Honestly, the more I watch and read content related to the kibbe system, the more I start to realise the system is full of contradictions and just flawed in general
Kibbe is always wrong lol. I dont trust the man. He may have come up with a system but it doesnt mean that he is good at using it. The system was built off someone else's work already. He also has moved many celebrities from one type to another. I mean i think that the verified kibbe list should be taken with a grain of salt.
I love the example of Tina Turner! She fascinates me and I don't think she's talked about enough in conversations about proportions!! There's a hilarious quote from her where she says something along the lines of looking like a little pony. Such an icon.
I think you’re great at explaining these concepts but this somewhat breaks or makes me doubt the Kibbe system which I found so genius. I’m 5’7, there is no way I’m SD, D or FN. like I can tell you those styles do not suit me at all. Idk
I just wanted to tell you that you give a really holistic approach to Kibbe's methods without inserting your own interpretations as fact. You never act as if you know as much as Kibbe, or are out here charging $300 for body typing like a lot of these greedy Kibbe TH-camrs haha. Just appreciate you so much <3
To me, the Kibbe height limits feel utterly incorrect & unfair - already at a very moderate height (which 5'6 really is), you can only ever be automatic vertical & automatically yang, and one of just 3 ID's! And if none of those fit you, then what do you do..? (I'm myself in a quandary where one the ID under the height limit would be a better fit, but I'm 5'7.)
Thank you for clarifying about Rihanna, I'm a TR and I always thought she didn't really look petite and have double curve. I think that this has confused people for years as to what a TR actually is and looks like. Also she can pull of so many oversized looks and fabrics that would drown a real TR.
The thing with Rihanna is that she is a celebrety since she was a teen, 16 or something maybe even 15 if the event happened then maybe she had the height of a theatrical romantic, people normaly grow a lot until they are 19-20 years
I'm still a bit confused. I thought I had short arms and moderate legs. So Soft Natural made sense to me (I do have clearly visible width). Then I thought, I might be a bit to "dry" for SN but would lack vertical to be FN. But the softer, romantic leaning lines of the SN feel odd on me. I am 168cm tall. I also checked the proportions of my arms and legs again (I find it hard to see those in myself) and my arms are rather moderate and my legs moderate to long (depending on which definition you read through). So would that automatically mean I can't be SN and would much rather be FN? (Coz SN = width + curve, FN = width + vertical.) It's not too important to me, but I'm always curious to learn new things and that would explain, why I like FN clothes more on myself than SN clothes (which I thought was just personal preference in my case).

Audrey Hepburn is a great example of Kibbe's confusion about proportion vs. essence.
Im kinda wondering if Audrey Hepburn is a Dramatic

Marilyn Monroe stood tall at 5 ft 5 inches (many sites say 5.6), Kate Winslet is 5ft 6, so they are SD or R?

Wow, you really explained that very well! I totally agree about Audrey Hepburn I see dramatic classic. So glad 😊

Jessica Lange: FN
I'm exactly 5'6 / 167cm. I don't have any straight lines. People comment on my petite-ness overall. TR lines fit me perfectly.
This helped solidify what type i thought i was. THANKYOU.

Basically, Twiggy and other tall FG can be D too.
This helped me so much, your explanation of curve and elongation make perfect sense in understanding vertical!
Please do more videos about SD please
