Thanks Trent. I've been using Davinci Resolve for 4 years but I learn something new with each of your videos.

These are some of the best videos you've ever done. Another topic: newbies who bring in log footage because they want the best possible footage, but don't know what to do with it once it gets into Resolve.

Thanks, @bennettandyp! I will add the topic of log footage to my list!

Do you use this program to make your video? If so, how do you add your pictures to the circle?

Hi @bryerra! Yes I use Davinci Resolve when I make my videos. For some videos, I do work with an outside editor since the editing process is becoming very time consuming. He uses Premiere because that is what he has experience with.
The circle effect can easily be achieved in Davince Resolve by using the "DVE" filter. It has lots of nice picture-in-picture controls. You can access it by clicking the Effects button. Then, you can find the DVE under Toolbox -> Effects -> DVE. I'll try to make a video for it at some point. Hope this helps!

There's a free and studio version of this software

Correct, and I've been using the free version in all these videos. In fact, I don't even have the paid (Studio) version because the free version does everything I need 🙂
