, and the success of Phase 1 made the rest possible, but I think Phase 2 is where you start to get the major highlights (which helps when the final movie of the Phase isn’t universally loved, but we’ll get to that comment in due time), the movies that don’t stand alone but move the pieces in big ways. As the introductions diminish and they start focusing more on team up movies, the real strength of a well created Comic Cinematic Universe shines.
It's not like they (the viewers) need to stick to a schedule during isolation. you won't be late for school or work when you are stuck at home for 6 weeks.
Something I've always loved about Cap's MCU suit is the magnet on his back that holds his shield in place is in the shape of a star reflecting his comic book outfit where the suit has a star on the front and back.
Hoping to see Lumaria and Atlantis in the Eternals! I have watched this movie in last few months, and it is by far one of the best MCU movies. Love how action oriented, and very grounded it is.
Winter Soldier shows just how much Joe and Anthony pour into their work. It makes me appreciate the movies so much more and being able to connect certain details from this movie to Endgame made watching it so much more emotional. This is my all time favorite and always will be!!
these videos are so good, I'm doing my own MCU rewatch right now (chronological order) and I watch these vids directly after the certain movie I watch that night, some of these details are absolutely wonderful, these movies are seriously works of art
Totally my favorite since it's release. Stayed that way even thru endgame. Doesn't hurt that I adore Robert Redford in general. He's amazing. Timeless classic here with Winter Soldier. It'll stand the test.
I recently rewatched this movie…and holy crap what a era.. this film was a masterpiece. Yes. There’s Civil war, infinity war, and endgame, but this paid the way to it. This was first
One more thing I noticed during the Steve v. Bucky street fight: For a brief moment, Bucky holds Cap’s shield before throwing it. This is a smoking gun, just minutes before the reveal, since Bucky also held the shield during the train scene in The First Avenger.
After watching this after secret invasion aired, and you were right about furys' wife being a skrull, it proves you are the best break-down professional you tuber
Nick talks about his wife, in "the falcon and the winter soldier" we do have Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, so maybe this is all connected, after all, both have winter soldier in the title.
When nick fury’s door is being broke down just before the winter solider is introduced the shield on the door goes from 31% to 19% this is another 12 percent joke that I haven’t seen any one mention
This movie is one of the best movies marvel has ever made, especially because of its realism for almost the entire movie. All the fight scenes not exaggerated and most of it you could say hey you know what that could actually happen in our world. Also the soundtrack detail, wow just wow!!! Hats off to the Russo brothers and the team working behind this movie.
I'm surprised that Erik didn't say (or probably most likely didn't notice) that the “Hail Hydra” line that capt used was a reference to the Secret Empire storyline. It was also referenced in Endgame when past and future capt fought, as evil capt and original capt did.
I attended one of those ridiculous movie theater Marvel marathons at an AMC for Infinity War when it released. For many of the movies, several seats in the auditorium were empty as viewers would take their own intermissions during the films they were less into. I myself would briefly come and go during times of lesser interest. During Winter Soldier, I couldnt see any empty seats. I think this one may be my favorite Marvel feature as well. Just a flawless movie.
I've been reordering my list with the rewatch, but I seriously doubt this one will ever be less than #1. Every single time I watch this movie I like it better than before.
With you 100% on that list. As great a film as CATWS is, nothing will ever top The Avengers for me. I can recite it at this point but still it never gets old.
