I want to do the same thing on my z900. But i have a leo vince lvcorsa slip on. Do you think its gonna be too loud? I dont want to piss off my neighbours. Do you regret this mod?
I don't find it to be overly loud. One of the reason I did this was because I know a full exhaust system would be really loud. My bike is still not as loud as some friends that have full systems. I didn't want it to be obnoxious.
Nice bike. Great video. I just did this mod on mine as well, I noticed a leak in the mid link that connects to the cat. Have you noticed this? I clamped it down as much as I could but I’m still getting exhaust leak? Any ideas? Comments? Anyone?
I haven't experienced a leak but have read posts from others who have. Guess it's hit or miss when we purchase these things. Maybe you can try a different clamp and see if that works.
That is one of the first things I did to my '24 Z900 as well. You may not want it to be obnoxious for your neighbors, but they're going to notice it now! 🤣 I try to keep my rpm's down in my neighborhood by riding extra slow or moving up to 3rd gear so I don't irritate anyone. Don't sh*t where you eat, as the saying goes lol. I also have the same LV exhaust but moved up to a longer Yoshi Alpha because that LV was just a bit too much for me after awhile.
@@rich075 I heard that, not to mention the added expense of a hi flow air filter/AIS block off plates/ECU flash. After removing the tank to install my Annitori quick shifter, that task is not something I feel like doing again anytime soon! It wasn't overly difficult but doing it on my brand new bike was nerve-wracking. But, it definitely is something in the future for me as I do want the bike tuned, I'm just not in a hurry. You'll have to post how you like the CS racing exhaust once you get it, I'd be interested to know how it sounds with the bread box delete, I think I've only heard them with a full header swap. You'll definitely hear more of the exhaust when riding with it down under your feet vs behind you, I tried a small can coming straight off that mid link pipe but found the drone to be obnoxious. Good luck!
@@vegadeth7666 All of those things are next on my list. Will probably get it flashed within the next 3 or 4 months. Trying to time it when I go on vacation since i won't be riding it anyway.
Hey man, are you able to provide the link on ebay of where you bought that mid link pipe from? I have a 2024 as well however can not find any for 2024. All the pipes I see are for max 2023. Does the 2023 fit on the 2024?

@@rich075 picked up a different clamp today and fixed the issue. Thanks.
@@NoFair_Z glad to hear that. Ride safe!
Looking to do the same with the cs racing, I’ll check back when you get the cs slip on
Website says up to 45 day delivery time and I ordered mine Feb. 22nd so hopefully soon.

Yeah I was torn between a complete header swap and this. The major price difference was a factor lol.

Just checked my email and my exhaust has shipped!

I used this one. You may have to smooth the edges down slightly to get it to slide on initially but it fits perfectly. www.ebay.com/itm/395091698566
