I teach music (laid off as of now 4/23) at a music school. Independent contractor b.s. My tax form says that I catch fish or something. My Grandfather was in the music union. I wish there was still a music union like he had.
I trust Jesse more then Bischoff. Yet Bischoff had the nerve to say something about Jesse on his podcast that kinda sounded like Jesse wouldn't do. And Jesse has great memories for his age.
Jesse Ventura speaks the truth. Professional wrestlers need to unionize right now.
Jesse is 100% right about the Independent Contractor, but even though Hogan stooged him to Vince, the union thing wouldn't have worked in Wrestling, especially in the mid 80s. There was simply too few spots, and all the top guys to upper mid-card guys were making more money then they had before, so they weren't going to rock the boat. That's all Vince needed at the time was the top to upper mid carders.
Jesse is a flat out smart man who has had a amazing and great life.
UFC fighters need a union too. They are also called ‘independent contractors’.
Ventura literally tells the exact same stories in every interview.

Jesse should check on the network, because I see him more often than not on what i watch because I don’t watch anything after 2006ish.
Speaking the truth…it’s what keeps Jesse out of the White House & what has him basically blackballed from the wrestling biz…harsh reality of telling the truth on people.
Ventura is the coolest.
