This video shows the importance of essence really over body type. Your Kibbe type may be FN, but all of the "Romantic essence" clothing, SD, TR, R are so gorgeous on you because of your essence. They are by far my favorite on you.
This isn't a compliment. You tried to compliment using "you look great in romantic lines" sh*t. Stop it. Not every beautiful woman shows romantic undercurrent to some degree. Not everyone is romantic. And they don't have to be to appear sexy. Stop it
I think they're both equally important, if you have a certain essence but you try to wear clothes that are that essence/aesthetic but they're not cut in a way to fit certain body types then it's going to look very odd. However, you might still be able to pull it off enough because of your essence.
Best Kibbe video out there. I will stop searching and obsessing over this now. I will stick to my curated and perfected personal style that has served me well. It’s outside my lines but i make it work by expanding it. Suites me way better than my strict lines because of something called “personality”
im guessing soft dramatic so after watching you describe the flaboyant natural it makes sense that the tight dress, topped with the loose jacket in soft dramatic looked so good on you. i can see how you take these "rules" and make them fit your own comfort and style. so cool!
I am a Dramatic, but a lot of my wardrobe is looser fitting clothes and separates. However, I think the reason it fits me well despite my type is because I generally pick 1 color per outfit and so even if they are separate or loose, the monochrome keeps the line. Just something fun that you might want to try as a Dramatic who doesn't like wearing super heavy things all of the time. :)
Love kibbe because it gets easier to find clothes. Kibbe and style are different things, I am a SN, but I LOVE SG and FG clothes, I just need to combine pieces and try new things. Btw you looked stunning with TR clothes.
Totally agree! That’s why I think kibbe is great when you’re beginning your style journey or want to hone your style more. From there you can start to tweak your best lines with the clothes you want to wear 🥰
It's also so much nicer to buy clothes that you know are going to work for you instead of buying them, trying to actually style them and realizing it looks horrible 😭
Another thing that you can do after the quiz is to show a close friend or significant other the type outlines and ask them which type reminds them of you/which one fits you best. This is helpful because sometimes it's hard to be objective about our own bodies, as mentioned. At first I thought I was a classic but now I know I'm a flamboyant natural like you :)
I love that you talk about Kibbe as a starting point! I thought I was a SN for a while. When I reassessed my lines at different times in my life, I realized I was definitely a FN. My weight fluctuates a lot. I think seeing myself with more weight confused me a bit, so when I saw an old video of me at a lower weight it was so much easier to see the length and angles. I had totally neglected my vertical line! I also love to try SD lines and I feel like they fit me pretty well. I tend to wear more structured pieces on the bottom half of my body and more flowing, relaxed pieces on top. It honors my length and still lets my shoulders have some wiggle room. 😂 I also like that bringing in dramatic lines creates an edgier look. It really suits my personality. My face doesn’t really match my body type, so that also creates an interesting contrast. My face is much more yin - mostly an ingenue/ethereal vibe.
I'm a dramatic (narrow, no width, tall) but with a more natural face and "vibe" So to test I'm starting to use things I've never tried before! Who knew that "pirate vampire renaissance" style would fit perfectly for me lol
I'm SN and it was the best thing I discovered up to that time. I loved how I finally could find something that works for me. Basically, I don't fit with body shapes because "inverted triangle" rules don't apply to SN. Big bust on an inverted triangle can't find any "body shape" rules that work, so yes, I loved knowing SN guides. I guessed right, you are FN and it looks great on you. Second best thing I ever found actually became the first best thing and that is Dressing Your Truth. Nothing beats that, but I like to add SN to it. It's not necessary, but it helps. And, whenever I try to go to one of your links, I get asked to fill in the captcha, so I leave. Why does that happen?
100% some sort of natural. You certainly never looked BAD in any of the outfits but the reaction I had to the natural outfits was "wow" whereas for the gamine or romantic etc ones was more like "oh yeah she looks alright". The classic dresses and the dramatic outfits looked almost like you were very intentionally aiming for a particular look in a way that I think is more unnatural than if someone with those body types wore those same outfits.
This video was so helpful! I'm a soft natural with a natural and an ingenue/ethereal essence. And your videos have really helped me figure that out. It's helped me be more deliberative and understand where to start when I develop my style!
I think my balance is an illusion lol!! But DC's and Fn's have a lot of similarities, so I can see that. I think my yang is pretty blunt overall, though. But I will say Kibbe can be very subjective!🙃
You are so funny and you make it easy to use this system with without being"boxed in". Thank you for this video. I learned so much. P. S. I loved you in dramatic natural, but I love your flamboyant honesty best.
Interesting! I think that you rocked a lot of the outfits - Flamboyant Gamine, Soft Dramatic and Theatrical Romantic were my favorite on you, while different outfits washed you out. I definitely thought you were one of the "bigger" Id's though. I always thought I had a softer body type but that's just my essence and kind of neotenous face, my body is definitely strong Yang + some softness, either Flamboyant Natural or Soft Dramatic. When I am at my normal weight, I can look good in a lot of different outfits and styles but once I gain weight I have to be more conscious of my "lines" to feel okay in my skin. Really loved your delivery, your videos deserve more views.
Thank you! I think essence can play a huge role in things. I have a romantic essence (But blunt yang body) which is why I think I pull off SD or TR-influenced clothes. Sounds like you're similar! But, ultimately, any piece of clothing can be tailored to an ID. The fun part is picking and choosing how you use your style lines. Sometimes I really want to look my best and I make sure I"m checking more FN boxes. Other times, I like to look a bit edgier and I don't. Thanks for the thoughtful comment!
Before seeing the results, I must say that you looked GORGEOUS on SD, FN and FG lines. I think you’re probably FN, but you can pull off those other lines pretty dam well. (The classics looks are a bit complicated to me, i think they always look good on almost everybody 😅)
thank you! Classics lines are funny, like they look put-together on almost everyone but I also think they tend to wash me out a bit. Like my essence craves more !😅
You did an excellent job choosing all of the outfits! I agree that you looked awesome in the DC outfit! The D outfit also looked good, although DC looked even more harmonious. The SD outfit looked great as well, but I believe that can also be worn by DC. I don’t really see width in your shoulders. I am SN, and I think my shoulders are wider. But if you are confident in your ID, you may be right.
Thank you! So when comparing width you can't compare it to other people. It's all about in proportion to your other features. If you look at my features you'll see yang (which you already see by liking the DC and D outfits). But if you look at my edges they are blunt, not soft or sharp. The "kibbe photo" for typing really shows it. But, there is so much nuance to kibbe!
I will also add I think that DC dress is just really really well cut. I don’t look nearly as good in other DC lines. I’m working on a video of kibbe jeans for each ID and Eek classic lines don’t look great..
I guessed either DC or FN! I absolutely love flamboyant natural's style and body, i mean every ID has a unique beauty but FN has that model type vibe obviously. Great video!
I often think Flamboyant Natural is a neon popping athletic wear person. I think you also looked adorable as a Flamboyant Gamine. Thanks for this fun perspective!
This video was sooo good! Thanks for making it! I would say that while most outfits were spot on, the romantic outfit was not right. That dress looked more suited for some type of gamine. Relatively stiff straightness with no waist or cleavage emphasis. Didn’t skim the body at all, it made its own silhouette. A romantic would look like she’s trying to wear her little sisters clothes in that dress. Other than that you nailed the essences in a way that I’ve not seen on other videos like this. Definitely subscribing!
Thank you so much for the feedback! I thought with the watercolor pattern, and puff sleeve it was going in the right direction. But since I'm almost the opposite of a romantic, I'll have to try again 🙃 I appreciate the help and glad you liked it!
Wow this really demonstrates some of the theory. Many of the outfits, towards gamine, wore you. Towards the beginning ids you and your bodies beauty were the focus.
I've always struggled with this system as I'm tall at 5ft 10 but I have a large hip to waist ratio which is about 12ins difference and my shoulder line is slender but somewhat broad probably in line with my hips. I have a defined waist and a smaller bust but not flat chested and all my bones are elongated yet I have a very short upper body! And a small face with soft lines and little angularity. So for me I've never been able to type myself I'm like a mix of dramatic and theatrical and romantic 😅 I do however love to wear long flowing lines in sumptuous fabrics with waist definition
So I can’t type based on just a description. But based on the general parameters and your need for waist definition and sumptuous fabrics, I might check out the Soft Dramatic 🥰
I'm new, haven't seen any of your other videos, but I am PRAYING there is one just like this for MBTI personality types. Complete with appropriate outfits for each.
You slayed in the theatrical romance, soft dramatic and soft classic ID outfits. It’s really clear that you have a romantic style essence which is why I prefer the Kitchener style essences more than kibbe. It’s so much more intuitive than kibbe.
Watched your essence video and now I'm binging hahahaha love your personality and editing style! I'm SN but definitely noticed I love wearing a lot D + FG stereotyped clothing, like I'll have a linen dress in a silhouette that suits a lot of SNs (and Rs too), but it's covered in a bright lemon pattern + I pair it with platform lace sneakers and big lemon earrings. Or... A tight fitted, maxi, rib knit tank dress, which most SNs I know hate on themselves. I'm not sure if I have a dramatic or gamine essence (or both, or it could be dramatic + ingenue or gamine + ingenue, bc I have a lot of menswear/"masculine" pieces that I mix with very "feminine" pieces) but I'm not sure it matters if I love almost everything in my wardrobe 🤣 it's just fun to describe yourself 😉
Loved this breakdown, super helpful and put things into perspective visually. You have great taste btw and you make it entertaining while getting to the point and not rambling. Subscribed. Please make more style videos!
Thank you for not preaching that it's the end all be. 🙏 It's been helping me a lot because, as you said, I'm lost. I never knew much about fashion. I knew I was intuitively drawn to a lot of the recommendations for the type I strongly suspect I am, but never knew why. And the recommendations are helping me realize WHY those things work. The system is helping me learn clothing terminology and what cuts and fabrics work best for me. But it's not the gospel truth or the only way to approach fashion. It's fun, and I find it really interesting, but it's an art, not an exact science. Not to say that you can't be dead wrong...if you're confusing a dramatic with a romantic you just lack understanding of the system. But there's a lot of overlap. There are either 10 or 13 types, but only 5 accommodations. (Well, if you don't get into differentiating curve/double curve, and slight vertical and whatnot.) Once you have a fundamental understanding of what works for you...or honestly, even if you don't...IMO knowing and understanding the accommodations are way more important than knowing your "correct" ID and following am the recommendations. Borrow from an ID with similar accommodations. The fashion police aren't going to come for you.
This was great! Thanks. I thought you pulled off dramatic well, but honestly everyone looks good in one long uniform color if the proportions are right. Same with the flamboyant gamine. I love some of tha t color blocking and I’m a flamboyant natural as well and I do think we can wear some of that in the right mix.
Thank you! I think the FN tan/white combo works ( I should have ditched the black belt) because it's tonal, plus the longer coat keeps the vertical in tact as well. Layering definitely helps give you options as an FN🥰
I saw your later video on Kibbe first. Love this one. Love, love, love!!!!!!!! I see exactly what you mean about being a flamoyant natural. But for some reason I preferred you in the Soft Dramatic get-up. Which brings me to another point. Not every Flamboyant Natural is rugged or chiseled looking. Facial features and textures play into these things, too, which is why I think many Flamboyant Naturals look better in refined clothing, which probably comes close to the edge of Soft Dramatic.
@@Gabriellearrudadesign Totally identify. I am also FN, but I find a nuanced fusion of SD really ramps things up for me. My main essences are stairstepped 5 points apart in this order: Natural/Angelic/Romanctic/Dramatic. I have seen a lot of slip-and-slide between FN and SD with a lot of Natural types with extra Romantic and Angelic essence. They usually get typed by Kibbe into one or the other FN/SD category, it seems to me. Yet we carry our essences in different ways and it's wonderful to see how individual we still come out. You have explained Kibbe and PSC together better than anyone else I have come across. What an inspiration you have been! Keep up the great work.
I became muslim about 5 years ago and I started dressing modestly and wearing hijab. I got rid of all my old clothes so I wouldn't be tempted and now I have forgotten what looks good on me and i have no idea how to look good for myself and my husband so discovering kibbe has helped remember what clothes I looked good in and made me understand why I look good in them
I love this video and your attitude toward personalizing. I'm a dramatic classic looks-wise... but I am also quite muscular, prefer to look androgynous, and love playful patterns. I wear a lot of plaid-patterned, houndstooth, checked but still DC silhouette... except when I don't want to 😂
You put it into perspective.. kibbe is just one aspect. Everyone thinks they're a tr so I doubt myself, but that's still what I think I am. But I want to be free to wear other styles. Our choices don't need to be limited to by whats the utmost figure flattering thing all the time. I like that you showed us that little jab about the bra. Lol.
Your body is clearly Dramatic to me (I don't see width), but your face essence is a mix to Dramatic + Romantic + Classic, in the essence system you can have 3, dominant, secondary and tertiary essence.
@@rowanjoy419 Kitchener essences- is style essences so you can go to him (john Kitchener). You can also watch my interview with andrea Pflaumer who was trained by john and PSC essences.
@@YumeraChauque You are obviously entitled to your opinion, but I trust the people who were trained and developed the style essence system to accurately give me my results. It's fine if you disagree, but you don't really need to inform me of it, as I'm happy with my style, thanks.
Pretty sure my bestie from high school is fn. I love how you wear the clothes and the clothes don’t wear you. I could never understand why her clothes wouldn’t look good on me and sometimes mine wouldn’t look good on her. Now it makes sense. She has an effortless beauty that could look very untidy on my smaller frame.
Loved your video! I'll watch it a few more times bc I loved seeing the overall picture. I will say tho that kibbe does emphasize that adding waist emphasis to a FN is not helpful and the outift you picked created major contrast at the waist. Would have loved to see something with more verticle. Looking forward to exploring more of your content!!
Yes, he generally recommends to be careful with waist emphasis with the FN. But he does say the "bloused over" effect can work which is what I was going for. But I totally get your point.
100% flamboyant natural. When you put that outfit on, I suddenly went from ooh I love these clothes to wow she looks soooo good!? With the floppy hair and relaxed clothes your face looked so cute and fresh. And what was interesting was I didn’t feel the same about the natural and soft natural looks. But I actually really liked the TR look as well, and I wonder if that’s because of your romantic essence? It was kind of dressy and done up, but not in a bad way!
Wow, I can’t believe I guessed right but clearly my research is paying off. You just looked really comfortable and naturally beautiful in the flamboyant natural clothes. Plus I could tell you had vertical and some width so it seemed to make sense for you. Love the video!
So I am intrigued by the Kibbe system because it is confusing 😂. I love how you don’t take it seriously. When I saw your shoulders I guessed one of the naturals but I actually preferred the flamboyant gamine outfit on you.
It gets easily over complicated because of all the factors😂! Fashion should be fun, and kibbe imo is a spectrum. Also, I think FNs can pull off a leggy look too, so that’s why this FG look is appealing to a lot of ppl. Also those shoes make me really tall - and forces a vertical even though there are some horizontal breaks
I strongly dislike my kibbe ID lol! I am "Natural" (pure natural, even if kibbe doesn't use that one anymore). My kibbe recommendations are everything i hate lol! I wanted to be pure dramatic... but nope! Anyway! Good video! Very entertaining! I love your sense of humour! By the way, the TR outfit looks really stunning on you!! It was my favorite so far! So i thought you were TR.
thank you! I totally get hating your ID, i did at first too! And honestly, there are some big flaws in the system. I don't think people really dress in one "image identity" anymore. And, I actually think the naturals get more flexibility with their outfits because of the ong vertical line (we can pull of more stuff). You might also have a dramatic essence which could be why you're drawn to those pure dramatic lines. But ultimately, I say, wear what you like and feel best in! 🥰
So I find the information from David/his wife in the group very helpful. But I just found the overall vibe of the group to be a bit constricting overall
you are definitely Flamboyant Natural, but you pull off all the Dramatic lines excellently. I have doubts about my ID: I am 5.55, have quite straight shoulders, almost same to hips. I am quite in proportion, so people are not surprised of my height at all. I have rounded edges, but with some length. I even thought of romantic, but my facial features lack this lushness. I look better in fitted rather than oversized. slight sharpness is OK, oversized- definitely not. Can pull off some loose fit. I also have a bit of kid -like facial features, but without far-seated eyes
I loved dramatic classic and natural . In flamboyant gamine you looked edgy. I think DC recommendations would be good as a start for all flamboyant types and for dramatic. SC recommendations would be good as a start for all soft , romantic types . And the person can use those as a canvas then play with it adding their flavour and personality . And it would be good.
I guessed your kibbe ID so fast! I myself had so much struggle finding my own type. I really wanted to be gamine but turns out I am a TR. 🙃 I am mixing the essence of gamine with TR lines now. Works really well. 👍
It's funny that you say everybody hates their ID at first, because I found my results very affirming the first time I took the test. I'm a Soft Classic? Oh, so that's why I need symmetry all the time. Oh so that's why I hate sneakers. Ah, so _that's_ why anything too boxy, heavy, or structured makes me feel like a truck! Suddenly everything made sense.
You’re amazing, I so badly wanted to know my type but got so confused with all the types and various other videos, I couldn’t sort list one type. I have a very hourglass structure, my hip and bust (full) are almost of same size, 5’3” in height, has some sharpness in face like narrow eyes, sharp eyebrows, kinda big forehead and nose, thin upper lip but full lower lip. Sharp jawlines in bone structure but not too sharp in visual with the muscles. And when I’m overweight, my upper torso still has abs but all the fat tends to go straight to lower belly and inner thigh region, around hip and when I was underweight but cheeks became shallow and sharp along with jawlines but normally the cheeks are not so lush, it’s kinda thin as if I applied bronze and my eyes are little inside than the cheeks forming two lines under eyes joining to the nose, when I smile I do get a smiling crease. People do say I look slightly more taller than my height, and I think, I have slight longitude nature. Very narrow straight boyish looking legs below the knees, narrow hands and big palms and feet, narrow lengthy fingers and my shoulders are kinda sharp and blunt with no muscle in shoulders or in upper arms If possible, can please tell me what you think my type might be? Or any recommendations yo find out. I would be forever be grateful. Regardless, I subscribed. Do upload more videos, it’s helpful. Have a great day ahead!!
You look red-carpet ready in the soft dramatic outfit *chef's kiss", classic is alright but too 'rounded' at the shoulders, flamboyant gamine had too much of a contrast between the jacket and blouse (probably reminded me of an aesthetic which is why it stood out to me) and theatrical romantic dress was sexy but made you look elegant. I think soft dramatic suited you the best even though you clearly are a natural of sorts. The other impressions I got possibly tie in with your essence
I am a FN too but now I know I also have a ingenue and romantic essence and now I am so confused 🙈 because one is Yin and one Yang … I love FN Lines and love pastel colors and Girly stuff
Dê uma olhada em Malaika Firth e Elle Fanning, elas tem essência ingénua dominante(Elle é misturada com classica),são naturais extravagantes com rosto jovial.
Not exactly- but FN and SD do share vertical accommodation and I do borrow some SD silhouettes. My essence blend includes romantic/dramatic/natural which I think helps me pull those ones off
FN all the way! When you came out in that outfit the split second you showed up to the world I was like yes girl yes!! So jealous you can pull that off that is my fantasy look… Alas, I do not have the vertical lines way too much curve going on
@@Gabriellearrudadesign I recently received feedback that I may be Soft Natural!? That was not on my radar at all… so if that’s true, we’re in the same family 👊🏼 how would you tell the main difference between SN and SC ? I’m just curious
@@sarahmotlong949 SN is a great ID! SC and SN both deal with soft fabrics to honor their yin. But the SN has slightly more relaxed aesthetic. You want softer edges, a bit more flowing lines, and less seaming/tailoring tailoring than the SC. You can also do more asymmetrical pieces as an SN. With SN you still need some shaping around your waist usually though, which is why bias and draping is your friend.
Loved you in the silk slink petticoat dress and pink coat. You seem to me to have that hidden away…but you are so good at it. Like a forbidden pleasure, you keep bouncing around pretending it’s not there. Emotional freedom technique clears emotional blocks.
I thought you were flamboyant of some type. I actually used that article on plus sizes to figure my ID out. I’m a romantic but I don’t feel I have an hourglass figure. Other than that it all fits my body type. I’m short. I look short. I’ve had full breast since 6th grade yada yada. The thing is I don’t feel very romantic in what I pick fashion wise. I do tend to get compliments often. Now, I’ll have to see if I get more when I’m dress for my ID. I just don’t really like pastel colors or flowy fabrics. 😬
Honestly I find kibbles system fails me regularly. I am flamboyant natural as well, but I'm chubby, which makes me completely shapeless when I combine flowy baggy top AND bottom. According to kibbe I can add pants that are tight on the hips with a wide leg to give shape, but being bigger I find everything that hugs my round stomach and is tight on the crotch is extremely unflattering. I found wearing high waisted, long skirts or dresses (think vintage A-line) suits me well, but I have to combine them with a tight top to avoid the baggy-on-baggy potato-sack look. I honestly feel like vintage lines (30s to 50s) are the only thing that suits my type and personal style preference, but that isn't practical. All I want is to wear cute feminine girly clothes or printed t shirts, but both apparently don't work for my body type :/ I don't WANT to be "baggy effortless *cool* girl", it makes me feel like when I was depressed and crawled into an oversized hoodie to go out. I want to look put together and adorable. Like what's the point if I can't have poofy sleeves and frills and flower print, or alternatively dress in a way that shows off my good features like my butt and long, skinny, toned legs?
Because of the style lines or bone structure? I think my yang is a bit too blunt to be a DC ( you can really see it in my nose, chin, and shoulder edge). And my torso definitely has width (which i hide well I think lol!)
This video shows the importance of essence really over body type. Your Kibbe type may be FN, but all of the "Romantic essence" clothing, SD, TR, R are so gorgeous on you because of your essence. They are by far my favorite on you.

technically just use FN lines but the colours have to be from your colour palette, and other details can go along your essence, that is all.
i loved soft dramatic on you! you can definitely pull it off even as a flamboyant natural
Thank you! 🥰
I thought so too and I also enjoyed the dramatic on her.
Absolutely. I feel like that specific outfit meets FN guidelines too, so that's why she looks soo good with it

My guess is Soft Natural or Flamboyant natural. You looked great in most of the lines. But you looked best in SD, SN and FN to me.
Yup! I'm an FN 🥰 and thank you!
I am a soft natural
Soft dramatic, soft natural and soft classic looked good on you.
Those are usually the top two picks! I’ve come to love FN but it’s always a journey to like your id and not others 🥰 and glad you liked it
I often think Flamboyant Natural is a neon popping athletic wear person. I think you also looked adorable as a Flamboyant Gamine. Thanks for this fun perspective!
I struggle to find feminine items to wear as FN, all of them looks sporty or too unstructured
The soft dramatic outfit and soft classic outfit look the best on you in my opinion. The soft natural was not too bad either
that's interesting because i think the soft classic is one of the worst outfits on me! fashion can definitely be subjective 😅
@@Gabriellearrudadesign thank you! I shall go and check that out :) appreciate your reply!
I think that you may be a soft dramatic
I'm new, haven't seen any of your other videos, but I am PRAYING there is one just like this for MBTI personality types. Complete with appropriate outfits for each.
You slayed in the theatrical romance, soft dramatic and soft classic ID outfits.
It’s really clear that you have a romantic style essence which is why I prefer the Kitchener style essences more than kibbe.
It’s so much more intuitive than kibbe.
I agree-I think essences are equally important! I have my essence video coming out in a couple hours 🥰 and thank you 😊
Watched your essence video and now I'm binging hahahaha love your personality and editing style!
So fun and I’m glad you’re seeing how to mix it all together
Loved this breakdown, super helpful and put things into perspective visually. You have great taste btw and you make it entertaining while getting to the point and not rambling. Subscribed. Please make more style videos!
Thank you so much🥰 I'll definitely be doing more!
I really like your sense od humour and the light touch to that theme :)
Loved this. I would like to see you fo this again, but with one type of outfit. Maybe just dresses or jeans with a button down top.
That's a great idea! I bet I have all the pieces in my closet already 🙃
You deserve so many more followers for this quality content
Thank you, that’s very nice of you to say! 😊
I think FNs look great in many lines - thats why FNs are models. :D My favourite look on you is dramatic
It's interesting how people love your SD outfit since SD and FN are both very similar to eachother, especially with a curvy FN.
Yes! I think essence plays into it as well!
Totally agree! I have some romantic essence which is kitcheners system which I think helps me merge those two suggestions 👍🏻🥰
I wear a lot of plaid-patterned, houndstooth, checked but still DC silhouette... except when I don't want to 😂
Gah lee you are so good at this! LOVE the analogies and have learned SO MUCH! Thank you thank you thank you
You're so welcome, thank you!
Oh, this video and the blog post on weight gain patterns helped so much, I know that I'm a DC now.
Lol.
I’m an FG, but I love the natural look. So clean and lightly feminine.
I think every ID likes aspects of other IDs. I love the staccato lines and cool accessories of the FG
Your body is clearly Dramatic to me (I don't see width), but your face essence is a mix to Dramatic + Romantic + Classic, in the essence system you can have 3, dominant, secondary and tertiary essence.
My essences have been verified in PSC and they are Ingenue romantic and gamine
@@Gabriellearrudadesign wow that's cool, I would like to be verified, how that works?
@@rowanjoy419 Kitchener essences- is style essences so you can go to him (john Kitchener). You can also watch my interview with andrea Pflaumer who was trained by john and PSC essences.
sorry Gabriela, bt I agree withthecoment above, you are clearlya mix of those 3 ,but you are flamboyantnatural. @@Gabriellearrudadesign
@@Gabriellearrudadesign totally! A lighter value belt would have been perfect!
@@aleesiadae382 totally right! 👍🏻
I just found out about kibbe and I'm SO glad to have found this video while I'm still not deep into the rabbit hole
I guessed it omggg, I was like she looked good in that
Wow, I can’t believe I guessed right but clearly my research is paying off. You just looked really comfortable and naturally beautiful in the flamboyant natural clothes. Plus I could tell you had vertical and some width so it seemed to make sense for you. Love the video!
Flamboyant Natural!! Omg. I would swim in that, but you hold it sooo well
👍🏻👍🏻
I thought you were dramatic classic at first cuz it looked great on you!! But the sharpness is surely appearing on you
I like the classic look on you! That white dress looks perfect on you!
I got that dress at a sample sale, it's Lanvin- it's truly a work of art!
I loved the Theatrical Romantic on you!
I really liked "natural" on you!
I struggle because my face and body are opposite. My face is dramatic/romantic whereas my body is natural/classic . Can you help me ?
I have same issue- classic face, romantic body. Hope we get clarity!
i guessed you right even tho I liked the soft dramatic look most on you!! proud of myself😂 btw I love that blue top on you
Thanks! Love your channel! Your lively, approachable personality and the funny little mene/etc. clips help hold my attention span too haha
I think I’m a soft natural but love the gamin looks.
@@AngelaMastrodonato gamines have fun lines! But you can still infuse the gamine essence as a SN- just maybe a little less structured/staccato pieces
Love your attitude and message
thought you were like 5'11"
You are the girl who looks good in every type there is!
That's very nice of you to say, but I assure you it's not true. I have some stinker looks too
@@Gabriellearrudadesign You crack me up.
I would say FN, but you also look gorgeous în SD and surprisingly in TR too (must be that romantic yin influence) and SC looks good on you.
you look amazing in soft natural lines
@@Gabriellearrudadesign I agree with everything you just said😉
I am SN and instead of looking at kibbes recommendations, I look at celebrities with the same type (ie. Jennifer Aniston) to get inspiration :)
I’m just figuring this all out. You helped me decide to stay away from the strictly kibbe group. They already seemed...a bit much.
Have you considered The classic family? Either SC or DC?
So far soft classic seems to be fitting most, though I think my face is not super proportional
I think your style is dope, even down to the way your voice sounds!
Thank you!!
You look amazing in D and DC outfits in this video!!
I really liked the dramatic outfit, too. I was wondering if it was just me.
in Brazil Arruda is a pretty common surname
My dads from Brazil 🥰
I loved dramatic classic and natural .
In flamboyant gamine you looked edgy. I think DC recommendations would be good as a start for all flamboyant types and for dramatic.
SC recommendations would be good as a start for all soft , romantic types .
And the person can use those as a canvas then play with it adding their flavour and personality . And it would be good.
I knew it was FN immediately lmao
I guessed your kibbe ID so fast! I myself had so much struggle finding my own type. I really wanted to be gamine but turns out I am a TR. 🙃 I am mixing the essence of gamine with TR lines now. Works really well. 👍
I think that's a great way to do it! Clothes don't even have ID's so merging different styles can be super effective
Very narrow straight boyish looking legs below the knees, narrow hands and big palms and feet, narrow lengthy fingers and my shoulders are kinda sharp and blunt with no muscle in shoulders or in upper arms
If possible, can please tell me what you think my type might be? Or any recommendations yo find out. I would be forever be grateful. Regardless, I subscribed. Do upload more videos, it’s helpful. Have a great day ahead!!
I never identified with any outfit as much as with your soft natural look. That is what feels best to me. But at work i Feel underdressed too often
Totally get that! I’d look for softly tailored pieces for work, that might help bride the gap (less seaming/lining, sharp tailoring, softer fabrics).
I honestly thought you looked best in the Soft Dramatic outfit. Are there certain IDs that are similar enough that you can pass back and forth?
Not exactly- but FN and SD do share vertical accommodation and I do borrow some SD silhouettes. My essence blend includes romantic/dramatic/natural which I think helps me pull those ones off
I guessed natural. I think of FN’s as quite tall. But yes - anything along the natural/FN line totally fits you. 😊❤️
FNs can be any height- they just have vertical which doesn’t equal height 👍🏻Sara Jessica Parker is 5 ft 3 and verified FN
I really like being soft and fleshy plus I love the recs so I was one of the lucky ones that liked being my ID from the beginning (Romantic)
Some people luck out and immediately love their IDs. For others it takes a while. Love romantic style lines though!!
FN all the way! When you came out in that outfit the split second you showed up to the world I was like yes girl yes!! So jealous you can pull that off that is my fantasy look… Alas, I do not have the vertical lines way too much curve going on
Yay I was correct!! 👏🏼👏🏼
I think the grass is always greener with kibbe! I'm jealous of curves!
When she talked about the hole I died, cause I've honestly fallen in that hole recently 🤣
It's such a rabbit hole 😅
That bunny bag is so cute!
I thought you looked best in the Dramatic and Soft Gamine outfits. it’s all so subjective.
Totally! I think the system can be super helpful in the beginning... but these days personal style and expression reign supreme! and thank you!
Loved you in the silk slink petticoat dress and pink coat. You seem to me to have that hidden away…but you are so good at it. Like a forbidden pleasure, you keep bouncing around pretending it’s not there. Emotional freedom technique clears emotional blocks.
Such a helpful video!! Thank you so much ❤️❤️❤️
Flamboyant Natural
I thought you were flamboyant of some type.
I actually used that article on plus sizes to figure my ID out. I’m a romantic but I don’t feel I have an hourglass figure. Other than that it all fits my body type. I’m short. I look short. I’ve had full breast since 6th grade yada yada. The thing is I don’t feel very romantic in what I pick fashion wise. I do tend to get compliments often. Now, I’ll have to see if I get more when I’m dress for my ID. I just don’t really like pastel colors or flowy fabrics. 😬
You should check out the essence system- I have a video on that as well. It might help you figure out gaps in your kibbe ID🥰
I just loved the Nazare meme 💜 she is international!!
Totally!!
I was going to say fn (yay!) but your best look in my opinion is the soft natural one. You look very good in that outfit :)
I think an FN could definitely wear that one as well
Honestly I find kibbles system fails me regularly.
Kibbe isn’t for everyone! Maybe explore the style essence system- maybe even the ingenue essence 👍🏻
@@Gabriellearrudadesign thank you for the idea, i appreciate that! :)
I would have to guess either soft dramatic or flamboyant natural :)
I would say you're in the Natural family
Dramatic classic looks good on you...
I truly think you look like a total dramatic classic!
Because of the style lines or bone structure? I think my yang is a bit too blunt to be a DC ( you can really see it in my nose, chin, and shoulder edge). And my torso definitely has width (which i hide well I think lol!)
