Thanks for putting these videos out! One of these ads popped up for me on TH-cam! How could anyone believe that you could get. 5k drone for a hundred bucks? Crazy!! Thanks again man!
I think a lot of people don't know about drones so they buy these. They have a crazy spread of platforms they are running these ads on now. Mostly google.
You're 100% spot on. I bought one a few years ago for my son. It barely works. Very primitive, old tech. Very unstable. A few weeks ago it flew away from our backyard, and my son always laughs at a $5,000 claim in the ad. It. became somewhat of a joke in our household.
Thanks for this video! It sounded too good to be true to me and I never trust the site’s own reviews so I went looking on google for actual reviews and found your video. I appreciate your efforts to be heard and thanks for saving me the money of finding out on my own what a piece of garbage this is! I am sharing your video to hopefully help others save their hard-earned money.
This is a great video man. I'm glad you're raising awareness. People are buying these thinking it's going to be like a DJI. But it doesn't even have 0.5 percent of the capabilities a DJI does. There is a reason you pay $1000 plus or $2,000 plus dollars or even more for a DJI. There are decent drones out there that are less expensive than a DJI. But the rule of thumb is anything under $500 is not going to be very capable. If you're going to spend that kind of money you might as well just get a used DJI. Then you'll have the reliability and the quality. The sky quadrone is a toy. While the DJI is a tool.
That's a fact bro,,. I almost fell for this shit back when "Arthur bell" (former cost to cost radio personality name lol) got fired bc he found out the company that he help build, was using cheap parts and selling drones expensive these stories tho🤣, Ha! I learned my lesson after i got a "blue burning lazer" for 80 bucks.. yea right "green lazer pointer with no battery" more like..now I kno why i was only charged 40. Green lazer was still cool so i went brought a 99 cents flashlight and returned that to them for a refund, needless to say, im happy with my "purchase". Anyhow bro great idea for a yt channel lol. We all appreciate u, so don't be so modest. Sombody gotta expose these fkin lowlife pricks for who they are... lovvv Nohomo"
Thought the video seemed pretty sketchy, especially since they were showing footage of the DJI Mavic Mini 2 (which my brother literally owns) in action, and then showed their completely different looking drone and marketing it as the same thing. Searched to see if it was legit on google and came across your video. Thanks for making this.
I bought one. Remote didn’t turn on. They sent another. Remote didn’t turn on. Asked for my money back and they said to send it back but I pay the postage. They didn’t include a company name. Only a shipping address. I’m going to cancel the payment through my credit card. As the guy says; total POS!
I fell for the Amazon version of this scam. Luckily, Amazon will let you return everything, so I’m not out any money. I did, however, about take out a couple of the neighborhood kids when I took my first flight and the POS drone took off uncontrollably. What sucks is Amazon will not let you leave a review to warn others that they are selling a dangerous drone marketed to kids and adults.
I pay for TH-cam Premium, so I don't see TH-cam ads. I have a DJI Air 2S and it's an awesome drone! It's not exactly affordable for everyone, but it's worth saving up for! I can tell by your video that the drone is a cheap piece of plastic! It talks about collision detection function, but does not mention sensors. My DJI has 8 obstacle avoidance sensors. It also mentions awesome video, but doesn't mention anything about the camera. My DJI has a 1" camera sensor which allows me to record in 5.4K video. When an advertisement is vague, you never really know what you are going to get - if you get anything at all!!! This is a note to everyone who will buy some kind of technology in the future (so basically, this note is for everyone), Always check the specs (specifications) of anything before you buy it! Always compare it to similar items. Never buy something because an advertisement shows bells and whistles! I compared the DJI Air 2S to the Skydio 2 and a couple others before making my decision to purchase the Air 2S. I bought the 'Fly More Combo' which includes extra batteries and accessories. Alone my drone costs $1000, and the Fly More Combo' cost me $1200. I couldn't imagine anyone selling something comparable to this for under $100. Buyer beware!!! Thanks for the info on this! I hope you save a lot of people from wasting their money!!!
Thanks for posting, good way to get the news out there about this rip off.I admit to buying one, thought it would probably be crap and I might do my money, but it was cheap.Yep,didn't fly right out of the box,was unable to calibrate it and it flew away out of range, which was maybe 45 metres, not 100 metres as stated.Couldn't get the wifi to work.Did get a reply eventually, but not helpful.Guess I will have to go through paypal to get my money back. Thanks for sharing, cheers

Thanks for the video… ironically, the ad immediately following your video was the Skyquad drone commercial!
That actually happens quite frequently!!
Funny things, I watched you video, and thank you for the great info, then after is was done, the SkyQuad drone ad played! 🙂
Haha damn scammers
I was looking at this commercial today. I was really considering it. Thanks for saving me $100!!! Cheers from Canada
Good for you for checking forst
You saved yourself $100 by looking into it first. Good job!
Thank you, saw the advert and did a google for reviews and saw your video, price seemed to be good to be true.

Do anyone remember when they said "indestructible drone" and burned it with a flame thrower and it crashed? 😂
I would buy it with a flamethrower
After watching this video an ad for the same drone came on i STG!

I'm glad it arrived that's better than most people! Others has reported that it seems to fly off never to be seen again so be aware

You can get it on Amazon for $49 or alibaba for $29
